An unfortunate jackal was confronted by a an aggressive cheetah coalition and got smacked around. Cheetahs are rarely seen this aggressive against another predator. This is because cheetahs despise jackals the same way lions despise hyenas.

they usually would be able to actually, since they can accelerate and change directions so quickly they would be very hard to catch even for a cheetah, especially in any brush. This one is clearly injured and cannot run
if they were on the cheetah's diet, the cheetah would make sure they are caught, not worth an exhausting run@@soldatheero

Those are young cheetahs, driven by curiosity more than anything else.
I like how he humbles himself and beg for mercy. He doesn’t try to bolt for dear life because he knows he has no chance against these land speed brothers.

You can see that he's clearly limping. He has an injured leg otherwise he wouldn't limp.

Seems like if the jackal had just stayed down they'd get bored and wander off. But when he runs, the cat instinct to chase kicks in.

You can’t just “get away from 2 cheetahs” by lying low, the jackal knows the the cheetah wouldn’t dare attack him as the jackal could deliver serious bite, something that would stop the cheetah from ever running again. The jackal played its cards well

@@d3m1g0d4 Later, the cheetah 🐆 ended up with a serious case hairball after fighting. Since it had to be taken to the park vet and was near death, this one was counted as a draw.
Seemed like they are hitting pretty hard with their front legs. I think they are strong considering the speed and acceleration they have to handle.
Hell yeah they are strong animals even though they are not the biggest cat. A cheetah can still be pretty big.
I'll never forget when David Letterman had the male cheetah in his desk just sitting there and how big it looked, Letterman said it was one of the very few times he was actually scared with all of the animals he had on for years.

Jackal was putting its body in a lower position showing Submissive Posture. But cats are cats, big or small they like to chase and play with their prey, sometimes cats can get too aggressive, even if they get bored and walk away. Poor Jackal, he is so afraid for his life and must be in pain. You could hear him scream in fear and pain. My heart goes out to him.

It was almost cartoonish how the cheetahs would paw slap the jackal he would yell and fall over the cheetahs would stand around and look at each other then they would all start scurrying along and it would start all over again😂😂

That's the normal posture of a jackal when being attacked.

The arched back is typical of a scared jackal, and I'm guessing its keeping its head down is to stop the cheetahs going for its throat. Quite smart if you ask me. The cheetahs couldn't strangle it without risking a bite to the face.
