  • I just got here because of the tumbnail... I mean, let's be honest, it's not that common to see a black male or female in korean TV, so basically I watched this because of curiosity... But GOD, this was so emotional and the talent this dude has... I can't. Redditor 3khnng gave his own explanation: “From looking up the original rendition and just interpreting the context and meaning of the song as described by OP, it seems like the original songs verse of “We may smile but we don’t have any other choice” ends in a minor key to convey the deep grief and pain associated to the bandmates suicide. Joseph, a majored in Koreans Studies, graduating with honors, in addition to being in a Korean band, he song that and pronounced the words perfectly, where only Koreans can sing and pronounce the words in that manner.
