    • Not really DJ Jay is something that anybody can pick up and become an expert in if they are talented enough. You can be bjj black belt after like 3-4 weeks if you’re smart.

    • Well yeah, I'm sure they had a pre match agreement for Cowboy to not rip the ground and pound and Craig to not rip heel hooks. They were both still very active at the time and getting injured meant losing money. This was obviously a match for fun.

  • Donald Cerrone has practicing Jiu-Jitsu for well over a decade. People really underestimate how much time mixed martial artists put into a variety of disciplines, but alot of these guys have dedicated years of their lives to developing their ground game. Plus they are wrestling college and even olympic wrestlers.

    • The rules of CJJ only permit open hand slaps or strikes when one or both competitors are on the floor. The fighter on the ground does not commit a foul if they swing strikes or up kicks on their opponent. However, punches, elbows, and knees are fouls in the game. simple google search will tell you these things

  • Buggy from full mount looks crazy. Seems actually useful in mma. They won’t really be able to strike you. They will try for a slam. Gives you time to let go and get a scramble. These guys got paid to have fun. Craig taking it easy on bjj and cowboy taking it easy on striking. This looks like a ufc open workout.
