  • If it was cast iron then it'll fail almost immediately. if it was normal steel I give it a few months to fail because the filler material isn't nearly as strong as the base. Oh well, it'll be back and he'll do it again. job security I guess.

    • Do you really think that they do this things there for years and they don't know the difference between cast iron and steel?!!!! I think perhaps you know that a lot of metals were discovered and developed over there?

    • @@fz1205 I don't think it really matters for them, it needs fixing, so it gets fixed. I don't think there's any thought beyond that.

    • They gotta reuse everything they can in that part of the world, even if it impacts the quality. I'm not defending it, I'm just telling you why they do it.
