Interesting video@@JeffSu! looking at the video replays, looks like people are checking your Google Sheets formatting! Which I did too!
the Social Media Content is what I probably will use, because previously it kinda hard to engage on reposted Articles.

You mentioned that prompts would be in comments - Could not find
Hey guys, some tips: 1. Leave identifiers out, and use placeholders instead. This includes your name, the 2nd and third party's name and so on. Then use MS word replace all to fix the placeholders. This is so you don't break any NDA agreements with your company should OpenAI have some leakage. Don't even mention your city. 2. Always review the output to make sure that ChatGPT is not hallucinating. Talking from experience.
These are great tips, thanks for sharing!!
Great add here
I rarely leave comments on KZhead, but the video truly blows my mind and is my career transition saver! Already following you on KZhead and LinkedIn. I just can't get enough of your videos. They are absolutely amazing! Love!

Dude, aside from the consistently great quality of the information in your videos, the funny intro you usually do is getting better each time. This one made me LOL!
Hahahaha glad to hear it!! 😁

Man. We need a video of your content creation workflow. Given this isn't your full time job it's inspiring to see how much effort you're able to pour into this content as well as your website. Thanks for all free information.
I might do a video on that later this year Sean 😁

GENIUS!! I always tell me friends that interacting with ChatGPT is only as productive as the quality of the question (prompt) one poses to ChatGPT - and this tutorial explains that concept flawlessly.
That's what I love to hear 😁
awesome, these Chat GPT videos are by far my favorite content. So helpful thanks!🤗
Glad to hear it my friend 😁
Yes Jeff, loving the AI integrations into daily work. I hope you're planning some more AI videos like how to effectively use Google Workspace, Notion AI, ClickUP AI, etc. Cheers!

Heck yeaaa! 🙌🏻
Hi Jeff! I've been also using ChatGPT at work for helping me with rather complex Excel formulas and it works really well. Same applies to Google Sheets.
Oh interesting. How do you use it?
Jeff, I feel like you have the best ChatGPT videos ever! Thanks for your work!
Thank you Elif 😁
👍🏼 100%
Coincidentally I just used GPT (an internal model we run in our company, not the online one) to help me summarize and build out my own self-evaluation. It was super useful I didn’t use your technique but I did start with a lot of background about myself, my role, then what I did this year, then concluded with detailed instructions on what I wanted it to do (in this case I broke this up into multiple prompts). Thankfully, this particular model was already trained on our company’s high level objectives so it was pretty easy to use this particular GPT to then wrap it all up with some demonstrations of our high level objectives. It was pretty mind blowing! I was able to take about 2k words explaining in detail some context about accomplishments in the year and have it very cleanly and eloquently boil it down for me into a nice paragraph or two (along with a separate section on those objectives). Another HUGE “killer app” for it is the summarization, particularly of large amounts of content but most especially product reviews, surveys, various feedback and etc. This really is revolutionary for that use case. It is a large language model, after all!
Oh that's super interesting, thanks for sharing!!!
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for doing the heavy lifting and helping all of us noobs. Thank you thank you thanks again!
No problem 😁
Jeff - Thank you! I had to write about my goals utilizing the SMART framework. I stopped your video at 2:10 and put ChatGPT to work - 10 minutes later I have a super, and edited, response!

Brilliant prompts! I wish I had GPT when I was an intern at research organizations 12+ years ago. I was just doing the projects they were paying me to do without thinking about how it would impact my career in the long run. I didn't really have any portfolio or anything at the end. Definitely will use the presentation preparation prompts as I navigate presenting to colleagues and senior leadership.

Template I am preparing for a performance review at my company where my work is evaluated against three key attributes: Attribute 1, Attribute 2, Attribute 3 As part of this process, I need to write a self-assessment that reflects my contributions over the last two quarters. I would like this self- assessment to justify a high performance rating. To help with this task, I will provide definitions for each of the three attributes and a summary of my projects and contributions. I would like you to: 1. Assign each of my projects to one of the three attributes where it best fits. Please ensure that each project is only assigned once. 2. Write a positive and detailed self-assessment for each attribute, explaining how my projects demonstrate my proficiency in that area, Include specific examples and details. 3 Highlight the impact of my work by including quantifiable metrics where possible. It I haven't provided any, please suggest relevant metrics that could be used to measure the impact of my work. Here are the definitions of the attributes:

Love these prompts and use cases, thanks so much for the video! Really great value packed in one sub 10min video :o For the third prompt, I would just note that some of our corporate overlords may currently have a policy in place against inputting company data into ChatGPT. It depends on use case but for stuff like project briefs, you might be able to get around those policies by using dummy data!
That's a good point Andrea! With sensitive information I would 110% recommend we use ChatGPT to output a structure we can use 😁
Well, you sure know how to put Reality into AI ! Thank you for these wonderful videos!
Pure gold! Thanks!!!
You're very welcome 😁
good stuff! This is really helpful! Thanks, Jeff!
No problem my friend 😁
These are useful prompts. The main concern though is privacy, especially if there's company-confidential information in the prompts; probably nothing will happen, but it could pose privacy risks since OpenAI uses the data to improve/train its models. This can be mitigated (though not solved) through the Data Controls feature (option to disable chat history).
That's a really good point! I wouldn't put confidential information in there for sure
You can also delete yours and chatgpts convo. Hackers are collecting chatgpt accounts to collect info.
Very helpful. Good job!
Thanks 😁
Jeff, this looks promising and very helpfull! Thank you!

Love it! Just one issue: data privacy. It's risky to share company data there, and many of the suggestions could contain user or company data.
Agreed! Best to use dummy data and get the structure from the output 😁

Hi guys, First of all thank you for the awesome video. I do have a question to y'all. How do you deal with the issue of data protection? If you have tables created with internal company data, don't you make your data available to OpenAI? This point concerned be a little bit in using ChatGPT for everything. Would love to hear some opinions.
Don't input confidential data...

Hey Jeff! I had a question :3 My BBA is in Hotel Management but now I want to switch my major through an MBA. Is this a good way to go? Or should I think of something else?
Depends what you wanna do after the MBA my friend. If you want to network and pivot industries and you have the money, sure!
@@JeffSu I want to work at comapnies like Unilever and Nestle after the MBA. I was wondering if an MBA would be helpful for that.
@@Broadsword223 I would first network with people in those companies and see if an MBA helped them secure a job :)

One of the interesting about ChatGPT and maybe all LLMs is the consistency of the output. I can use the same prompt (thanks for the ideas, Jeff!), but I will get different responses each time I query the system. Is that just me or is there a way to normalize the output?
I have no technical background but you would need to use a sandbox or playground environment and decrease variability
Jeff Su is actually AI. He knows way too much😂 No way is any human on Earth is this productive😏 HAHAHA love your content❤❤❤
Shhhhh don't let anyone know!! Jeff.ai is still in beta :)

would you prefer crating a gpt (which uses gpt4 and is slower) or type in all the prompts each time and use gpt 3.5 for faster responses?
I prefer 4 for most of my use cases
First :) - Great Video! 💪🏼
Hahaha thank you Lukas 😁
Wunderbar

your tips are cool. I might have something that you might find interesting.
And what's that?
@JeffSu it's an opensource Python project, I've done a pretty long demo on that. Hard to miss among my videos as I don't have many. Feel free to use as many clips as u need from that.
Hi Jeff. I have no idea chatgpt can do that. Can you share us the general format pf your questions? Seems like you are assigning a role first, describing situation, and then giving the tasks.
So basically there are a few elements (in my opinion) when it comes to a prompt structure. In order of priority: 1. Task (e.g. generate a list of creative ideas for a birthday party) 2. Context (e.g. My son is turning 5 and he likes...) -> you want as much context as possible 3. Exemplars (e.g. Last year, we tried getting a clown and my son loved that, so this year...) 4. Miscellaneous (like tone, style, etc.)
The first one was the most useful for me - I hate writing those
I know right??
I’m hoping these were fake names, emails and numbers but at 4.10 there are two rows visible on the spreadsheet you use as an example. Thanks for the video
Yup all fake lol
how do you deal with corporate confidentiality requirements?
I don't upload any internal information 😅
This content is trailblazing. A similar book I read was equally pioneering. "Dominating Your Clock: Strategies for Professional and Personal Success" by Anthony Rivers
how can you directly copy and paste chatgpt prompt, are you using a chrome plugin or something? can you share me with that?❤
It's just a clipboard manager! You can use a free one called Maccy (for mac)
@@JeffSu Thank you! So, did you collect these prompts yourself and store them in a clipboard manager?

Hahaha that does sound cooler
Snap this is incredible. Been looking for content on how to improve productivity at work for some time now, I'm not looking to make pictures of sexy alien women, this is perfect
Hahahahahahahahahahaha thanks for making me laugh 😂
The limitation of ChatGPT starts with our imagination... Thanks for these tips, I will save the video! One question, do you usually revisit conversations with ChatGPT? How do you keep all the different conversations organized?
Oh I treat most conversations as one-off Luís!
I'm sure you heard about the serious bug custom GPT models are having; how users of those GPTs can break through the instructions such that chatgpt will ignore the role it was designed to do. So it appears that there's no "perfrect" prompt to give it. Can you make a video about this incident or at least share your thoughts on this matter? I'm not working on a custom one but I am working on a project and I have been getting into trying to make it stick to the instructions I gave it. I believe I commented on one of your later videos. Thanx for your videos
I just try my best to give good prompts, I never otherthink it 😂
