    • You never understand it? Fighters get paid half if they lose and they get put on a different career trajectory so everything is riding on a win. A fight isn't over until a referee stops the fight and it's quite literally your job to fight until the ref pulls you away. There have been countless times a fighter's been knocked down only to recover moments later even when they go unconscious and limp. You're trained to always go until the ref stops you.

    • Think of it like how officers put more rounds than needed in a suspect they think could be a danger. To a sensible person watching the video, the extra shots don’t seem so sensible. To the person in the ring and under threat , it may seem sensible.

    • @@dexting3367 lots of fighters don’t continue when their opponent is out. There are also lots of fighters who continue when it’s obvious that the opponent is out. Those are the guys with no class and they should be kicked out.

  • It's a trip how some of these feared fighters from Pride came over to the UFC and got their asses handed to them. Mirko got murked by Gonzaga; Shogun Rua gets KO'd by Forest Griffin, and Vanderlei Silva ended up getting beat by a lot of UFC fighters. And Fedor just didn't want to sign with the UFC at all, probably thinking about his health.
