We're back with calming art processes! This is the long version of a recent video that can be found here: • Making Paints and Sket...
I made these paints and sketchbooks as a holiday gift for some dear friends.
💧TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 - cutting the paper
4:47 - prepping the paper
17:42 - poking holes
22:02 - binding the sketchbooks
33:58 - finishing touches for the books
38:35 - making the watercolor paint
56:07 - wrapping the gifts
💧Disclaimer: Many have asked for longer versions of my past videos without any music or talking. I know some may find that this is not a true ASMR video, however I have been asked in the past to include ASMR in the title and description of the video to caution those who are sensitive to auditory sensory overload. Hope y'all understand. Also, this video is not meant to be instructional. If you would like to know more about coptic stitching for bookbinding, I recommend @SeaLemonDIY and if you would like to know more about paintmaking, I recommend @arleebean !

    • I've been watching "True ASMR" for years and have gone almost completely tingle immune. I have stumbled on these types of videos, though, that I could literally just watch for hours to relax. It's in a category of its own and I love it. Thank you!!

    • This is ASMR. There just happens to many different triggers for different people. I hate mouth sounds and whispering in ASMR videos and unfortunately a lot of people think that's all there is to it, oh and with the aggressive tapping. This video could be true ASMR because of how natural it is

  • This is truly wonderful, but I'd like to take a moment to appreciate that this lady makes a highly pigmented, dark colour paint wearing a pale beige long sleeve sweater! How? How on earth can one be so careful and so precise?! That is the true art that I'm in awe of! I'm an eternally messy worker - the paint would be all over me, the curtains and the cats!

The colours are so peaceful and the beautiful view from the window is just lovely. I especially LOVE EVERY SOUND of cutting or sewing or folding. I love her whole process and her precision.
