Xabi Alonso as a manager and Owen Hargreaves and Joe Cole as pundits. These are players I grew up watching, I feel so old.
Same 😮😢
watching Alonso makes me feel it was not so long ago, man does not age!
@oraetblavora2375 true he still looks like 35
bro never forget how fast time is and how we should value all the moments...
Same 😢
Even in a game they could afford to lose, Neverlusen still refuses to lose.
Xabi is is a born winner great mindset
What this man is doing is absolutely astonishing.. Fans aren't giving much glaze into it but they'll be nostalgic over the years He deserves a statue in Leverkusen aside the street name if he wins the Treble 😎🙌
if he wins "a" Treble
They’ll name a street after him just for the league title. ✨
A treble invencible
This is Leverkusen's first league title ever. Even if they lose the DFB and Europa League cups, the fans would still build him a statue.
@@Nice-ou8ps Losing to a 2.BL side fighting against relegation would look extremely bad... Not to mention letting them wreck Germany's UEFA coefficient
Honestly, a lot of managers wouldn't take off Kossounou that early even though he was horrendous and visibly nervous/shook by the crowd. But it needed to be done if they wanted to win/stay unbeaten. Xabi is absolute class.
Credit to Moyes and his boys for getting a draw here, West Ham really tried their best
I think if he takes over Real some day, it will be the beginning of an era
Next Season to Madrid, taking Frimpong and Boniface with him
@@RoyalFootballCityFC Next season is too early, he just extended his Leverkusen contract 2 weeks ago. I guess he wants to play CL with them first. Real is more likely 2026 (or 2025 if Real would buy him out)
They've won 5 of the last 10 champions leagues. They're in an era already.
@@davek9047ready for their 6th in 11 years
Boring 😴
Xabi Alonso is the dog bollocks, he has it all! World class player and manager, great tactician, born winner and prestigious profile playing for all the top teams and now winning at big club in Germany. Wish he was coming to Liverpool, real invincible unlike Arsey Arsenal.
Calm down they haven't gone fully invincible yet 😂
Like 3 games left lad
Alonso turned Leverkusen from relegation battlers to German champions now they are fighting for Europa League DFB Pokal glories I hope they win it
They were hanging from the league celebrations
The players were still drunk and managed to get a draw
44 consecutive games unbeaten. That alone speaks for itself.
45 xd
Good that he replaced Kossounou after 30 minutes. The guy was all over the place.
It’s good that he had the guts for an early substitute. Kossounou was so risky, already had a yellow card and repeated the mistakes in the build up. Not every manager is brave enough to sub a player that early. Alonso is a serious manager and knows exactly what he is doing and what he has to do in order to progress. After the substitutes it became a different game. Not everything was good from Leverkusen, maybe they still had a little hangover from winning the league, but in the end they went through and got their record.
It wasn't Leverkusen and Wirtz's best game today, the second half was solid, but they got the job done.
there was a big party some days ago...
Generational manager 18 year old Mbappe of managers
Why not the 18-year old Messi of managers?
18 year old Mbappe is better
@@nabz5538I was about to disagree but yeah Messi was not doing what Mbappe was doing at 18.
@@kevin084life I think Neymar was the best young talent
he just lucky he didn't start the career in the prem, be in a context man
Meus parabéns, excelente ano de futebol para Bayer leverkusen
Lucky deflected goal to keep the unbeaten record, but Leverkusen are a good side. Good luck to them in the next round.
Nah not lucky. If it wasn‘t deflected it would have gone in at the other post.
@@PandaNewyou don’t know that
@@ThisIsBS09 Most probably. But still, deflections are part of the game. They put themselves in that position to score a goal from the deflection. And lets be honest, the 2nd half was all Leverkusen, nothing lucky about it.
Losers always talk about luck but we forget that luck can be provoked. He repeatedly attempted strikes against the defensive block and it ended up paying off. If he had not taken this individual initiative, it would not have gone in and even perhaps without the defender, it would still have ended up in the net.
God his aura is just 🤌
West Ham did really well considering they were without arguably their best player in Paqueta, and Bowen clearly wasn't 100% after injury. Just ran out of legs against a terrific side in the second half and had nothing on the bench to make any difference.
Frimpong what a player 💚 well done leverkrusen
This game was so much better to watch than the liverpool game. Would love to see Bayer get through to the final
Magnificent team structure by Xabi!!
Xabi as Manager > Gerard fullstop
Hope he wins the treble
Harry kane should've went to leverkusen, instead 😮 This is a very decent team....over 2 legs. Shame for west ham, but well done Xavi Alonso & team 👏🏻
What a coach, again doing the right changes timely enough and they all worked.
Keep going Leverkusen cause trying to go a whole season unbeaten in all competitions is one the reasons football is fun this year
West ham couldn't beat a hungover team
Facts
Still better then what 99% of the English football league would have got from them
He is so smart , he recognized the weakest link in Kossunnuo , and the whole games changed in 2 half
Everyone recognised that Kossu was still drunk from the last party lol
I saw the score at 1-0, & I thought: "It's finally gonna happen?" - I know now I was a fool. This man doesn't know what it's like to lose.
Exactly!
Holy Aura
Leverkusen always brings super quick and fresh strikers like Frimpong late in the game, when they already exahausted the oponent.
Joe Cole is pretty delta uniform mike bravo.
why does owen hargreaves look like hes from harry potter
Professor Hargreaves 🤓
West Ham United drew with the newly crowned German champions 1-1.
Congratulations, Leverkusen!
King Xabi Alonso, the Man is fantastic in the next couple of years into the near future I will be waiting for him to coach Real Madrid, he will do a good job in the club.
An Invicible treble loading!!!
That ref came out full crazy in that second half. Absolute yoghurt top.
No investment,a sin at west ham
Wow, Xabi : West Ham played a great round one west Ham coach: ref speaks spanish.
“Damage already done” pfft going in with that mentality is weak minded, why they even bother to turn up then ? WE ARE LIVERPOOL! And scoring 3+ goals should be lightwork !!
ref actaully man of the match for leverkusen
Is he related to SD? Bloody likeness is mad.
Liverpool should leave no stone unturned to get that man
He's too good for Liverpool. real or Bayern in two years
Southgate is going to Liverpool.
No,he don't want.He just signed in Leverkusen till 2026.
Keep going until the last minute. His Madrid mentality coming to the fore.
They could end the season without a loss but still lose the Euro league and German cup final
I hope he goes to Real & not Liverpool, he would be dangerous back at Anfield.
why would he? Real is no challenge at all!
He goes nowhere.
I suppose ya, Liverpool is gona be a massive challenge now. A club in crisis. 🤣
I want him at Liverpool man 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺
Before: Neverkusen After: Lateverkusen Better late than never. Literally.
That was terrible
Neverloosen is better.
Couldn’t have said it any worse
Leverkusen are fantastic. Congrats to them! The party ends at Roma.
Good Joke.😂
@@soulslayergamer2318 get ready. We all know Germans love playing Italians 🤣
@@roccosage8508 Yes they do. Or must i remind u of the many looses Juve got against Bayern? xD
German national team always struggles against the Italian national team, but German clubs have a good record against Italian clubs, especially in the past years. Even the worst Dortmund team beat Ac Milan. Bayern beat Lazio and that was just this season.
Needed the referee to help them get to the semifinal
West Ham was lucky they didn’t get a red card in the 25th minute in the first leg. The refs performances over two legs were far worse against Leverkusen than West Ham.
@UnknownUser_10 saw the match Paqueta got a yellow However their players was fouling antonio in that first match there as well They are lucky they did not get a penalty
If Jude Bellingham was a manager
Bellingham is all physical. Doesn't come close to alonso technically
Alonso>>>>>Bellingham
Liverpool Man city West Ham Arsenal all out DISGRACEFUL Only Villa left An Embarrassmen for English Football 👎🏴
😂
Why does the media never mention the clear bias against English team in Europe. I’ve said it for a long time not that English teams should have English refs in their European games to make it fair.
They don't mention it because it is not true. The Spanish ref made a lot of weird decisions yesterday, true, but on both sides. But nothing important like penalty, offside or red card. Leverkusen gained control in the 2. half, West Ham players were really tired from 70. min. I think, the overall result is fair.
Helped out by your compatriot referee
They look really tired
Party
Xabi, the next Real Madrid manager when Don Carlo decides to move on.
Ref was a disgrace
When did Jason Bateman become a soccer manager 🤔
Bottling out of a real job at LFC
Respect to Leverkusen for being unbeaten for 44 games but this run will soon inevitably come to an end. They looked very average against us (West Ham) And we are 8th in the prem! I think Roma is when they will hit a reality check.
They were hungover from winning the league a few days ago. They’re a much better side then West Ham and Roma behave
Nah I think it was because of the big party that was happening 3 days ago, some players weren’t fit like u saw, many unexpected mistakes by players like xhaka and Wirtz that normally don’t happen. Also Leverkusen demolished u at home. Trust me, they won’t loose against Roma.
@@Raziel03 the only reason they battered us at home is because we sat back and gave them respect. They got a scrappy draw tonight and we’re utterly dominated In the first half. Also they are professionals and what kind of player is going to be hungover from drinking with an important European fixture coming up no matter the circumstances?
@@BowensOnFire they have beaten bayern 3:0 who just did beat arsenal being second place in premier league. They have proven over and over again their quality, one game doesnt change that or the opionion of a jealous britain who thinks bundesliga is "farmers league" while all english teams are getting smacked out in international competitions.
Roma beats Leverkusen.
Definite Liverpool manager in the summer!
Yeah, sure 👍
Literally rejected them mate
Not if Real Madrid come for him
Well… he is staying at leverkusen lol
He is staying at Leverkusen for another season that is confirmed. He rejected liverpool and rejected real Madrid. He is the type of manager that wants the challenges to win things with top 10 teams not the top teams of the big leagues. If he goes to Italy he will manage a team like Atalanta or roma. Then Spain he will manage real socidad or real betis. Tea,s like that from the big leagues. That's the type of manager he is and wants to be. He has made that clear already.
And pay the ref at half time I guess
Ref was bad for both sides.
Bottom league team looking for excuses ahahahahahahahahaha
@@davinnicode the ball was out for handball and he gave us 3 yellows it was literally are ball. Even the commentators were saying the ref was bad
