The first half was phenomenal. With a bit more luck they could have led 2-0 or 3-0. I think Xabi's tactical changes at halftime decided the game.
I think Moyes' tactics in the first game lost it. Leverkusen are not a brilliant team. Undefeated but 95% of those games against German teams… sorry lads but if we went at them in both games with could have been in another Semi

Leverkusen always have those refs behind them. In the round of 16, against Qarabağ, they won with absurd red card and they scored winning goal in 90+8 while ref only gave 6 minutes... UEFA has a plan for this season, and they apply it with the help of refs

Moyes is not a fair sportsman. Provocations came from West Ham in both games. In the first leg, Paqueta's red-worthy foul, now Antonio's unnecessary action against Tapsoba.

they had not. they were nervous and didnt want to fail. westham brought the energy and they didnt match it. thats football. however westham threw it all in the ring and they were done at minute 65 basically.

Playing against one of the best teams in Europe a ucl team tbh, put up a top fight conceding that late goal in first leg really messed them up imo. Poor officiating as well.

Because he's lucky and boring. He's spent half a billion to stick 10 men in the box and hope the other team don't score from the 25 to 30 shots every game. He gets bailed out by moments of brilliance from our attackers and then gets praise for it. He's a fraud.
1.) Boring football 2.) Ignoring the academy players 3.) Playing defensively yet still having one of the worst defensive records in league 4.) Inability to manage an entire squad and rotate players 5.) Ruining perfectly good players. 6.) Wasting money on talented players that he can't get a tune out of. 7.) Wasting money on old players. If west ham played like that for the most of the season we’d have no issues. It’s the shocking 5-0, 6-0 displays v Fulham and Arsenal and not trying to kill the game off at home to Bournemouth or Palace.

Because David Moyes has spent half a billion to give us the oldest, smallest squad in the league and every game stick 10 men in the box and hope the other team don't score from their 25 to 30 shots. It's horrendous to watch and we snatch and grabs results from moments of brilliance from our attackers, nothing to do with Moyes. He's the luckiest manager of all time and his football belongs in the dark ages.
