  • There are multiple ways to do Hyperstealth! Hyperstealth uses BOTH fibre-optics-based and Lenticular lenses SIMILAR to a digita fibre cables and Fresnel lenses to capture and break up the optics of reflected light from a fabric! I personally would use ACTIVE LED TILING which using built-in LEDs and embedded PHOTOSITES to capture the background and emit it on the opposite side. It can also be used for active cammoflage by emitting RGB image patterns held within a soldier's smartphone so it can adapt to the local surroundings no matter the season, weather and background! Negative Refractive Index Metamaterials is a newer technology which is JUST COMING ABOUT to offer RGB, IR, UV and even RADAR stealth which can be embedded into a flexible fabric. There is also the VERY BEST cammo which is gravimetric GWASER-based which uses fast computer-controlled pulses of temporary gravity wells to BEND light around an object using Gravitational Lensing which is the be-all and end-all of EVERY wave-length super-stealth! That specific technology already exists BUT is currently waaaaaaay too expensive and complex to be put on everyday military or civilian items. Maybe in 25 to 50 years will Micro-Gravitational Lensing become a common means of Active Visual and Radar Stealth! V

  • Using only material scattering and light bending, achieving complete invisibility is impossible. However, it's feasible to create a silhouette-like display where objects appear partially invisible but not completely. To achieve full invisibility, advanced cameras are necessary to capture the background image, while projectors at the front are required to project that captured image.

  • since the mechanism being used is by directing the light path somewhere else so light pass through the refracting material dont go straight. and the steeper the angle the better, right? then you cant make it into a clothing. if it wraps around the body, not much enough light signals from other angles that can be transfered towards the viewer. it will just look dark/black. by the way, infra red is not a light. its a thermal radio. if the shielding being used got warmed by human body, it will lit in IR camera.

  • Well, sensor devices haven been developed in China, and in Russia too, there is partnership between them, and eventually soldiers will carry them, these sensors will detect heart beats, thermals and other stuff from any living object in a radio of ~500 meters, some say the radio is closer to 1Km, also there is work to expand the radio, goal is for soldiers not to trust what they see but what is being detected thus this measure will defeat camouflaging. There is a good article on this and why despite the hype of camouflaging there is not such a great enthusiasm.

  • I think this high-tech layer is nothing more than a screen layer like those embedded in cellphones in general and paired with some kind of application to delete objects in the video in real time. This is a simple analysis but with a slightly complicated technological synthesis. Hi, friend... What about technology to remove sounds and smells? By the way... We have successfully achieved image, sound and video recording technology and of course it is getting more advanced all the time. The question is, is there such a technology but specifically for recording smells at the same time as the smells storage and display technology? Hopefully it will happen soon.

  • Sorry detractors. This is real. The problem is that most sight detectirs are now by heat and or infra red....same with missiles. The object does not have to be seen to be shot at...hence...it is more a toy than a military invisability cloak
