If you put the water outlet port in the top of the boiler tank and use an elbow outside the burn chamber, it will allow you to completely fill the tank with water and gain that top surface as a heat transfer surface. If you put the water bucket higher than the boiler tank and keep the upper port in the tank completely under water and remove any ups and downs in the feed lines this will Thermosiphon with a steady flow instead of batch boiling and squirting large gulps of boiling water. With a boiler that large and a trapped air pocket at the top, the volume of boiling water it could blow out could actually be quite dangerous. This boiler is large enough, you could probably heat 2-3 buckets of water simultaneously with good thermosiphon. Nice build!

@@franknada8235 the way they put the water pipes in the boiler chamber all the air cannot escape so there is no water touching a good portion of the boiler surface inside the burn chamber, so not as much heat transfer as they could get. If you don’t flow enough water it will boil in the boiler and escape, possibly violently into that bucket. If they put the water outlet from the boiler on the top of the boiler instead of the side, and raised the bucket upward, it might thermosiphon with a steady flow and heat the water without boiling in the heat chamber. Thermosiphon is powered by the water density change in relation to gravity. Hot water, and air want to go up, not sideways. So any sideways travel will slow thermosiphon flow and make it more likely to boil in the chamber.

Muchas gracias por su respuesta,el primer nivel y el último con la chimenea lo entiendo, lo que me sorprende es el 2dp nivel el más importante para mí,mi interrogante es: solo por los dos agujeros sale el calor que viene del primer nivel donde está la leña sube x el conducto central del segundo nivel y sale el calor se transmite por las mangueritas y calienta el agua?,o lo que pienso es que ud al llenar el agua al balde este se traslada al encapsulado del segundo nivel sellado y el agua se calienta?disculpe nunca hice un proyecto así,soy neófito en la materia,pero me gustan hacer las cosas bien y quiero hacer uno igual a su proyecto y si tiene algo más que agregar ,se lo agradezco de antemano

Hola, esta estufa calienta el agua muy rápido, si cocina sopa de más de 5 litros, el agua en el cuerpo de la estufa se cocinará antes que la olla de sopa.

Thank you for sharing your DIY build. This may have been already suggested, and if it has, no worries then, but I would highly suggest that you use a stainless steel, metal container or a non BPA plastic container for your water reservoir on the build. The extreme heat to the water would cause the plastic from the bucket to leech into the water over time and you'd be using water adulterated with endocrine disrupting things that act like estrogen. DYOR and you'll see what I mean. Just looking out for you and showing appreciation and concern for someone who I imagine wants to keep his T levels where they should be. May the Heavenly Father bless you if it is His will, or have a cheers in greeting if that's your preference. Take care.

You can also run a water filled, room radiator off the system as well? No need for all of the technical welding etc; just install a long coiled 1.2 m x 12mm copper coil pipe in the heating chamber?

Great System and Well done . I live in Germany . If i build such a Heater it is okay . But if i start it i have much much problems . That oven is against any green rules it is not Bimsch V2 and so on. But that dont matters. A good meal a warm house and warm water. Live can be very good in bad times 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

O sea que el agua que ud echa al balde plástico se traslada por las mangueras al encapsulado (segundo nivel)y se calienta antes que la sopa como dice ok hasta aquí lo entiendo,y como haces para vacear todo el último agua que se calentó en el encapsulado,si queda algo dentro el material que es metal se puede oxidar, cierto?

Hola, el orificio inferior está a 2-3 cm del fondo, el orificio superior está a 1,5 cm de la cara, el calor de la estufa calienta el agua y el agua caliente se empuja hacia el grifo de arriba, convección, mira el video con atención .

Ведро надо поставить выше печки. Шланг один подключить пару сантиметров от дна, другой сантиметров на 10 выше. Этого будет достаточно. Тёплая вода легче и она стремится вверх, холодная опускается вниз.

Awesome, That have dual functions, and recycle the wasted heat.
If you put the water outlet port in the top of the boiler tank and use an elbow outside the burn chamber, it will allow you to completely fill the tank with water and gain that top surface as a heat transfer surface. If you put the water bucket higher than the boiler tank and keep the upper port in the tank completely under water and remove any ups and downs in the feed lines this will Thermosiphon with a steady flow instead of batch boiling and squirting large gulps of boiling water. With a boiler that large and a trapped air pocket at the top, the volume of boiling water it could blow out could actually be quite dangerous. This boiler is large enough, you could probably heat 2-3 buckets of water simultaneously with good thermosiphon. Nice build!

@@franknada8235 the way they put the water pipes in the boiler chamber all the air cannot escape so there is no water touching a good portion of the boiler surface inside the burn chamber, so not as much heat transfer as they could get. If you don’t flow enough water it will boil in the boiler and escape, possibly violently into that bucket. If they put the water outlet from the boiler on the top of the boiler instead of the side, and raised the bucket upward, it might thermosiphon with a steady flow and heat the water without boiling in the heat chamber. Thermosiphon is powered by the water density change in relation to gravity. Hot water, and air want to go up, not sideways. So any sideways travel will slow thermosiphon flow and make it more likely to boil in the chamber.

Hola, esta estufa calienta el agua muy rápido, si cocina sopa de más de 5 litros, el agua en el cuerpo de la estufa se cocinará antes que la olla de sopa.

Thank you for sharing your DIY build. This may have been already suggested, and if it has, no worries then, but I would highly suggest that you use a stainless steel, metal container or a non BPA plastic container for your water reservoir on the build. The extreme heat to the water would cause the plastic from the bucket to leech into the water over time and you'd be using water adulterated with endocrine disrupting things that act like estrogen. DYOR and you'll see what I mean. Just looking out for you and showing appreciation and concern for someone who I imagine wants to keep his T levels where they should be. May the Heavenly Father bless you if it is His will, or have a cheers in greeting if that's your preference. Take care.

You can also run a water filled, room radiator off the system as well? No need for all of the technical welding etc; just install a long coiled 1.2 m x 12mm copper coil pipe in the heating chamber?

Great System and Well done . I live in Germany . If i build such a Heater it is okay . But if i start it i have much much problems . That oven is against any green rules it is not Bimsch V2 and so on. But that dont matters. A good meal a warm house and warm water. Live can be very good in bad times 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

O sea que el agua que ud echa al balde plástico se traslada por las mangueras al encapsulado (segundo nivel)y se calienta antes que la sopa como dice ok hasta aquí lo entiendo,y como haces para vacear todo el último agua que se calentó en el encapsulado,si queda algo dentro el material que es metal se puede oxidar, cierto?
la solución es bajar el orificio de fondo hasta el fondo, y reemplazar el segundo nivel, (tanque) con acero inoxidable

Interesting idea, the water will rust the inside of the jacket. And the water will not be drinkable for long as bacteria will soon grow in the system, also there is no way to drain the jacket.
