@@saneenmuhammedthe same was for me. I had also tight budget. Bought it second-hand 3 months ago for just 1000 euros. Mine has 17.3 inch display. The most things I like about it - design (it's not so complicated and it looks like simple office laptop), keyboard (really solid for laptop) and its silence. Comparing to my friend's laptops - MSI cyborg and Acer nitro - my Lenovo is the quietest and MSI is like a vacuum cleaner XDD

Hey man, I just ordered the same cooling pad for my Lenovo Legion 5, what settings (fan speed of the gt500 and laptop's fan speeds) do you use? I heard you can damage the laptop fans with this cooler 😅
@@mazqu1ck Normally between I would say 50% and 100% I've used 100% a lot for nearly 6 months and I have had no issues with the fans

I have the same laptop but my CPU reaches 100c while playing games which also causes my GPU to throttle. I cant change thermal paste cuz the screws are incredibly tight so im left with software solutions. Disabling turbo doesn't help as much either as the CPU still reaches high temps (up to 95C) which still causes my GPU to throttle.
Cleaning the fans will make a huge difference I wouldn't be too afraid to unscrew however you can also just buy the cooler I used the IETS GT500 which is insanely powerful
Can you tell me what kind of thermal paste you use for this laptop? I got 90c - 95c temperature on my processor. When I put liquid metal it was 80-85
I genuinely don't think that liquid metal is that good for laptops. I would recommend a thermal paste that is very dense, try phobya hegrease or arctic mx-6, you will see much better results I think.
You have any video tutorial upgrading the ram to dual channel or kind of what ram to buy cs i just got the same laptop and its my first gaming laptop.

Yeah the CPU is a huge bottleneck if a game requires insane CPU performance I would recommend going with Intel it is better for gaming

Depends on the game can't say some games are better like BF2042 and others worse like Warzone 2

@@finnbenchmarksIts definitely not worth it yet. 40 series laptops are much more expensive then 30 especially with all the discounts. For example an rtx 4060 laptop is generally 100-200 bucks more expensive than an rtx 3070 with 10% more fps. Dlss 3 is nice but dlss 2 is perfectly enough. Especially when you can't or shouldn't use dlss in many games. Amds fsr doesn't use physical compute units so it can be used with any type of gpu. Meaning if you plan long term you can just use fsr 3 or 4 later down the line.

Depends on the game if it is CPU heavy then your GPU wattage will go down

A 4000 series laptop the 4060 is similar in performance but will have a better CPU, RAM, Storage, etc.

@@farhangh3577 I would wait for a better deal a 3070 Ti isn't going to power newer games at 1440p you'd have to make a lot of sacrifices. Jarrod's Tech has a video about the power limit of 4000 series laptops, and it doesn't seem to make a difference between a high power and low power one. 3070 GPU is better but the intel CPU in the gigabyte is better I'd recommend a 3070 Laptop with an intel CPU unless you really want DLSS 3 then go with the 4060

The 3070 does seem to have a slightly higher score in timespy but I would still go with the 4060 it's close enough and getting a newer CPU/DDR5 is just better in the long run

Bro. Legion Has 2k resolution. The performance of the rtx 3070 is a bit stronger but the CPU is much weaker, though I still prefer the legion to it having 2k resolution

I've realized with CP2077 that the benchmark is VERY inaccurate every time I do a benchmark I get a different result although your ram can also be the issue
