loved how you did the step👍👍
Really nice job Ben, very methodical in the finish and built to last. Simple things like the tape that other builders “forget” prolonging the life of the timbers makes all the difference to life span👌🏼
Cheers Paul. 👌
Finally subscribed, have enjoyed your build so far and have picked some useful hints and tips from previous videos. Keep going ! brilliant stuff

Nice work my friend, may i ask how many days the hole project took ?
Pretty much spot on 30 days but I probably could have shaved off a day or two if I didn't film it 😅
cheers fella! Like the rod system, defo will use it when appropriate, once again amazing job !
Ive done a few composite decks now and expansion and contraction is a real problem, did you glue the mitres? Have they opened up?
I did glue the mitres and yes two of them opened up but only fractionally. I did warn the customer of this and I think that's all you can do really. You can only build with the materials available. 8 months on and out still looks tidy but I'm going to go back on the summer and check on it. 👍
@@BuiltByBen-YT good to know what glue did you use to glue the mitre? Mitre fast? If so which brand?
@S.P.Joinery I think I used the weber build one 👌
Strange this decking has you screwing through the top of it. The others that I’ve see have the screw going in on the diagonal at the bottom lip of the board so it’s hidden.
Is not through the top Adrian. It's hidden fasteners
