  • I truly believe that Emma was aware of what happened to her mother. I think these kids have been completely brainwashed. Emma will lie at any cost to try to get her dad off. It’s pretty warped. I see her throwing her beloved and wonderful mother under the bus! Tell me how many people would have two bodies being dug up on their property and goes to talk to her dad in the squad car and discusses money, etc. with not one word asking what the #$@& is going on??? I would be horrified especially after her mom has already died. How many kids would be okay with their dad getting married two to three weeks after their mom died and was buried? No one!!! These kids just aren’t okay.

    • Being brainwashed into a cult or religion and being brainwashed into being cool with your mom being murd3red by your dad are two insanely different things. Emma and Chad share the same “religious” beliefs. So did Tammy! So did most of their town!! All of that stuff came from a famous book (Julie R) that was very popular in the Mormon church. Frankly, believing that some ppl are light or dark isn’t any different to me than Christian’s claiming that someone is possessed just because they say… gRape and k!LL a child. It’s literally the same thing- you’re judging that people are possessed or not. And I can’t tell you how many Christians say this in comments on true crime channels. So on THAT level… Emma is no different from those Christians . So do all Christians that think people can be influenced by sat@n k!LL innocent people or are cool with that happening? Isn’t that a HUGE leap I logic? Garth (chads son who found Tammy with Chad) was stoic when Tammy died too and he was closest to her, but during the funeral he was bawling his eyes out, and so was Emma. People act weird when they’re in shock. Emma appeared to be in shock to me when she was talking to Chad in the cop car. She thought the body they found was a dog! If that isn’t DENIAL, I don’t know what is. To assert that she knew her mom was k!lled by her dad and is fine with it is frankly d u m b and insulting to the deceased and the living victims.

  • Love your show Lee! I do dissagre on 2 points up front tonight. Firstly, I believe Prior fully intended to make that realtor look unprofessional and stupid by bringing up that he didn't check a potential buyers finances prior to showing a property. He meant to do that & he wanted to make the realtor look bad. Also, when the Realtor said " maybe not" it was NOT in reference to the judge! Prior said "you understand that right". He said yes & then maybe not" referencing his lack of understanding of the question's relevance. Pryor deserved all he got from him after that. His professional reputation was attacked.

I think 95% of the comments against JP are based in extreme bias and make no sense in reality. He even maintained a calm and cool tone while telling the witness “you don’t get to decide that”. And the witness DOESNT! Today wasn’t a good day for JP but that has nothing to do with the way he questioned the realtor.

I'm sure she told Chad's kids that her children were dark and they had turned into zombies so it wouldn't shock me if Chad's kids were involved not only in the disposal of JJ and Tylee BUT in the death of their own mother Tammy. I mean Garth was so indifferent to his mother's death, I wonder if he cared at all. Emma and Garth claim that their father was brainwashed by Lori which is total BS considering Chad was the one who gave out "light" and "dark" ratings. They continue saying Tammy was sick when in fact, Tammy was sick in September, not October. Emma is the one who kept claiming her mother was sick even when everyone else, who interacted with Tammy on a daily basis, said she was extremely healthy and active. Prior even says that Emma was with Tammy during their different workout classes. Of course she was. And now the kids are claiming that Lori is responsible. Apparently nobody wants Chad to face the consequences to his actions.

If I’m a juror, and I’m seeing evidence pointed out to me by the defense that shows Chad’s children support his religious beliefs and aspirations, then that would make it hard for me to find the kids credible when they testify. Because then I’m thinking, of course you don’t think he killed your mom. Of course you think she just died naturally. You also believed that the camera was possessed and your dad needed to cast the demon out of the camera to get it to work. So it not a stretch for you to believe him if he tells you that god gave you a revelation that he called your mom home to heaven and that’s the reason she died.

  • When Mr. Arnold said, "You own it. How many acres is it?" I BURST out laughing! I get the impression that Judge Boyce doesn't particularly care for Prior and assume that's probably why he wasn't harder on the witness. A few people who were in court today said Boyce looked like he was trying not to smile at that, and I wouldn't blame him if he did. I understand fully that lawyers need to be paid, but taking ownership of a house, rather than proceeds of the sale, has always seemed really odd to me. That alone doesn't look bad to me, but that he took a house where children were buried as payment makes him look super slimey in my eyes. It just feels gross.

Not everyone in a mobile home is “trailer trash.” Mobile homes are a quick way to have an affordable home, that can be taken to many areas. Having had a mobile home, I can tell you that two bedrooms, two baths, a beautiful kitchen with an island, is a great starter home.

My husband passed away suddenly just 2 months ago, he was only 50, a heavy smoker but no real known health issues. He was alone in bed and I was the last one with him…so similar starts. I was not given the option they just did an autopsy. As the last person there, why was he allowed to say no?

  • I have been wondering why all the witnesses are so patient and submissive with Prior. It seems his tactic is to make each witness feel guilty about something, and make everyone in the courtroom feel sleepy and frustrated at the same time. He often asks irrelevant questions only to point out that the witnesses can't remember absolutely every little detail from 5-6 years ago, or that they didn't do something they actually had no obligation or education to do. By the time redirect comes around, the prosecution seems almost absentminded and the witnesses are so confused that they can barely understand the questions. It is as if he is trying to impeach and discredit absolutely every witness. May be good tactic on paper but this is going to backfire at some point.

  • I'm not too good at the chat in the live stream by the time I've formulated my thoughts everyone has moved on!!! - regarding your comment that Chad didn't seem to believe in polygamy seeing as he needed to wait for Tammy to die before marrying Lori. Hidden True Crime speculated years ago that perhaps Chad was thinking in terms of polygamy with Tammy (possibly prior to Lori coming on the scene) from something Chad said in his autobiography. Also Chad and Lori were sealed in the temple together when Tammy was still alive (i.e. Chad sealed to more than one woman still living) and Lori referred to Tammy as her dear sister during her sentencing hearing - perhaps they were thinking about polygamy but Tammy was unwilling to go along with it.

    @gnomesb@gnomesb24 күн бұрын
    • I don't think Chad and Lori were officially sealed in the temple. I don't think they would have been able to be married in the temple so soon after the death of a spouse. They claimed they were sealed in the temple before Tammy died. They must have gone into one of the sealing rooms and pretended to get married. A "sealing" is the same as a marriage. They would not have had permission to be married. Chad was already married. Maybe Lori's husband was still alive. These two make it look like there is no rhyme or reason to the LDS church. If they had been honest with their bishops about their affair, their temple recommends would have been taken away. And they might have lost their church membership. You absolutely don't go into the temple and get sealed to the person you are committing adultery with. These two are/were absolutely crazy. ps I think I read that they were excommunicated eventually, but I don't know. To say these two are not good LDS people or Christians is a blatant understatement.

    • Important to note that Chad was also not willing to consider divorce from Tammy because it would have ‘tarnished his exaltations’ or something like that, according to Melanie Gibb. Yes!! Chad’s reputation among his conventional LDS friends and family would have taken a severe blow had he divorced. He would have been castigated for divorcing a sterling wife like Tammy to marry a blond bombshell kook like Lori. So he murdered instead, and wanted to reap the benefit of the ‘poor widow’ role too. Characteristic of narcissists.
