Revisiting 2b2t Tamed Animal Coordinate Exploit
LiveOverfont (advertisement): shop.liveoverflow.com
Everybody told me the cat coordinate exploit/leak was already known. However this does not seem to be true, I tested it by logging packets.

I believe it's also patched on 2b2t at the moment, so it's possible it was just patched in PaperMC and thus your server as well.
but that's Exactly what he was saying, that it doesn't work on that version and these two exploits are different
@@SepehrKiller I'm adding to that explanation, specifically why it could be Paper.
hi
Probably related to the patched ender pearl loading coordinate exploit that was present in older versions, too. Where the server would send an entity teleport before de spawning the entity resulting in the server sending you the coordinates of the ender pearl landing position.
Also, yes, it is definitely patched. It was parched after some players threatened to expose the position of KZhead whenever he logged on.
i can hear him being summoned in the distance ²ᵇ²ᵗ, ᵗʰᵉ ᵒˡᵈᵉˢᵗ ᵃⁿᵃʳᶜʰʸ ˢᵉʳᵛᵉʳ ᶦⁿ ᵐᶦⁿᵉᶜʳᵃᶠᵗ and he's fast approaching
"and he's approaching fast" sounds better :)
@@rpebut this sounds more poetic
@@rpe No. 😏
hes rock climbing as fast as he can
paper incorporates many exploit mitigations. i think it would have been interesting to see wheter this still works on an up-to-date vanilla server straight from mojang
It does, Mojang did not bother to fix that
Love the clarification, thanks for your effort! Appreciate you. Happy holidays!
fun fact, the tamed animal coordinate exploit was a convincing lie by Nerds Inc to hide that they had NoCom, while still being able to use it. (it may work, but it was originally a lie to hide a bigger exploit)
Shorter and straightforward. Great!
speaking of cordate exploits... when i was reading the 1.12.2 decompiled code, i saw that maps send their x center and y center to the client, meaning if you can read these variables, you can go to the location of the map...
Not on papermc.
Do you realize that you can go to this location as long as you have the map in your hands lol
maps also show your position relative to the map, on the map itself. If you have a map, you can get to the location of the map by traveling in the correct direction. Vanilla stuff. no point for finding that info. not really an exploit.
YOU FINALLY MADE THE FONT I ASKED FOR
I have no idea how I ended up here, I have no idea what you are talking about. I watched the entire video! Great job.
Please keep making more!
On the world creation screen there is somewhere a setting to disable mob spawning for better debugging.
the gamerule is 'doMobSpawning' i believe, so '/gamerule doMobSpawning false' should do the same
8:33 the truth sometimes hurts.
I'm glad I watched the ending as well lol sieht nice aus
Thanks for the video
Yes

Never underest 2b2t and the immense effort to be feel more powerful then the rest. Look at nocom exploit for example or project copenheimer. Stupid but works extremely good.
copenheimer isn't something new
I'm not too familiar with all the MC mechanics, but does this require that 1) you tame cats and leave them sitting somewhere (or how does a cat get lost from the owner and not TP to owner?) 2) Someone else finds your cat and manages it somehow that it doesn't TP to you. 3) They triangulate your position by somehow moving the cat around in a boat or cart, then leash it to get the cat to look at your direction. 4) repeat 3 until they find you? How does one get the cat out of the boat into a leash without the cat teleporting away? This sounds complicated alike extracting your spoken words from the vibration of a bag of chips using a laser (which Iirc is a legit hack). Huge props to 2b2t players and other people so dedicated to messing around with the game haha.
amazing
I really like the idea of supporting the channel by buying the font, for I am not a fan of material merch. But as a feedback I find $25 a bit steep and there is no information about if this is a monospace front or proportional or both
25$ for a font as beautiful as this one is 100% justified
@@rpe yes, but for a font I do not need and won't be using for commercial stuff but only to ha a giggle once in a while and otherwise has no purpose for me... Call me a cheapskate but for a "personal and non-commercial license" I would happily pay 9,99€
lol there are people who pay for fonts
The fonts are real, neat.
Wait, can you find someone's UUID, overwrite a tame cat to be theirs, and then just do the cat look thing to find them?
Would the sheep challange work with a bow?
For the flight one, just check for the bedrock layer :)
is the elytra pathfinding algorithm open source? id love too see it!
Finally, an excuse to buy a faster processor, because you can fly faster on minecraft :D
@@joost00719 lmao
Not at the moment, but i plan on making the final version open source at some point.
@@tudbut didnt expect the creator off it to be here! anyway to keep up with updates / progress off when its going to be open src like a discord?
Remind me to never get into computer security, because people there are not nice at all.
Depends on which people. I've found the white hat / def con crowd to be some of the most caring and understanding group happy to share knowledge with people putting in equitable effort. The jerks generally appear whenever you find a juvenile (literally 13 year Old) hacker groups thinking they are tough because they have worked out how to use someone else's discovery. E.g. literal script kiddies. Unfortunately the Minecraft hacking community is CHOCK full of them. Due to its dual appeal to kids and hackers via anarchy servers.
There is a subset of 13 year old minecraft hackers who are actually very skilled. Nice people and toxic ones
@@1.0 I find those types are usually creating mods/hacks rather then reusing others hacks. We had a few of those bright stars in the Sponge project at one time.
the video was cool and I love the Font. I want to buy it but it only accept Credit/Debit Card :/ is there anyway to pay with PayPal?
can i get the source code to your hack client please i want to test it and add more things that would be good on your server
cool
Do you have a Minecraft server?
Is the server on 1,19,3 or its on 1.19.2 ?
Hey! Where do I get the code so I can look through it too?
Check the first episode of the series
@@slovakthrowback3738 just checked it out and It doesn’t say.
Is this the Salvador Dali Skin? 😂

okay you got first
Cant you triangulate the players location if the cat is looking at the player? Like the ninjabrain bot we speedrunners use
Correct, in fact this was literally his theory on how this works. Use the origin and angle from multiple points to produce a set of lines then search for the intersection point. In the ideal case this would only require three but the inherently imprecise nature of 256 values per yaw axis (1.4 degree angular resolution) will make the lines diverge. This can of course be overcome by using more cats from more source positions as they will converge in the vicinity of the true point. The point with the shortest mean distance to all of the lines should converge on the correct co-ordinate the more data the better this should be at pinpointing the correct point, that is to say the error bars on your estimation shrink. So basically you are actually generating a sphere of points in which the true co-ordinate probably lies and this sphere gets smaller with each additional measurement although the size of the sphere does also depend on the confidence threshold you set. This is all statistics at that point so using two sigma to calculate the radius of sphere there is a 95% chance the true point will be within the calculated spherical volume.
@@seraphina985 in the end we got precise angles by finding the positions where the cat changes its viewing angle
it wont work on paper youd have to change the settings in paper as they patch alot of exploits
But only tomorrow is christmas
I'm really enjoying your series on this so far, I think you'll find this coordinate exploit very entertaining: kzhead.info/sun/mNCqccxrfomIo3k/bejne.html
Although I would love to know, how the client knows the cat teleported, as there is no EntityDestroyPacket. EDIT: Nevermind, I can't read.
Yes there is...
Is your mod available for download?
just learn how to make it yourself

Do you have a discord server? If not, could you make one. Auf ehre bruder, hab gerade mit minecraft cheat coding angefangen und wuerde es voll toll finden falls du einen discord server machen koenntest wo erfahrene Leute Einsteigern helfen koennen.
what are you holding in your pfp
a, b, c=[[]] * 3 a.append(123) b[0] == 123 c[0] == 123 play around this code.
Pretty awesome! So it initializes the list, then triples the size of the list around it, creating a list of 3 references to the same inner list, which is then unpacked into a, b, and c.
