The episode is a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges, from initial optimism to unexpected setbacks. Watch as they navigate through paperwork, ingeniously solve problems with the truck, and ultimately face the reality of mechanical failure.
Alongside the adventure, "The Bush Bee Man" shares insights into beekeeping history with Les, a beekeeping veteran with experience dating back to 1940. This episode is not just about a truck; it's a tale of persistence, beekeeping heritage, and the unpredictable nature of reviving the old into something new. Will the truck make it home, or will this journey have a different ending? Watch to find out!

  • I love that you always remain so upbeat and positive despite things literally blowing up in your face. It's a huge reason watching your content makes for an enjoyable experience, something one can relax to and smile when eating ramen for the 4th time in a row this week. =)

  • My god, you can date how old this footage is by the price of fuel haha. Would love to see fuel drop to those prices right now.

  • I really don't know what to say, but I'll try. There's about a dozen things which perhaps should have been done before the key went anywhere near the ignition. Unfortunately, it's probably a bit too optimistic to set out in any diesel vehicle which is leaking coolant. etc. etc. It's a pity, because that engine sounded sweet when you first started it up, and had you found the leak and fixed it, you'd probably have a perfectly serviceable truck. The analogy I suppose would be starting a beekeeping career by simply walking up to a hive, wearing your summer clothes and taking the lid off to see what goes on inside. You needed a mentor.

  • @21:00 smoke behind your left shoulder. NOT Good. 🪰 Possibly why some mechanics call 'em "Miserable - Bitchiies" So Mark - Give it your best shot to get Les' truck back to show room shape. I'll be watching whilst cheering you on. Joe S in Idaho and Alaska
