The Insurgency Sandstorm community is by far the best of any first person shooter I've played. When we were insurgents a guy said "Glory to Ukraine" and the next said "Glory to Khazakstan" in the Borat voice. Just a bunch of guys having a good time with no hard feelings. Can't beat it.

My brother served in Iraq when they had to take out a target. @@elitef3642 Oh yeah, and that too. I remember reading somewhere that having good voice lines in an RTS is extremely important because you will be hearing them over and over again. Sandstorm isn't an RTS, but it damn well knows the value of good voice lines. It helps that the former lead game developer is Insurgency Source's sole voice actor (and Black Mesa's HECU voice) and a former Marine. Everyone in Sandstorm and Source acts confident when relaxed, but screams like children when under fire, which brings them more character than the standard ultra-cool ultra-tactical COD characters. Big shout-out to the Insurgent Mercenary, who while being Russian which tends to be stereotypically gruff-voiced and weak grasp of English, is one of the _highest-pitched_ characters out there.
