The American public school system did my little sister so dirty when they told my mom to stop speaking German to her. They insisted it would make it harder for her with her ADHD and now she struggles to understand German at all. It's such a goddamn shame.
I am an Indian and I speak/understand close to 9 languages. 😂 By default most modern Indians are tri-lingual.
That's why you guys are so incredibly intelligent and so much better in many academic things. Makes sense to me!
Yup.. I'm from Assam in India, and I speak four languages. Learning two more as I approach 40.

@@rewrittenperspective547 how does that matter? is he not Indian or human enough?
English is My Favorite Language, I Can Understand, Write and Read Very Well. I Talk to the Person Who Listens to Me In Both English and Portuguese, Since I Can Translate. 😊
Your English language skills are obviously very good, but why do you choose to spoil it by capitalising practically every other word? That's bad grammar.
I am listening to this video in my second language 😂
I learned Japanese in the 2nd grade. It disappoints me knowing this language is forgotten and inaccessible somewhere in the recesses of my mind. And Spanish in high school because a second language at the time I attended was a graduation requirement.
I had french for 2 years and was actually ok, but forgot everything.
I had Spanish in primary school for about a year but now my six years of French in secondary school are in the way of my Spanish because of their similarities... Though it would probably still make Spanish easier for me if I were to pick it up again
let me explain something els for you with brain knowledge have you thought about turning your iPlayer more films like netflix so the people will choose to come to you more move away from sky and virgin media and netflix all them apps will be jealous because you will have more films for people to watch in one package your tv licence will be worth it for people to buy your license plus as well bonus cheaper then all apps on the world.

Every non native English speaker in Europe: so what?
We still benefit from it. That's great!
I suppose you are monolingual therefore you don't understand the purpose or point of view of this video. Watch.
That's definitely not every non native English speakers that can speak two languages or more. As a French, I can say that there are many French people that speak only French.
I speak 4 - Bengali, English, Hindi & Urdu fluently but still unemployed 😂 😢
I feel ya!
Most indians are atleast bilingual and many are trilingual
In Catalonia there are Spanish parents angry because their children learn Catalan and in Catalan at school! By the way: Adéu!😊
I mean, technically we all speak all languages, we simply don't understand how the sounds match the subject til we make the connection.
