    • Congrats bro I’m down a lot of weight and my best tip is don’t try and make drastic changes don’t just cut out everything from your diet at once that made me fail so many times but if you recognize the daily bad habits that are bad just slowly lessen them. Like I use to eat a whole meal at like 12 at night of whatever we had like ice cream. But I went from eating half a quart to just less or make it something healthier which is what I did and just made a lunch meat sandwich legit meet cheese low cal bread and low cal sauce and that alone saved me like 1000 calories every night because I wasn’t hungry I just wanted to wet something (this is a major one obviously)

    • Aside from the fact that the food is disgusting, if you have the will, this is the way. You need to hunker down and just go through with it. Eventually you will get used to it. Body has to eat. It takes a while to get used to though. And it's very easy to fall back into old habits. You have to stay focused.

  • One thing that I have to learn to get used to is stomaching the extra cost of the healthier options. Sometimes, it's like 10x the cost of the regular version. Every time I put one of those into my cart, my chest hurts a little from the financial blow. But I gotta learn to change my mindset because the cost of good health is priceless. A half-loaf of Keto bread is the price of 5 whole loaves. It's insane.

  • Sam is so relatable, easy to listen to and wholesome... I am concerned for him though, I really don't want to see him end up like Rich or Zyzz, I'm hoping there is a transitional story coming up in his character arc where he achieves the goals he always wanted to, and then maintains his sphere of influence in a way that gives his body some much deserved rest.

  • Making one more comment on this video because I love this guy and I have always been a fitness fanatic. I remember watching a science video video about how the human body metabolizes energy. Basically it comes down to two basic things if you want to get really basic. Carbohydrates burn like paper or kindling in a fire. Fats burn more like the big logs that you would put on to burn all night. Protein is in there somewhere like the component that actually strengthens the woodstove that’s burning everything. That’s a super simplified version, but I hope it helps
