So many of us are in lockdown in response to our current situation. Life as we knew it changed for many of us and we are in our homes many more hours than before. In response to this, I will be doing daily quarantine ukulele lessons. In each video we will be playing ukulele, chatting, and learning.
Bring a journal/notebook, pen/pencil, ukulele and a snack
LIVESTREAM EQUIPMENT
To read the music for these live-streams I am using an iPad stand. I have used this stand for performances as well. Here's the link to it: amzn.to/2x7tXsI

  • I just started playing a month ago shortly after the quarantine started. I was given a ukulele when I opened my The Little Gym and it's probably a cheap one, but it's okay for now. I have been practicing for several hours a day and I am loving your videos. I learned Hallelujah and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, but now I'm realizing I need to learn the basics. Thank you for all your lessons, I love them and I'm having so much fun!

  • i bought a violin last week. i wanted a change from piano... something new. plucking the violin was so unsatisfying. so i brought home a ukulele today =) this channel is so cozy bowed instruments are totally new to me. I've had the violin a week. don't know if my posture is correct or if i'm even holding the bow correctly. gonna take some lessons. i prolly spent more time on the ukulele tonight. super soothing sounds. the pup wanted to go outside when i first put the bow to the violin. violin definitely is not a beginner friendly instrument

  • wound strings have a greater mass and so they can vibrate much slower to make low tones well. Just look inside a piano…..all the bass strings are wound while mid range and treble are not

  • Hey Bernadette - can you re-teach this to us in the key of G!?! LOL! Some of us sing alto and below... I cannot sing this song in the key everyone keeps producing tutorials for!! I need something that is more on this tone - @
