One thing I noticed was that she really seemed to want to keep Scotland on lockdown. She might take you off lockdown, but within two to three weeks, she'd put you back on lockdown. I wondered what was going on. But I look at what is going on in the US, and we are every bit as bad, but the UK, whether England or Scotland, you don't have a leader whose brain is basically gone. I doubt that he knows where he is most of the time. The clown show here in the US is pretty bad, on both sides of the aisle. Worldwide, we have to clean up our governments in all of its facets, as there is so much corruption.

However, there are instances when his discussions become overwhelming, plunging me into a state of melancholy that is difficult to shake. • Not just the politicians, its also the other professional liars and fact fudger all over in positions of some influence, but especially in the 'news' media - they are at least as guilty if not more so in frequently turning absolutely nothing or statements of absolute but unpleasant fact into a media circus and hunt for particular scalps that entirely disrupts 'normal' operations. Sometimes the politician/celebrity/union/company might need to be exposed and held to account, but how you do it matters, and who you don't do it too is just as telling. Publishing lots of noise even if its not that hard to disprove chunks of it starts to make your noise 'true'. Also in the world right now the UK has way more things we should be hearing on the news often but are not - We have strong communities from many nations, people we should value for their often generations long contributions but who's relations are suffering and have been for years. And many of these people we have some not all that distant historic responsibility for... But when was the last time you heard anything about HongKong for instance?

And they deserve everything they get if they do As a non Scottish person I hope they get independence and have to pay their own way through their own utter stupidity

    • Soft on crime is part of the agenda. Crises of all kinds are developed so the public focus on them as other control and power legislation is passed under the radar while the masses try to protect themselves both physically and financially as just getting by becomes harder for the average individual/family.

    • What about the UK problem from UK government? That is an humongous well planned and implemented situation created by the Tories Seeking and wanting independence is not wrong there is nothing bad about independence many countries have obtained independence. I am Scottish and I will not have unionist stating I hate my country. You are out of order. I love my country and I repeat seeking independence does not make a person hate their country and somehow a unionist love there country ridiculous conclusion. Be it seeking independence or not seeking it no opinion has favour over the other. Nor has more value. The political party that is destroying the union is not SNP it is the Tories UK government. Now there is going to be big changes in a short while with N Ireland plenty more to come will follow. Wales are grumbling and Scotland very unhappy. 3 out of the 4 nations all can not be wrong. Are we all haters? Now Oliver is so caught up with his bias and hate for SNP therefore truth is not told from him. What is he going to say about the 3 nations that are wanting out and out will come. Oliver says nothing but rhetoric. He can sell it as will UK government but many Scots are not buying it nor will N Ireland and Wales. Time is the factor here tick tock

  • How true. We have a Scottish Government who treats the majority of Scots nationals as second class citizens to be targeted to pay for the nutty concepts of what a progressive Scotland should look like. They have ignored the basic job of government distribute taxes for health, education quality, economic opportunity, government cost reductions etc. More than ever our finest young minds are leaving Scotland for better opportunities elsewhere.

    • Not rubbish, we have a so called “education” system that shows the film Braveheart as a factual document as part of the syllabus and are more concerned about if a pupil should be called “he, she or it” than teaching them to read write and add up. Is it any surprise that the few young people who manage to gain qualifications look elsewhere. The Scottish Government have succeeded in “levelling up” pupil attainment not by raising the standard of all, but by lowering the standard of the silent majority. Many young people now see schools as dangerous places where the just try to survive, others see them as an extension of a disorganised and chaotic home life where they have chance to disrupt the education of others. The future of all countries lies in the hands of their young people and Scotland is letting its young people down.
