Cheetahs being very aggressive towards a jackal

2022 ж. 18 Қаз.

An unfortunate jackal was confronted by a an aggressive cheetah coalition and got smacked around. Cheetahs are rarely seen this aggressive against another predator. This is because cheetahs despise jackals the same way lions despise hyenas.

    • The arched back is typical of a scared jackal, and I'm guessing its keeping its head down is to stop the cheetahs going for its throat. Quite smart if you ask me. The cheetahs couldn't strangle it without risking a bite to the face.

  • aww i love jackals... i hope the poor wee guy is ok. Even before they attacked though, something did not seem right with that jackal :/ You can tell that those cheetahs were quite young though. Full grown adults wouldn't likely bother attacking a jackal like that.
