  • That match between Djoker and Del Thortro was not only the best of the tournament, by far...It was probably the best match on clay this year. What an absolutely joy to watch, so much sportmanship between both. Thanks a lot.

  • This was Del Potro's 2009 US Open form. He hadn't played like that in ten years. I have no idea how Djokovic pulled that out. Champions are a unique breed I guess. DP is great great player but I think that this was a cut above even his best. He won't play like that very often. Anybody else would have lost last night. It must be mentioned, Djokovic overruled the linesmen on a DP serve and gave away the point and then high fives him after a great shot during the match. ND is no sore loser and no cheater.

Delpo saved how many break points in first and second set huh? Without mental toughness he would have been broken in both sets and lost early. Anything can happen in tie break, of course he missed a FH at match point but that was not a first FH he missed the whole match, he played extremely well and yes should have won that tie break. But his opponent is no pushover, no.1 in the world with insane defence. Either could have won and today it was Djokovic. Happy that Delpo is back, so beautiful to watch.

Following your logic, the Nadal-Djokovic Wimbledon 2018 semifinal was not a proper match because Nadal played a 5 hours and 5 sets match vs Del Potro in the quarterfinals and Djokovic arrived more fresh. • For those haters who said that Federer was only using the excuse of take care of his body just to avoid the clay season, there you have it: *injured* I knew since Fed decided to play on clay this year (january) it was a bad idea Now the king of tennis needs to rest, and as i know how predictable you all are, don't put comments like: "But Nadal/Djokovic isn't injured" because obviously none of this two is the king of tennis. Out of topic, what a mental resistance from Nole, he's able to win a match even going 2/11 break points, something that Federer can't do. And Nadal... well nothing new, just another clay tennis class, something usual.
