Mazda wins most annoying commercial.
hello scotty, I remembered in one of your videos you are not a fan of mitsubishi, may I know why?

Mazda, baby. I was a loyal Toyota/Honda driver for decades. In January I decided that both new cars I was looking to buy, the RAV4 and CR-V weren’t worth the money they were asking ($40,000+). My wife and I settled on a Mazda CX-5 and we couldn’t be happier. It was built in Japan and drives absolutely beautifully. We even like the ride quality and handling better than both the Toyota and Honda, and the cabin is quieter too. Oh yeah, it was also $10K cheaper! Go Mazda!!!!!
Yes indeed We have a 2016 and a 2023 CX-5 We are also happy with ours
Getting a CX90
I also am a very satisfied CX-5 driver. Bought a 2016 model new in late 2015. 2.5 liter non-turbo, 6-speed auto. At 100K miles, it's just started using a quart of oil as I come up to the 5k miles and have the oil changed. Not a muscle car but it's got plenty of go to merge and cruise at 80 without breathing hard. Hardly any repairs so far. What else could I want?
@@deanmccormick8070 awesomeness A CX-50 would be nice

I just found this guy yesterday. Im not in the market to buy a car. I dont know anything about cars. But man, this guy is entertaining. I just keep watching his videos to hear him talk lol. I drive a 2011 CRV that I bought last year with 56k miles on it from my grandmother who gave up driving due to old age. I love it. Hopefully I get it to over 200k miles before I want to buy something else.
Scotty is the best! That crv will go just about as long as you need, just change the oil.😎
We love Scotty
You might have to sell it to your grandson😂😂😂
Easily get 300
It will easily get to 200,000 miles.
It’s a shame US vehicles can’t compare in build quality with Japanese manufacturers. Those people have a very detailed work ethic. Something this country lost a long time ago sadly.
This country is a terrible place to live. I don’t know why people keep moving here.
American companies are to greedy to be fair. And truly give you your money's worth.
It's always management, the workers want quality, but management just talks about it!!! Don't stop a production line due to a quality problem, oh no!! 😱
@@undihog No need to get snarky and off-topic. I would much rather take a CX5 built in Japan than an overpriced American car made by UAW workers who have gone on strike more times in my life than I can count.
@rawsomeone1 it's the big wigs that get that big money and big bonuses for cutting everyone's throat. All they way down to the customer's.
I've owned Honda and Toyota and loved them both. But things change and a couple of years back when I got the CX5 it didn't have any competition. With all that said it only matters if you are happy with your car. Just because I chose Mazda doesn't mean I don't have mad respect for Toyota and Honda.
Honda is basically a tank. I own a Honda Accord 1999 automatic transmittion made in UK. That baby may have many faults due to an old age but it still rolls like on butter. Those fabrick seats are top notch. No sign of wear and tear. Oil is basically not disappearing at all if I change it regularly. That car even speeds up pretty nice. One thing I do hate is the bad outside noise cancellation. Overall, I love my Honda.
My 7th gen Accord brings me smiles when I floor it 😁
My pal and I both have Honda Elements from 2004,2011 and with over 200k miles, both run very well with very few troubles.
I too used to be a loyal Toyota owner. But, when I went to trade in my 2009 Matrix on a 2023 Corolla Hatch, I found out all the Corollas had CVT trannies. So, goodby to Toyota. Wound up buying a 2023 Mazda 3 Hatch. I absolutely love it. Corners like it's on rails accelerates like a rocket.
Change the oil !
I have been a Subaru guy for 20 years and they have never let me down in the winter. Great cars.
What about the other 3 seasons? Assuming you don't live in Manitoba.
@@DE-qk7fj They let him down in the summer 😂
They're pretty much a Colorado essential.
Best car in snow..but I drive an Avalon in the winter in Maine and I have never been stuck in the snow. I’m in sales so I’m on the road year round. My Outback wore out a lot of brakes.
Poor you. You've never had a Quattro. Subapoo sucks. Tin cans.
Subaru doesn't fix what's not broken. Their cars are very consistent and generally get better every year because they focus on incremental improvements to hardware systems. They have been using the SAME boxer engine for decades. The SAME all-wheel drive system. They tweak and refine things that already work well. Most car companies try to do more than they can do well.
Yep, quality over quantity 👍
You're saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Well eventually all of them have to try new tech.
@@metalmike570 Right, but subaru keeps their main systems a long time. Before the 2.5, subaru used mostly 1.8 (I think) for around a decade or so (I think)

I was deciding between a CX 30 Mazda and a Subaru Cross Trek. I went with the cx30 due to listening to Scotty! Only reason was the cvt transmission was on the cross trek and the cx30 had a normal transmission. Scotty is the real reason o chose the cx30! I do love the car and have no regrets. The cross trek is a nice looking vehicle also!
I got a cvt v6 Nissan just waiting until it goes but still holding in my ownership from 26k miles to 58k no slipping changed transmission fluid at 28k n 56k

Went to the dealer to buy a new Toyota Corolla in 2005, dealer talked me out of the Corolla and threw me the keys to a new Suzuki Swift. That Suzuki is hands down the best car we have owned. Its got 400,000 on the clock and still going as strong as the day we drove it off the showroom floor.
About 12 years ago I bought a 2006 Suzuki swift and man I loved that car so much! It drove so smooth and zero issues. I was really sad letting it go because I wanted a bigger car but I still think about cookie ( the name I gave her) to this day!!
I had a Subaru Leone wagon back in the early 90's in Australia. Apart from blowing CV's regularly it was bullet proof. The next three cars I bought were also Subaru's because of this. I welded a roo/bull bar on it and rigged up a snorkel for river crossings ( had to hold it out the window when driving) it just never gave up.
Snorkel?! Bro what. Please tell me more.

My 2005 Mazda 3 is running just as well today as it did when new. I’ve only had to replace one sensor in all that time. Probably the best car I’ve owned, with my Honda CRX a close second. My wife’s 2008 Camry was great except for excessive oil consumption which got progressively worse over time. If not for that, we would still have it.
I had the same car. After 10 years in Canada, it was a complete rust bucket and unsafe to drive.

"There's a butt for every seat." If one car was perfect for everyone, we'd all be driving that one car. Thank goodness that isn't the case. I sold Subaru and they are GREAT cars. However, if I was was buying a reasonably priced car, my order of preference would be... Toyota Honda Subaru Mazda For northern climates: Subaru is #1

I'm stuck right now looking at awd SUVs I'm looking at RAV4, Mazda, lexus, I guess now Subaru Might be a look
We’ve owned Japanese cars for decades. Even bought old ones for the kids. We’ve had mixed luck with Subies. Outbacks have been the best. The Impreza and Foresters have had water pump and gasket issues. . I’ve owned many 626s and Mazda 6s. Loved them but recently bought a AWD Camry and it’s been great. Still miss the Zoom Zoom. Had many of the original RAV4s with well over 200k miles. Highlander was the smoothest running vehicle we ever owned. Owned original CRVs and Pilots. They had a little more pick up than the RAV4s. Unfortunately the new gen CRV already had to replace injectors in the Earth Dreams (Nightmares) engine with 75k.
"The Impreza and Foresters HAD water pump and gasket issues". There - fixed it for ya.
@@eskieman3948 nope. I had to replace an engine in the forester. The Impreza went for scrap
I think Scotty forgets that Toyota has a large stake in Subaru. In fact you can find Toyota and Denso parts in Subarus these days. My best friend has a 2015 Forester and his Starlink system is almost identical to my 2016 Rav4 Entune system. So I think if you want to not get a Toyota but still want the reliability of one or close to it, you can’t go wrong with a Subie.
True, they do own a 25% stake in Subaru now. They've partnered to help Subaru with EV technology and have shared tech and platform in vehicles, but their engines are their own. Subaru still uses their boxer motors exclusively and asymmetrical AWD in every vehicle except the BRZ which is built on the Toyota rear wheel drive platform with a boxer engine.
Subaru is definitely underrated
For sure. My Crosstrek is absolutely amazing.
I love my 2015 Subaru Forester. CVT transmission still works great. Best winter driving car I’ve ever owned. No breakdowns or check engine lights yet. Just oil changes and I put a new battery in it.
Make sure to change your CVT fluid every 60k miles
@@SteveMellen yep 👍 it only has 30,000 miles on it now.

We have owned 9 Subaru’s since 1983. Subaru #9, an Ascent LTD, suffered CVT failure at 44K miles, 2 years of ownership. It quit 1 month after receiving the NHTSA CVT Recall notice which stated no fix for 5 months…& there was a subsequent Subaru CVT Recall. That was our last Subaru…we now drive Toyotas exclusively.

Scottie…we traded our 2016 RAV 4 for a 2018 Crosstrek. Best thing we ever did with a car. Bought the RAV in a pinch and hated it after the first real snowy highway drive. The AWD system was horrible compared to our Subaru Outback. Slip and grip AWD just ain’t as good as the symmetrical AWD. We now have the Crosstrek and a 2022 Forester.
I don’t know why people think the rav is the best thing ever. I’m looking to get rid of mine I hate it! 2021 AWD I’ve had it for 2 winters and it has let me down multiple times I’m done!
Glad I didn’t buy a newer rav4 then, I have a 2010 and it drives flawlessly and effortlessly in the snow and it’s just a FWD, but I also got, all season tires and that’s helped a ton
All you had to do was change the tires!
@@metalmike570 Seems they traded the reliability for AWD, because that’s what most Subarus are known for, their good off road and have great AWD but need a ton of maintenance and might be in the mechanic shop more often

Our family car was a 1987 Mazda 626 Turbo 2door. I remember getting my learners permit and my parents realized they messed up. 😂 it was so cool. I remember my dad driving it out of the showroom doors thinking, Im driving this in a few years😮
I had 2018 SE RAV-4. I got stuck all the time with it. Very poor AWD system. It also drove like a lumber wagon. It pitched and rolled down the highway. Gas milage was around 25 mpg, which I didn't mind. It was expensive at over $36,000. I traded it off. It had good resale value. I don't trust any new vehicles today, and lease 100 % of the time now. Glad to see your tune has changed some, as time goes on. Regards!
My favorite, the 2003 Honda CR-V. Had 2 in red, and now I own 2 in blue and green colors.
WHy do yo get pairs?
@metalmike570 I don't get pairs. Lol. I had one in red that lasted until 283,000 miles. That one was replaced with another one with 170, 000 and lasted until 230,000 miles, until my kid totaled it. I then bought two, a green one with 112,000 miles and a blue one with 190,000 miles.

Hi Scotty, did you review already the ford explorer 94, hope can see your next videos, thank you. From Philippines, Followers 🥰🇵🇭
Theses beauti covers are for cold weather, so the engine cools off slower so that the elements don’t crack in a long roll. I had Volvo 2.0D that didn’t have engine cover on, I had to change excess fuel line every year and almost at the same time for 3 years, then I bought the cover for the engine and now it’s been 2 almost 3 years with no issues. So it has a use after all 🤷🏼♂️😉
For the money, a Mazda gives a better value if the interior is important. I have a 2016 CX 5 and just regular maintenance at 84k miles keeps it running well
My Mazda had SO MANY problems. 2014 Mazda6. Thermostat going out early, Having to shift my automatic gear selector into park several times in a row before the car would recognize it was supposed to be in park, and then worst of all: Issues from the factory. A false check engine light appeared due to an issue with the ECU programming from the factory (Mazda released a bulletin saying the fix is to pay for a dealership ECU reprogram). I also had issued with misfires; another bulletin which stated my VIN used non standard ignition coils, instead using a cheaper off-brand which were known to cause misfires in the engine.
In 2014 that was Ford, not Mazda.
Once Mazda split from ford their quality and performance is far better than it's ever been before. 2016+ Mazdas have built a very good reputation

I’ve worked for all 4 Brands in fixed operations (parts and service). I agree with Scotty’s opinion. Toyota isn’t what it used to be. They all have their weaknesses, but Subaru is my favorite.
Toyota has some dirty secrets- rust, oil piston rings, electronics…. But I still love them
It's not really a question of one brand being better than the other, but the quality of dealerships. They make or break it for owners.

I used to own a 2015 Subaru Forester and just recently sold it and got a new Honda CR-V Hybrid AWD. Long term ownership of the Subaru Forester was terrible and expensive. It was expensive to maintain starting about on the 7th year. The repairs, replacement got more expensive. I do not know if it was the car or the dealership. Although we got got some financial help from Subaru USA (the company and not the dealership.)
I know that those engine covers are kind of goofy, but, from what I understand, they serve a purpose by helping direct airflow to the engine. I believe that they also have something to do with the way air flows beneath the vehicle. It is probably best to keep them on for that reason.
Wifes Mazda CX-5 had a crack in the head and then a broken frame weld about 5k into ownership. It was not a pattern failure, and they fixed the car for labor only on some of the work as it had to be outsourced. Like most I've owned a number of Nissan, Honda and Toyota products and was severely disappointed. I now own a Volvo S90L and have had zero issues with it even after some high-speed computer software upgrades from Hilton . Might cost more but less worry and a whole lot safer.
I bought a Mazda cx7 diesel brand new in 2011. Worst paint job with crappy clear coat issues. Timing chain now gone and it is a useless bucket of bolts sitting in my driveway. Wouldn’t touch one again. I hope that they are better now…..Toyota or Lexus seems to be the go. Kia and Hyundai also good here in Australia. Not too many happy Mazda people down under!

Always liked Subaru but head gasket made me nervous on used cars. What year did they switch to timing chain and figure out head gasket issue?
The head gasket issues were fixed 20 years ago and went to timing chains by 2008. I still have a 2006 Legacy I bought brand new which has a timing belt on it and it was really easy to change out, so it must not have been an issue with all of them. No matter what weather you're driving in nothing hugs the road like a Subaru!
I was in Japan in October, and they had the Mazda CX60 and I have to say that was a pretty sweet looking vehicle. Wish they had it in America, but sadly no
That will soon change when Mazda introduces a wider CX-70 variant
I wish Mazda would bring it here too!
I saw the CX60 hybrid, but I believe it is Mazda‘s first attempt at a hybrid system, plus it was about 15,000 more than I could spend. I did not want to be the guinea pig on a new hybrid system, and spend that much. Ifwe are talking about the same car.

I’m 80 years old and have owned at least 20 vehicles in my lifetime. I currently own a 2015 Hyundai Sonata hybrid that I bought new. I currently have over a 110,000 miles on it. It looks and runs like new. When new, I got about 48 mpg., now I get about 40 mpg because the hybrid battery is older and less able to run the EV mode for as long. Hyundai warrantied the hybrid battery for the life for the original owner. No other car company did this that I know of. I have yet to replace the brakes. The car has passed every inspection without any issues other than tire wear, and wiper blades. It’s comfortable, economical, stylish, reliable and durable. What more could you ask of any car?
02 Sub Fozzie. Just started with a "Class 2" leak... (military.. means a drop on the bottom).. only 230K miles! I'm gonna try that oil dye stuff Scotty talks about... Replacing Valve cover gaskets next week... if not that, then the head... but I kinda doubt it.. cause why now?? we'll find out. :). IDK, I gotta disagree with Scotty on the sub boxer timing belt. I did mine recently and it wasn't that hard.. but I strongly rec counting the teeth on the thing.. cause the marks are off!! I first put it on using the factory marks and "tap tap tap, helloo!".. luckily I marked the old one before removing it so I could just count and see. :). Love the channel... you are The Car Guru!
On the 2nd gen crv, there’s a good chance that the clunking sound in the suspension may be caused by the sway bar links rather than the control arms. I’ve seen a lot of people switching out the control arms more than the links and ta da…clunking noise is still there 😝
In this case, it looks like there's damage from an accident on the passenger side that's causing a metal-on-metal clunk.

But Fuji Heavy Industries was renamed to Subaru Incorporated in 2017, hence the switch from F to S. The third character is the production facility. Subarus production facility 2 is in Ota, Japan in Gunma province. So is production facilities 1 and 3. Production facility 1 is for the Impreza and Forrester lines. Production facility 3 only for transmission and engine assembly. ALL Subaru engines and transmissions are produced in Facility 3. The Crosstrek line is produced in Indiana, but with engines and transmissions from Japan (and the rear differentials too, but those are built by Nissan).
...and the steel braided CVT belt/chain is made in Germany by a clutch company 😮
Ask someone who’s owned an independent shop for 20-30 years about Toyotas reliability the last 6-8 years. Unfortunately their QC started slipping about 10 years ago and the last 2-4 years Subaru Mazda a couple of others have either caught Toyota or even surpassed them. One of the best examples is the Tundra. It was one heck of a HD 1/2 ton until they went the Ford route with a tiny V6 with turbos. It’s a real crap shoot the last few years no matter what brand you go with.😊
I recall a few stories that came out many years ago when Toyota overtook GM in global sales, MANY Toyota execs asked “at what cost” and mentioned a drop in quality.
Owned a few of both brands and tail gate mechanic for 15 years. Oh coarse I didn't get many of either of these brands and 50% were brake jobs, HVAC fans, radiators and the likes. Was working on an 08 Rav4 that a previous shop had failed in figuring out her brake problem. When I saw that master cylinder set up I was astonished. It was the worst POS design I have ever seen in my life. The entire braking system was very sub par. It seems that the old 20R was carrying Toyotas reputation more than anything and other brands have simply caught up. Except for Honda Motor Co.went from the best motors in the world to suddenly POS.
Funny thing - I recently switched to Corolla (2013-2016 kind) and while it is quite OK, there are signs they eventually will become the next VW. First odd thing is how messy are the designations: XI, E18, E180, E170 and production years. Different engines have almost identical symbols, but for example oil filter for 1ZR-FAE variant is different than for the same 1ZR-FAE engine, but from previous model. According to their own warranty terms, you shouldn't see any rust within 3 years, and any holes after 12 years. Maybe it sounds reasonable, but while this car feels like a new one, any look underneath, behind bumpers, or inside wheel arches just begs for fluidfilm. Oh, and it already had a busted AC condenser and sometimes misbehaving proximity sensors (and parking assistant depends on them).
@@ltwig476 yes 🙌 💯. I owned a 1975 Toyota Carina with a 20R. engine. Outstanding engine and car. 2200 cc if I remember correctly!
that makes no sense. Tech allows you to increase quality, increase power, and reduce permanent displacement so why would Toyota refuse to downsize?? Chevy went to a big 4-cylinder so don't single out Ford.
Up here in Canada, I've blazed trails through deep snow on a major highway in my '19 Crosstrek - while the Jeeps were tiptoeing their way behind me.
Picked my 2023 wagon 6 in nov Australia.THE BEST.sports model 2.5
I had no idea Mazda was good again, thanks for this video Scotty! Mazda is about to put ford and gm out of business. I'm going to find their smallest vehicle with that inline six, very well done because I do love my bmw 335i that has cost me a lot...
I hope Ford doesn't still own them 🤦🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
AMC pioneered AWD in the Eagle series. Sadly AMC was failing and couldn't build two cars the same with off the shelf parts. Eagles were great cars once you fixed their shortcomings.
I have a 2015 Mazda 3 sport 2.0 sky active, it currently has 178,000. So far, I have to replace most of the engine mounts as the rubber has rotted. I need new lower control arms, most of the issues are wear items.
Your good guy Scottie learn alot listening
I listen to Bluegrass and Gospel Music on Sunday Night and I am just now watching this. I can't walk very Good now and I don't drive anymore, but I enjoy watching Your Videos.
I have owned both Subaru, Forrester and Toyota RAV4. I like the Subaru Forester better because it has much better seating position for tall driver and the all wheel drive system works much better other than that they're pretty equal and both extremely reliable.
ergonomics is so important
Agreed. I'm 6'7" and the Forrester is hard to beat.
I find the interiors always smell bad...?
The gen1/gen2 rav4s were the best they were light and zippy but could handle their own off-road
so ik this wasn’t included in the video, but I have a 2006 mitsubishi eclipse gs (2.4) and that thing is bulletproof, 250k miles and going strong, the only thing i’ve done in 20k miles of driving it is the oil and transmission fluid changes.
The best car commercial I remember from my youth, and I'm now 57, was from Subaru. "How does the snow plow driver get to the plow?" Then you see a Subaru driving through the snow and sleet getting him to work.
That was a great commercial, but as I recall it was for a VW beetle...at least when I saw it in the 1960s.
@@carlrutledge3096yes I agree. VW was made even more famous by that commercial and others.
The head gasket issue is the biggest of all Subaru Crosstrek problems. This is one prevalent issue that many Subaru models encounter, despite their reputation for reliability. Since the 90s, Subaru has been battling this issue, yet it became one of Crosstrek’s problems years later. This problem is common on the larger 2.5L engine.CVT issues Customers experienced stalling, knocks, and shudders from the CVT.Among all Subaru Crosstrek problems, most of them are common only on older models. However, this problem is found even in the second-generation Crosstrek manufactured after 2018. The PCV valve prevents waste gases from building up inside the crankcase and allows waste gases to escape back into the intake system for re-burning; however, this valve is prone to damage.
People will argue that Subaru fixed the 2.5L head gasket problem years ago, but that's entirely untrue. People are still having issues with 2.5L Subarus. Someone online said they have this issue with their 2020 Outback. It's mind-boggling Subaru has not fixed this issue or scrapped this engine design yet in 28 years. That's insane!
Subaru is a nightmare. On my Subaru, the headgaskets blew every 7000 miles and it took over a month to get it repaired. And it really was never repaired correctly as the head gaskets blew again after 7000 miles. they could never tune the engine correctly as it continually sputtered and the repair service was not too happy about seeing the car come in just after it was supposedly repaired. finally i gave up and got rid of the car. I have had hondas since then and I can recommend the Honda car and engine.
@@user-oc4hu2ve1twhat year was your car?
Subaru seems to truly be underrated. The CVT issues of the past have been eliminated with timing chain update and cooling system tuned to lower gear. The head gasket problems go back to decade or older models and has long been corrected. These are the two things that you hear most subie naysayers still gripe about. Both issues resolved.
I have owned 3 Mazda's now (and my dad has owned 2 bullteproof reliable CX-5s throughout my life so ive had experience with those as well). My current garage is a 2021 manual mazda3 hatchback with the beautiful red leather interior (and the new mazda3 interiors and exteriors are beyond stunning imo, Im still obsessed with how good this car looks), and a manual 1990 MX-5 Miata. Every drive, commute, or errand run is always an absolute engaging blast, and all of my Mazda's have always been overall very reliable. my first one was a 2006 mazda3 sedan and it had some small issues (PCV valve and thermostat sensor died at about 120k miles, and the starter died at 130k, and it had rust, but other than that not many other typical used car issues at that high a mileage aside from regular maintenance) but it always still ran and was still a TON of fun and super comfortable / cozy no matter the drive. Great handling cheap reliable cars. I love Mazda as a company and for their cars. Mazda gang all the way.
Mazda Gang here too!
I just bought a Mazda 5 and I absolutely love it!!!!! It drives like a sports car and is well made. It’s my baby . ❤ all black automatic . It’s a 4Wheel drive! I’m very happy with it! so I won’t get stucknñ
Scotty recommending a cvt subaru is madness!
I don't trust Subaru.
Hes smart and can recognize cvt has come a long way
@@Joe.Smith. you are not smart
Can you make a video on Ssangyong Rexton 2008 Korean Suv ? :D
Back in the day Jeep used to have the best 4 wheel drive system. It was called Quadratrack !!!
You don't mention the "SkyActive" technology on the Mazda. If you park it for a long period, it won't start and you have to replace the batteries...AT THE DEALER or destroy the computer. Bad system.
How long did one park that thing?! I own a MZ3 and CX5 both '15 and never had issues.
She was in the hospital and then home, so it was a few months. No other manufacturer's vehicle eats batteries, or requires a dealer trip to replace them.@@DE-qk7fj
Does a beauty cover serve any legitimate purpose? Like maybe dust prevention. I would imagine it might cause more heat retention.
Had a GL in New Mexico. It was old school but it was unstoppable. I lived at 9000 feet and we got mad snow and I never got stuck. Great car and cheep as hell. It was (in my opinion) the New Mexico state car. I'd buy another today but now they're hard to find. Like hens teeth!
Good stuff I’m saving this one
I believe Ernie Boch was the very first importer for Subaru and he got a piece of every one sold in the US for years
Hey SCotty, Can you do a review of that new Straight six mazda engine?
@scottykilmer ON CX-90 Would you avoid this model now that the recalls are being made or is Mazda correcting these issues ?
The Crosstrek is a great car. We have the 2021 in the family and it’s impressive how practical and efficient it drives.
Scotty just wants to make sure he doesn't look biased when it comes to Toyotas, lol, but we all know his love for Toyotas
You can love a Toyota and still admit it's not the best anymore. People been loving ford and Chevy for decades and they never been the best
@@mattatkins5333 i agree, plus many car makers are making great improvements in their products these days, for example Kia has come a long way and doing great on current modes!
New honda crv/pilots are completely made in USA. No wonder why they have so many recalls
ugh
I wonder if Scotty has ever reviewed the Mazda CX5?
How about the Subaru Forester???? Do you have a video SUV Subaru 4 cylinder Forester or if anybody have information or videos I can watch. Thanks
I have driven Hondas, Lexus and Mazdas but out of all 3 I will take Mazda any day. The current models are better built and look more appealing to me
100% agree. Build quality is exceptional and the driving experience really connects you to the road.
Yes Scotty I agree with you that Mazda is moving up the ranks in quality, dependability and style! Also it’s a few thousand dollars cheaper than Toyota and Honda. I think Hyundai and Kia are also moving up the ranks fast.
I think there are complete terrible drive train engine weak would never buy another but look good finished well I will say
Kia and Hyundai’s don’t compare to Toyota and Honda Still behind by a margin
Does a 2011 or 2012 Outback have the better tining chain that is not problematic?
Revisiting this video today and guys I am so touched I want to cry, Finally Scotty stops throwing the beauty cover for that Mazda at 22:40!!
In all actuality, the Subaru of the 70's and 80's were 4 wheel drives (4WD), not All Wheel Drives (AWD). Also, Subaru had vehicles that were front wheel drive (FWD) only. but later, they changed their way of thinking and began to consider themselves a "niche" consumer vehicle manufacture and they would ONLY build vehicles that had the ability for the allowance of all 4 wheels pulling ALL THE TIME.
