Uncharted is just such a good series every moment second and hour of the games.
I agree when it comes to the setpieces, the cinematics and some of the stealth sections from the later games. However, particularly in the original uncharted game there are alot of repetitive climbing/shooting sections. Also in Uncharted 4 some of the earlier sections had pacing issues. Particularly the Scotland level.

@@solidsnake9898 the action set peices were honestly the only parts of the games I enjoyed. The parts inbetween were kinda boring to me and the repetive gunfight secrions got old quick. I also didnt care much for any of the characters, nathan drake as a protaganist was such a cliche character that I found his forced charm to be very annoying. My first Uncharted game was uncharted 2 and yes the set peices were great but I was confused that this was the game everyone was calling a masterpeice????? Id prefer Naughty Dog bringing back Jak and daxter.
The Motorcycle Chase in A Thief's End is a modern masterpiece of video game action. It's something that's going to be very hard to top

The Sword Fight With Rafe, Escape of UBAR, The Guardians in Shambala , Plane Scene , and the BOAT FIGHT
I’ve got to give it to the train sequence from Among Thieves as the top action sequence. Where it beats out the others is just how impactful it was. There was a great building of tension and balance of gameplay up to that moment. On the other hand, there were so many action set pieces in Drake’s Deception coming one after the other (collapsing chateau, sinking ship) that by the time of the crashing plane sequence it just didn’t have the same impact for me. Still fun, but some of the wow factor was already gone at that point.
I already said this but I wish Uncharted 4 had more time for development because the best sequence in the game didn’t make it in (The Crane sequence), I hope they add it into the remastered version. Here’s the link to the audio file if you’re interested: kzhead.info/sun/fsOYga2HkJpooZ8/bejne.html
Uncharted 3 was mainly my favorite for the story above all else. I legitimately screamed and cried when you-know-who got shot towards the end and you had to save them. Plus it had my favorite villain. But yeah, the impact of the train scene definitely stuck with me more as the main feature. It was just so HOPELESS once he woke up, bleeding out.
I think an honourable mention should be the fight on Avery's ship in Uncharted 4 between Rafe and Nathan.
YES IT IS SO CINEMATIC Pro tip: for one hilarious experience you'll NEVER forget, unlock some cheats and equip the following all at once while playing that final boss: - helium voices - rainbow funland - Sam's waiter outfit - slow motion - low gravity You're welcome. :)
Also the barfight at the start of uncharted 3 should have been mentioned. Hitting those dudes with chairs, bottles or even bang their hands into the pooltable was so epic in my opinion.
The plane sequence/stowaway in Uncharted 3 is my favorite. When you have Indiana Jones himself speechless when he plays it, you know you just created something masterful in the action adventure genre
Train sequence is way crazier and action packed the plane is really short and just went for set piece

I remember trying to attack him while he was escorting me, but then he punched me in the gut and pointed his gun at me saying "Don't give me a reason." Had no choice but to back off after that.
My favourite set piece has to be the Uncharted 4 jeep chase when your chasing after Sam

Sic parvis Magna greatness from Small Beginnings
For me. Nothing will ever beat the Locomotion. I remember the 1st time playing that mission and i was left STUNNED. I couldn't talk for hours just sitting in front of my TV saying "HOOOLY SHIIIIT !!!. THAT WAS SOOOO GOOD !. THIS WAS MOVIE QUALITY ACTION AND SET PIECE !". I couldn't stop talking about it for weeks with my friends.
Yep, that will always be #1, just as Uncharted 2 will always be the best Uncharted. It’s just such a step up from its predecessor, and yes, the train scene was absolutely damn mindblowing for its time, and even now. 10/10
Uncharted is one of the best series ever! I know they had to retire at some point, but man will we miss playing these games.

It’s up there. There’s a few, though, that maybe aren’t as consistent, but are more groundbreaking or important. My favorite franchises are probably Zelda, God of War, Mario, Half-Life. The obvious ones. Final Fantasy, albeit I’ve only played a few.

I love the Uncharted games. The only one I never played was Golden Abyss. I am happy that I was able to beat the other 5 games on Crushing and get the Platinum trophies on PS4. Most of these action sequences I remember spending a long time trying to beat on Crushing.
I'm also platinum the games and i already beat Uncharted 1 and 2 on crushing

What an incredibly fun series to play. This and the God OF War series are tops for me.
zombie spaniards may not be the most insane action sequence but it is by far the most intense and actually a bit terrifying. those MF creatures stalking you in that u boat base while the alarms are going off was scary when I was 12 and it’s scary now
I actually really enjoyed drakes 3 when he’s captured by the pirates, fighting your way out then climbing up and out and seeing the ship graveyard and that whole sequence right to the end of the big ship sinking!! It never lets up
The train sequence in Lost Legacy was sooooo damn good. I’m convinced any time they put the characters on a train, it’s gonna rule.

Without watching the video I can tell the train scene from uncharted 2, the plane scene from uncharted 3 are some of the best scenes in a video game.
I enjoy all the uncharted games, but Uncharted 3 and Uncharted 4 we're my favorite.

hopefully there's should be a sequel for the movie. My first uncharted game to play was probably the uncharted 2 because there to many action in the game also the location of the game are pretty realistic to me and i like where the part when nathan jump a lot of buildings and the Helicopter kept chasing him
It's pretty crazy the graphical difference 5 years make. Between uncharted 3 and 4. Different console generation, but still impressive.

The car chase in a thiefs end is amazing but there was only one problem, and that was the whole sequence was spoiled when Naughty Dog showed that whole sequence. Kind of a bummer if you ask me, it wasn't surprising like locomotion or the train sequence in lost legacy

Going back, you realize that the women got just as involved in the brutal action as the men. Hell yeah! And the character writing is SO GOOD! I fully believe that nobody would really love or care about this series if not for the fact that Nate is such a lovable protagonist, his friends are all great multi-dimensional people, and the villains are all memorable and full of life. I especially love the woman (I can't remember her name at the moment) from the 3rd game who has been after Nate since he was a child. She was so menacing and I'll never forget how she just sunk with her treasure. Gruesome. And the action scenes are all so well choreographed that I don't care if the survivability is WAY overestimated. It's glorious!

What bug is stopping you from finishing the 2nd game. I replayed them in April with no issues.
@@TrippleBPlays It's the part where you are on a mountain and have to shoot far away using a sniper. Only problem is that it doesn't let me aim closely
@@Elico-du1oi I didn't know about that issue. I knew with uncharted 1 I had to play offline because reading my friends' statistics was crashing the game.

@@Elico-du1oi When I replayed the games in April I was aiming for the Platinum trophies and was happy to be able to get them. Uncharted 1 isn't my favorite game in the series, but I still enjoyed it.

Uncharted 2 is definitely the best in my opinion as well. Uncharted 4 was the worst since it was really boring and felt out of place compared to previous Uncharted games in my opinion. My best to worst are as follows: -Uncharted 2 -Uncharted 1 -Uncharted 3 -Uncharted 4

As much as I like Tom Holland, I think he was poor casting for Nathan Drake, and Wahlberg as Sully makes zero sense to me. It seems like they were cast to appeal to a wider audience, but the result is a generic action film that no one will think much of, and disappointed fans who don't recognise the characters as those from the game. In other words, in trying to make everyone happy, no one is happy.

I will say it’s got my favorite level / setpiece of the series, but even that doesn’t excuse it from being a lazy uninspired game.
@@jaysony8587 that’s true with the copy yeah they really almost copied everything and people who think 3 is the best should be quiet, i think 2 has the best levels too, cause 3 had with the ship amazing levels but they were just made for the set pieces and not the story, and 2 had the most iconic levels in my eyes with the train, Nepal, shambhala, mountaineering, village tank like almost every level was amazing
