  • I haven’t put too much thought into this, and I don’t completely know if this would work with the shield, but what if you replaced all the mirrors in a mirror maze with really good quality invisibility shields?

    • The big issue is relevant distance and obvious contact. In Mirror Mazes, it's actually quite easy to understand direction and position because Mirrors are relative to the person. That being said, it's very frequent in Mirror Mazes for people to not do the minor but instant calculations needed to not bump into a mirror. The mirror is sturdy. This thing? Very fragile and curved. Contact with it probably won't break it if framed well or built well, but it can lay fingerprints and/or ruin the curvature (even when framed). That being said, it still seems like there's room to work with and it can definitely add onto the confusion for those in a mirror maze.

      @mariab.1997@mariab.19973 жыл бұрын
    • I think the pattern of your shirt doesn’t matter but the color should match to the background. If you wore red-blue Stripes the stripes itself would be invisible but you would see a violet (red-blue mixed) blurred something.

      @PfropfNo1@PfropfNo13 жыл бұрын
    • @Chris Twid The color or lines on your shirt don’t matter - what matters is how wide your body is compared to the shield. If you have a big enough shield, you can hide a tank (I believe someone did this already). The vertical/horizontal effect is just the result of the curve of the shield, and vertical lines disappear only because they are stretched out and thin enough compared to the shield, while horizontal lines remain because they technically end up wider than the shield, making things “stretch out on themselves” and therefore not disappear.

  • I could totally see these shields being used in urban combat ambushes. They are noticeable due to its natural light bending properties, but it's not something you can exactly notice at a glance unless it's close up.

  • Have you tried layering 2 sheets together, one horizontal and the other vertical to observe that effect? In theory it should completely camouflage anything behind it both vertical and/or horizontal when layered.

    @destrukshawn@destrukshawn3 жыл бұрын
    • I feel like this would blur everything and you wouldn't be able to tell anything behind, so it would be more noticeable to see some almost homogeneous thing.

  • Broaden the scope of unusual things from any possible confining principal and be versital in your spectrum, this I tell after watching 1 video. I loved it. Thank you. I don't know your channel but I'm subscribing and I'm excited to see more.good editing also. Thanks again, I enjoyed your video.

    • The video shows that it did *not* work! The dog was looking straight at the guy and then ran in a bee-line straight *to* the guy and around the shield. It doesn't shield scents, and dogs are nose witnesses, not eye witnesses. It might as well not have even been there.
