Would be great if they added points for following squad orders again! Maybe some special squad leader call in support too, like in bf5.
Agreed there isn't really any incentive to send squad orders especially if you're actually talking to them. The same goes if you aren't squad leader too but that was one thing bf5 did really well, get your squad in the action ASAP to get a Churchill crocodile or whatever you wanted lol

Yeah it's an absolutely crime not giving points for squad team play. I don't understand why it was not included from the very beginning. It's difficult to find a reason why they would exclude it.
The squad perk system from BF4 was good too. As long as someone in the squad was alive you'd keep your perks like extra ammo and grenades, undetectable on tugs if you weren't sprinting etc. But if your whole squad wiped then you'd have to re earn them through following squad orders
i will always say i respect the new DICE team for not letting this game, be left in a unplayable state, they made so many good changes, i really hope they get a redemption for a new game or maybe making this game a BF classic

It's getting better and better with every update, really enjoying it now. Might even say it's getting close to becoming my favorite BF! (and I've played since BF2)

The main gaming youtubers I watch are Jackfrags, Tomographic, Aculite etc and they've barely been posting Warzone 2 content. And I remember even youtube would regularly suggest Warzone content to me from channels i didn't even follow and now thats also completely stopped The only youtubers i can think of who still post regular MW2 content are Westie and Handler 🤔

That small ridge between D2 and C1 is actually really fun now. There are some prober frontline fights now in that area. I think there is still room for improvements though.

The team that took over to fix this game have to be some of the best people in the industry. They haven't missed yet. Every single change is fantastic. All the maps they've added and updated have been great! Really impressive.
You're correctof course but would like to see a major focus on weapon reworks and balancing the bullet damage. That would really count IMO.

@@TheCameltotem Nothing really. Typically one team works on a game up until launch, then many of them move on to the next game after release and a different group of people works on the post launch support. There is certainly some overlap between the two teams, but a lot of the technical developers (graphics programmers for example) aren't necessary anymore.
@@rosskuhlman this is not what happened with this game. Dice invested in two new studios and development teams just for reworking BF2042 including bringing in the original developer of Halo. They change around and moved the original development staff from 2042 and kept them on developing the game as well. No one has been moved on from the game yet and Dice is adding another year if development on to 2042 with all three development studious working on the game till end of next year.

I gotta say, I recently bought bf2042 after watching your videos and it's honestly been a blast so far. Not quite like bf3 bf4, I think there's somehow both excessive emptiness and excessive verticality and clutter in many places making it easy to randomly die without ever seeing the enemy, but the large scale not-battle-royale feel from conquest and frontlines is still there.
Yeah you just gotta get familiar with the Maps and all the high vertical points and you won’t be Killed as much

the one thing i really love in this game is when one team is pushing for something like C2 on Spearhead and the other is pushing for C1, the ridge where they meet becomes a massive firefight with like 30 players on each side
Really enjoyed playing today! The rework is awesome and the matches were so intense on this map. Actually, all recent patches were great! The game improved a lot. Left the universal aiming on and might keep it if I can quickly get used to it. Hope for a soonish change for Hourglass…

One of my favorite guns is the M16A3. I find it super easy to control the recoil and it works well with the medium to longer ranges

I used the m16A3 mostly for the first year or so the game was out. But recently I've been liking the AC42 and RM68 a lot more. I know, half the players seem to use these guns now... But for good reason. Try em out! The M16A3 is great at long range, that's its advantage... But the RM68 is pretty damn good at long range and is much more superior close/mid, IMO. It's lighter too, aims quick, reloads fast. AC42 is fun too, burst fire but crazy accurate, very little recoil. I can't go back to the M16A3 now. Every time I try it, it feels like it takes for ever to aim down sights. Really lets me down with closer range fights.

i love the BSV-M, and so i turned the LCMG into it by putting the high-power mag and extended barrel to lower the rate of fire as much as possible and have it hit as hard as possible
I decided to spend a Sunday afternoon unlocking all the guns in Co-Op, which was good practice and surprisingly good fun. Mostly been using the AC42 and the SVK. Can't quite bring myself to join in the RM68 spamfest.
the svk hits like a truck, love that thing, i also picked up the xm8 and i love setting up with a bipod and going to work with that thing

I end up using a variety of weapons just because i love chasing the assignments/challenges. Though if i had to pick a favourite it'd probably be the M44. Most reliable sidearm i've found for cleaning up kills at just about any range and in almost any engagement. Also, it's just cool.

I usually default to Assault Rifles and DMRs, but the new RPT-31 LMG debuted on this Season has certainly punched in some numbers in my games.
I would greatly recommend damage numbers! It gives you that tiny bit more information, especially fun/important when fighting armor. It is under Display>Crosshair>Hit Indicator>Damage Number Visibility. I find it best at small.
I have a hard time using anything but the M5A3 and the 12M - so consistent.

The RM68 is up there for me weapon wise, trying unconventional things now - NVK S22 with slugs is surprisingly fun!
I really miss the Squad call-in's from battlefield 5 or the commander from Battlefield 4 it would be nice to get a smoke strike, or airstrike in situations so you dont have to scream at your team to equip certain items

Bf2042 has been absolutely fun lately. I hope we keep this same flow. Every match has been a warzone! Team work has been phenomenal even with randoms on your squad. Action happens in every location of these maps and they are all exciting battles. I hope they keep the 128 player conquest mode.

In my opinion, they should go back to the Battlefield 4 vehicle spawning. With it having specific vehicles for different maps. Just the whole system they had for vehicle spawning in Battlefield4 was perfect.

BSVM is my fav main gun to use the slow RoF but hard hitting rounds makes it great at all ranges or you can swap it up to be more like a SMG with high RoF but the high damage rounds with the 2.5 thermal as a back up site means you can really easy pick up edge camping snipers with it and then swap back to a 1x for close range
as a former quake player, it's so hard getting used to snipes and long shot weapons. but the reworks are ok, but there is this bus near c1 of c2 that you can go into, and people just keep camping it.. gona start putting clay-mores there.

the rm68 is everywhere. so ive been playing wt the crossbow. what a good time. highly recommend playing wt something other than the best guns.

I have been using the AVANCY LMG. It’s a accurate beast that has good hip fire when you need it in a pinch.
Try the LCMG with close-quarters ammo, a shortened barrel, and a Rattlesnake light grip, Cobra grip, or laser sight if you do a lot of hipfire. It basically makes it into an overpowered SMG with very controllable recoil and great accuracy. Great for almost any range, too, but it excels at mowing multiple people down at close range without having to reload. You can get some of the same attachments for the Avancys, but the LCMG has a higher rate of fire and I feel like it also has a faster ttk (time to kill) with these attachments.

@@Tightt88 Jack actually covered this very build in a video awhile back, entitled "Battlefield 2042 is total chaos nowadays...", which is what inspired me to start using it. It was my favorite weapon until the RM68 was recently released. Now I've been rocking that mostly (until they nerf it...lol), but I still love that LCMG build on some maps when I'm playing defense in Breakthrough, especially when it's indoors CQC and you need to clear some hallways fast. lol

Same! It's a beast! I have it setup for close-range with the shortened barrel and close combat ammo, but it's still amazing at range, too. Accurate af with almost no recoil. I feel like they will probably nerf it soon. lol

As for guns, I really love Avancys (I play engineer 98% of time) and M5A3 always feels good to fall back to as well.

Try the BSVM with different barrel bullet combos. You can snipe with it it or it can be a CQ beast with a super high fire rate.
Glad to hear it's a bit smaller I've yet to play it, but I find with the bigger maps it's just too much. I do a lot better with the smaller maps, this rework looks pretty good, I like the scrap yard area

Working my way through all the 2042 assault rifles going T1 on them, as was just using 3 or 4 guns, one from each section and decided to spice it up a bit.
Does anyone else look at that whole landscape of that map and just wish there was a way to play different zones of the map? Could have quite the naval warfare with all the ships along the coast
I’ve pretty much stuck with the M5A3 since the beta, it’s pretty reliable.
