  • There is no other sport that you can compare to life than boxing. You take risks and decisions, sometimes you get knocked down, sometimes you get knocked out. sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. sometimes you see the punches coming sometimes you don't. sometimes you try to get up but your legs can't hold you up anymore. Sometimes you get hit so hard that you can't get up. In the end you are alone in life taking all the hits. GOD BLESS BOXERS AND BOXING I LOVE BOXING

The girl I liked doesn't want me no more, some of my friends don't want to talk to me cuz of me always wanting to do stuff but never beinfb able to since work and training comes first, and idk man. It seems I have everything I could want right now, except a support group. My best friend (who actually got me into it) is like my only friend now. It sucks and I hate it. This video kinda makes me sad especially with the song. Cuz I'll never be pro, and I pushed away or let everyone slip away so I had a full time job, boxing skills, a place to stay, and a vehicle. • I miss boxing, even on sparring days, even on round 2 in a fight where you’re being out skilled and out muscled, walking back to meet him in the middle of the ring and show no fear. Tweak your style a bit and now the left or right hook is landing more and that feeling when u start to turn the fight around and knowing you didn’t quit like I could’ve just folded and gave up under pressure... yeah I miss it ahah

  • Being in the ring, it's a new life. Once you're at your lowest, you know its life to the max. The pain means alot. It creates thoughts, feelings, smells, touches, words, and new way of human life. The lump of your forehead, the taste of blood, actually seeing another go through it across your corner, only to get back down to it a few moments later. It's truly an engaging experience. You can't let up. I never went pro. Never was an Am. I boxed in college and was raised to throw hands. I certainly put in work. And I realize there's levels to this game. We all played football or basketball or some kinda sport......but you can't play boxing. You know you're in a new zone when you sign a waiver just to get a few rounds in a gym. That's when lethal becomes legal.

  • Because in MMA once a guy stops intelligently defending themselves, the bout is stopped immediately and his opponent is called the winner. In Boxing, a guy could potentially be knocked down 10 to 15 times over the course of a 12-round fight and have their brain thoroughly scrambled, suffering from multiple concussions, but if he keeps answering the 10 count every time, the bout will go on and he'll continue to take punishment.
