  • Big fan Mark, you guys down under are hysterical ;) Welcome to the Varroa world, it sucks. You need the new battery operated vaporizer. It allows you to hit the hives with 4 grams (recommend) . Once you have them, forget checks, just treat all the time. As a guy who removes feral colonies, especially when it's a messy hive: 1) Get "honey bee gone". To run Bees .Probably another brand in your country 2) Bees will repurpose new comb. 3) Watch US removers (lol) 4) Get the battery operated vacuum, a must to knock population down 5) Queen is everything! When you knock the numbers down you can keep chasing her back to hide. Clip, put in box come back at sunset. 6) Comb needs to be placed in frames with the right cell orientation. 7) When you see abandoned comb, it has been usually sprayed. Wax moths would have dissolved. 8) Why would you leave the other colony there? That would have been an easy one. 9) Get a real suit! 3 layer vented! That one is useless. 10) Enough on this one, love ya guys!

  • Love your stuff and bought some honey from you a while back it tasted like raisins! So tasty! You've got to learn how to go slowly and be quieter when doing bee removal/relocation because you're making alot of loud noise, banging stuff around and moving too quickly so the bees view you as a threat. You may have a better chance at getting most of the bees this way and much more efficient for you. I would recommend putting the brood comb in the bee box first and leaving it until morning so it's less manual labor of you moving them yourself?

  • This has got to be one of my favorite videos you got and also the fridge honey video, but this one you originally named it Mr. Hubbard’s cupboard, but these are just entertaining.

  • You could always get one of those lithium iron battery packs like people take camping to use your bee vac in case you have not yet gotten one of the battery power bee vacs

  • I wonder if bees in his area ever take a break like ours in Canada where it gets too freaking cold. I realize not all of Australia has the same climate but he seems to be in an area where there is no snow and the previous video I watched of his said it was 23...which I gather would be our winter or cold season. Might have to do some research I guess. It seems to me they are putting out possibly older videos. He usually comments to the 1st few and I'm not seeing that. Hope they all are o.k. but me having a motto of 'shit happens....often and constantly' I wonder, or is that just my life....

    • This is just how it goes sometimes, here in Australia where the bees can be murderous and you might be hours away from home or any resources.
