FYI- Covering your AC unit is a Bad idea. Those compressors require unrestricted air flow to function properly.
That’s what I thought too
@@JJ-ls4ej It looks to me like it is covered only on 2 sides. Wouldn’t that still give enough airflow?
Yes it does need good flow it won't last for a long time
@@sandracapps5543 Can do all sides as long as the unit has 18 inches of breathing room ✌❤🌍
@@DarkCrystal1960 Thank you. 🙂
A/C, Heat Pump: Check with Manufacturers about required clearance before placing ANYTHING near your Heating and Air Conditioning unit. There's a reason that it has grills and fans.
Same thing I was going to say they wouldn’t get proper ventilation with that around it !!!
That would however, be a great idea to hide unsightly trash bins.
Did you see the title? Common sense and the laws of physics don't apply to geniuses Or maybe she just likes having visits from her HVAC technician.
As an Electrician, I agree 1000% and if you don't give ME 3ft of clearance to work... I hate you. MORE than half my day is spent moving something the customer put in my way. Want to save money??? GIVE THE TRADES A CLEAR PATH!!!! Sooooory, been a long week.
Please edit this to where people know to never put a wall around an AC unit. Restricting the flow of air to the condenser can damage the system.
If you don’t seal the concrete blocks with a plant safe product they will suction off water from your plants - good for succulents but not so great for other types.
Thank You for such an EXCELLENT Tip! 😊👍👍💯💕🎉🎉
green spray paint followed by a light gloss clear and they'll look fine.
Seal the blocks with a plant safe product.
@@singingwindrider9881 There several out there. Check Chalk paint dealers like DIY or milk paint dealers. I painted and sealed the outside of my concrete planters with paint and sealer but I still have to check them often to prevent drying out of soil. I have three on my porch and it has been trial and error with different plants. I live in a very hot part of the South and concrete heats up very fast here. Also there is a decoupage liquid that is food safe - that might work inside the blocks. I don’t know.
Good tip. Concrete does work with some watering methods though. The dry-soak method of letting soil dry well before soaking thoroughly works well with porous pots. It's important to monitor closely if using the method in outdoor heat...but a lot of plants thrive this way. I have huge geraniums and begonias that bloom year-round this way.
Once again, wish you would put the links to the full videos in description.
Trying searching what you are lookin for and the original channel might come up..
True that 💯 They could easily get more views by doing so, without wasting one's time speed searching n watching 5 min here or there on various videos. Giving us a time stamped link in the description wld solve our stress n dilemma and wld gather them a full viewed video
They are all on home talk page. They are so simple the few seconds videos show every thing you would need to see or kno . Nonetheless Pretty self explanatory.
These diy's are great. One thing, it would be nice if these were slowed down and a tutorial done so that all of us could do it, as I am a very new diyer I love your channel and the above is the only thing I feel needs done is the above statement. Thanx for sharing.
They steal them DIY channels.. I recognize many of them.. most of those channels offer them slowed down with commentary.
Tap the top right corner. Click on the 3 dots for menu. Choose your video speed. Change anytime.

Put ur finger on the vid if using phone and stops the vid . I did that so could read the products used in a couple .
@@vegaschick4eva590 Thanx so much for the advice. I however am on my computer. I don't use my phone because it's too small for this. Also, I'm old so my site isn't as good as it used to be. I am truly grateful for y! your help. Thank you!!! 😊 HAPPY 🦃 and MERRY🎅🤶
If you try that mailbox thing ,in the south you better take a can of wasp spray with you every time you go to the mailbox!
And deer flies. 😅
Plan on fixing it in the spring if you live anywhere that it snows because those plow drivers don't care what the snow they're plowing hits. I've seen a few of these with busted boards on country roads. Might be OK if you live in an area where they don't drive fast when plowing.
I feel sorry for mail carriers who have to put mail in a box surrounded by flowers. Don’t people realize it attracts stinging insects?
I'm convinced our mail person eats cookies on their route. Zillions of ants greet me during the summer. I spray wasp spray every few days here in the south.
I live in the south so during the summer months, I place a fabric softener sheet in the mailbox. It keeps the insects away and my mail person happy 😃!
I could tell in under a minute, this is not Australian. Any real Aussie would know that letterbox is a snake motel lol.
Most parts of the US say it’s a bug habitat of various varieties 😅
A/c can’t get proper air flow. Check
Cockroaches loved my mums cinder block planters, they thought they were highrise apartments.
😅
The video was about putting the cinder block planter outdoors. Did you use yrs outdoors as well ?If so, how do you have 🪳 cockroahes outdoors?? BTW, That's a funny comment that the roaches thought the c.blocks were high-rise apartments..
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😳😳😳😳
Priceless…. 🤣🤣🤣
These are truly some great ideas if you own a home!
So what was the genius reason she put cinder blocks by her front door?
Exactly…
I'm guessing just to paint and put flowers in.
If she ever needs a door stop!
I saw one cinder block with flowers stuck in the holes. She had a mountain of blocks on the porch. Didn't really make much sense.
Tell us please then we will all know . There are some good ideas but they race over the finished item, especially the Stencilling ones , that I didnt get a good look at them. Please slow down.
Don't do anything to mailboxes.... It makes great places for wasps to nest and makes the mail persons day miserable when they get stung.
My first thought when I saw that was insects are gonna live in that.
In the Midwest they put up walls next to the box, to keep snowplow piles from knocking it over
Really like the garage door that was painted to look like wood. Really nice job.
Not everyone can pull that off. It takes an artistic eye.
Agreed. It was the only thing in this entire montage that was actually impressive.
When all that painted stuff is coming off it looks like a mess
BEAUTIFUL decor ideas except for the HVAC screen, these can VOID manufacturer's warranties and do more harm than good to your unit!!! Otherwise these are gorgeous decor choices!!
I think the mail box would block your view of oncomming traffic.
1:22 - I did something like that to my garage door but was sunrise design😁I wanted real windows but because of new code rule they not make them with windows anymore..so I decided to paint them on😁I just finished when a neighbor walked by and notice my new garage door..she said she liked my windows..I said i painted them on..she was not believing me! So she went over and actually touched the painted parts!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
U really need ur own cable channel. My God the ideas you put into reality is outstanding!!!! Thank you much.
The title should've DYI projects.
Love the paint with the block numbers /address , patio paint w stencil, the blue door& the cinder block: genius!
I'm just really amazed what you can do without breaking the bank... Truly amazing DIY video 😍🤩👍🏻 Thank you again! 🙋🏻♀️
Me too! So many good ideas, when I see them I think... "Duh" why didn't I think of that?? 😜
I think all your ideas are genius. Love your channel. Thanks for ideas . All self explanatory. Keep up the videos..
Loved the fence.can you give complete directions?
Love the painted deck and patio ideas. Some of the other ones would attract wasps and bees. Garage doors looked nice 👍🏻
I love the multi level crate planter and the floating fountain idea!👍😀
Loved the simple black paint on the garage doors. Makes it look like windows. Im going to do this!!
OH MY!! These are INCREDIBLE!! I will be doing a few of these!! Luv the cinder block!! I have one plus I just ( Accidentally!!😏)broke to pieces two favorite planters I can use!! 😄💕💯👍👍
That space under your mailbox is for the bumper of the mail truck. So if it gets broken you’ll know why
Shame, those glazed planters were really nice before gunk was put all over them.
That's what I thought also.
I agree! I would like to make a few of these. Unfortunately I need measurements etc to make them.
This is a wonderful reminder that not everyone with paint and a nail gun is a designer.
Thanks for sharing all the great ideas! Our A/C Guy said a surround for your unit was ok if given 1 1/2' to 2' clearance all the way around!
Annie sloan has outdoor paint?
Music to loud
Wow! All your amazing projects!
She works so fast i would like to hire her for projects!
it’s sped up…
Think I would just buy a wood door and save 20000 hours and 1300 in paint and supplies lol Good job though impressive
This is a good time of year to work on the free-standing projects, to have them ready for spring. OR for cutting wood, etc. , to size to be ready in the spring.
I love cinderblocks. I use them for several different things.
What! This is the best Hometalk DIY I've seen.
Really great ideas. I envy people that have the vision for these ideas absolutely brilliant.
These comments are gold! So much great insight and practical advice on these projects
Was the garage door sticking at all when you opened it? I seen paint on the edges. Looks nice
Love all the ideas! Keep them coming 👍
As I'm sure many others have mentioned, the finished project is shown for a mere blip. Blink and you miss it. Maybe leave it for a second (or two) more please?
It's really sad how much time was spent
Loved each project😊
Sure wish i had such a productive woman woman helper. She is simply genious....
"She"? There are a bunch of different people doing all the different projects; it's not all the same person
A lot of resourceful ideas. Love it
Love 💕 a lot of these wonderful inexpensive ideas!
It would be nice to have tutorials on your projects. A supply list and name of the place where you bought supplies. This fast-moving video doesn't help if you want people to replicate your projects.
Some great DIY projects you put together. Thank you so much for sharing.
OUTSTANDING VIDEO! THIS MAKES ME WANT TO GET BUSY WITH LOTS OF PROJECTS!!!
Brick= universal key to any home..
So creative, I like all of your projects

I loved that garage door!!!
Loveeeee This Fantastic Ideas Well Done 👍
WoW! I'm going to use a few of these ideas! Especially the one with the Sun windows on the garage - Hubby wanted that style & I HATE it lol...Now that I know they can be removed & styled to the garage door I had in mind in the first place...Hopefully I can convince "him" to make it happen...love your ideas
Don't need his permission. Just do it. :)
Team work makes the dream work!!
@Charlie M she's not saying that, she wants him to do the work not her.
@@charliem.7492 Yeah, don't take your spouse's opinions into consideration. Do whatever you want, right? You might not like it if the roles were reversed.
@@charliem.7492 husbands and wives don't always agree but it's wiser to work together as a team. You may not always get your way but it makes for a stronger relationship and peaceful home.
Please tell us what kind of paint/sealer for each different item! Ty!
Great inventions ❤️ Very cool Ideas
Great ideas!!
I can’t put anything like that over the back door. Birds would build nests on it.
So creative and beautiful
I really like the front porch
Great video so great content I love the cement block
When you click on a home talk video all you get is a lot of commerical and a heavy edited video that has a bunch of out of touch ideas.
Felicidades genial 👌😜🤗
Some great ideas 💡
Nice result !
Awesome Ideas....
Great ideas
Forgot to add to previous comment, before wasting paint on cement surfaces, please make sure there is a vapor barrier under it! Unfortunately, the paint will peel off quickly, I learned this the hard and expensive way! I finally put down Outdoor carpet on mine as it becomes extremely slippery when the Humidity is high as it is in PA. summer!
Cool video. Wasn't expecting all these ideas
Great ideas.
❤️ LOVE IT!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Would have been nice to see each product individually. Sorry. 👎
Love the music ☺️
Adorable!!!! 💯❤️❤️❤️
Great ideas!
She's Good, wow❣️
👌 Awesomely 😍 Lovely
I like all of the ideals
Now this was cool !
Paint on the floor should be designated "floor paint," otherwise it will wear off.
Oh my gosh you're like Wonder woman! Keep up the good work. Have a blessed day.
Great video
Awesome 😃😃👏👏👍👍
I really wish you would have shown that last part of the painted concrete drive a little longer.
Might try the stenciled rug look on my broken concrete patio till it can be replaced!😢
So hmm the wire fence stuffed with rocks... how much were the rocks?
Simply amazing work I need a woman like her.😉
I’m worn out just watching all this! 😆
So adorable luv it TFS 🙏🙏🙏👋🚴💐🌻❤️🌺🌸
Awesome 👍
You are real artist with a good taste 👍
