  • One of the best shows I've had the privilege of watching. He's absolutely generous with his gift. No other artist will give you 5 encores.

    • catalina I love Prince. But, he seemed to give his very best performances when he knew he had a huge audience and knew he was being filmed. Not every concert was a long concert. I saw him in Tacoma in 2011 and the concert that night was barely 90 minutes long with one encore. He was human and he could of had an off night that, I guess

    • I saw Prince back in 2004 or 2005 in what was the Meadowlands in New Jersey. He had no opening act and did 3 sets, with the second set being acoustic, just Prince and a guitar. He was truly amazing to see. And everyone in attendance was given his latest full CD at the time upon entry. Always a class act.

  • Every time that I watch this cat I'm almost moved to tears. He loved music and performing so much, and he was full of life as a result of this. This was an amazing performance! That guitar solo was fuckin' phenomenal! PRINCE was one the greatest guitar players in music history! I would put him second after the great JIMI HENDRIX on my top 50 listing of guitar legends.

  • It was a privilege growing up as a teenager in the 80s. We may be getting older and many our icons are gone but we got to experience the likes of Prince, MJ, run DMC and awesome hairbands. Compared to the computer generated crap today I say we were the lucky ones! Music is vessel that takes you back to a time, place or event. What a vessel we as children of the 80s have!

    • Let’s get this straight right now. Prince was a very good entertainer and had a good voice. He also had a huge stage presents with very talented dancers and back of musicians with another guitar player who Prince stated was better than himself. Prince was not a great guitar player. He admitted that himself.

  • I think the audience was in awe of Prince not snubing him at all. Billy Gibbons of ZZ TOP said he couldn't believe his eyes when as he watched Prince perform. Eric Clapton said Prince is the GOD of the guitar not I. What does that tell you???? The man was a PHENOMENAL guitarist in every since of the word!!!!! Rest easy BEAUTIFUL ONE. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

  • Play the WHOLE set. It was killer. Sign O’ The Times, Lets Go Crazy, Soul Man/Kiss. That set was better than the While My Guitar Gently Weeps portion, imho. It doesn’t get much mention though. Only Prince can outshine Prince. 😂

    • In my opinion the so called people who make these decision on who is the best guitar players opinion don't really matter, it's the fans and record, concerts sales, longevity is what really matters. Even in death he is still the greatest and his fans say so, that is better cause if he was alive today, his concerts would be packed out.
