I was crying then, and i’m crying now and every time i see this video. Simona Halep is an example for all of us that with hard work you can achieve your dreams.
She is incredible never gives up,thats why she is my fav...
she been using drugs to win slams. Take away her trophies NOW
What a beautiful champion : she deserves it !
After three finals, and now hopefully she will be ready to defend her Wimbledon crown…
she is a doper in case you havent heard
@@user-be5qg7mr1s You're pathetic
@@user-be5qg7mr1s The high court decided that was not intentional, contaminated supplement. So why you call her like that. Simona is a big champion and worked extremely hard for that.
Let’s go finally some longer highlights from this match
NO stupid
Angelica Inzunza what?
@@user-ex8kc3kp6s probably someone who betted on Sloane
Tanmy Thompson yeah, butthurt for no reason lol
Hard works, never give up, hunger for winning always paid off. Great job Simona for being the most consistent players for the past 6-7 years!
Love you…Simona never give up attitude 💓🎾🏆
I must commend this crowd. This is the LEAST bias crowds I’ve ever seen. The fans are good tennis fans, and not about bias superficial things. Just as many fans were rooting for Stephens as they were for Halep. We need more of this, especially now in 2022! Congrats to Halep!!
Well Said.. 👍
*biased
Best Grand Slam Final I have ever seen! For Simona to come back from losing her first 3 Slam finals and then comeback to win this was beyond epic! And then to win Wimbledon also! Shes a true great in my eyes! My fave player, love her to bits.👏❤️🙏😎
she is a DOPER
The way the French have carved that Winning platform right upto the centre of Court! That's how you do it Wimbledon! That's the "Champion" moment! Imagine the feeling of standing there right in the centre fur your 1st Grand Slam after losing 3 previous Slam finals! She has the tenacity, fight, and true spirit of a Great Champion! Love her!❤️👏🙏😎
Hope she can win more majors.
Who
she could have won AO this year but she didn’t have the right tactics against Muguruza and had some bad luck at some shots
She definitely can. She really should have won the AO this year, but played her worst match against Muguruza. If only she could have converted those set points in the opening set.
Don't listen to him, what he means by "tAcTICs" is "HIT BALL HARDER, NOT WORK? HIT EVEN HARDER!!" Halep has one of the more varied shot selections on tour, not up to Barty or Radwanska lvls but more than 98% of the tour. She can hit flat, looping topspin, fast dropping topspin, chip slice, low slice either short angled or deep at the baseline. Her backhand is deceptively powerful, matched Nadals bh average mph this tournament and was a only 600rpm less in topspin. Her game might be body taxing and injury prone but it's how she plays her best, utilizing her athleticism and unmatched running speed to get to shots that nobody else on tour reach. This is why she is responsible for 2 of SWs worst defeats scorewise including her worse in a major final which would be a year later on SWs best surface. This is why she has the best winner to unforced error differential of the WTA, top 10 in average winners and top 5 in fewest average errors, nobody else can say that. She plays against the status quo, she is showing that the popular "big babe tennis" style is inferior, she has caused lots of young players to stop pursuing a tennis career cause they trained their wholes lives to play big babe tennis told that's the only way to win majors, only to realize that they can't win against a smart player.
Pomerlain89 that's the same with barty, it really should've been a barty halep final, kenin lucky escape i'm both sets saving 2 set points in each
Simona ❤
Such a beautiful final congrats to both
Great match from two of the fastest girls on tour
9:27 I can imagine Simona say “not again”
The romanian government don't pay for sport almost nothing here...Simona Halep built her career ON HER OWN from zero! just with a little help from her family who sell a property to sustain her career in the beginning... they believe in her and Simona became successful very fast...she won WTA tournaments , small ,big ones etc ...until 2 grand slams
I Love Simona Halep from Indonesia
Simona was also helped by Gica Hagi, the famous romanian football player. But you're right, the romanian gouverment doesn't do anything for the romanian sport, which is very close to "die".
America loves Simona! She is absolutely perfect!! 😍🤩😍
This has to be one of those most satisfying wins ever. All three previous finals losses--to Sharapova, Ostapenko, and Wozniacki (not five months before this)--were utterly heart-breaking three-setters, two of them lost on her serve. A bit funny then that her celebration is so understated. Aw Sloane, nice smile at the end of the handshake/hug, very sweet.
Que linda Nadia apoyando a su paisana
Love the beat at the beginning
its beautiful
PLEASE upload the Konta vs Stephens Quarter final from 2019! That match was INSANE!
Simona🏆🎾❤
Great Upload.. From 2005 - 2022.. On WTA Tour ( 13 ) Different Winners of French Open.. Simona Was 10th.. ATP Tour From 2005 - 2022.. French Open.. ( 4 )..
Congrats Simona 👏🏆🎉❤️
point at 18:25 turning point. Sloane is tired. Halep is not giving her free errors like Keys in the semi finals
Love you Simona !
Atunci a aparut inca o legenda in panteonul tenisului mondial. Daca! Oricum tot respectul pt tot ce a facut pt sportul romanesc!
How on earth did our little Romanian girl turn this match around is still a mystery
Mentally. And she said that she remembered the year before when she was up a set and a break. If Ostapenko could turn it around on her, then she could do the same against Stephens.

Sloane had one Hand on Trophy, Simona Really saved her career if she had lost may have never won A Slam.. So happy her talent and bravery came through.. Now Wimbledon 2019 Champion.. Bravo..
The reverse for Sloane she let this title slip from her hands. All went downhill after this match. Who knows how many more Slams she would have added if she won this match.
Sloane is the more powerful player, while Simona is the better mover.
Sloane also doesn't have the dedication and work ethic that Simona has. And prime example would be how they both resumed after the hiatus last week. Sloane showed no intensity and no desire, which was the case before the break, and was routined by a 17-year-old. Simona, on the other hand, doesn't play her best tennis in her opening matches but fights and gets the wins and winds up going all the way to the title.
Exactly. Also Simonas BH is more powerful than Sloanes

She is cheater!!
In all truth, I don't believe Sloane has recovered from losing this match it seems. She was very close and capable of the win
Fully agree. She didn't have that extra gear and she's never really developed it
Simona was so defensively stubborn, and Sloane just ran out of gas.
That' s a good game! Thank you France for hoosting this good game. Merci France!! Te iubim Simona! 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇺🇲🇲🇫
this sad music is sending me
Can we have the full match now like other Slams?
I've always wondered unlike other matches they've never posted this on tin full mmmm
5th?
Tot respectul Simona Halep! ( Never Gives Up )
Maria Sharapova super stars world tennis!!!❤❤❤
8:54 Amazing defense by Halep
such cheating with drug use
@29:00 where is Sloane's drop shot
not the best final but truly a memorable one
@ferzy09 More like you're still complaining about Simona not winning more, as you are on every other video. Simona took this match from Sloane and earned her first slam.
Halep remembered what happened the year before, when she was up a set and a break, and used it as belief that she could do the same thing. She earned this slam, and it was so satisfying to see her finally win it, after all the naysayers were saying she'd never do it.
@@pomerlain8924 just ignore him, he's a closet Sharapova fan boy who can't understand the concept of "Forced Errors" and swears Halep played "better" in 2013-2014 cause she was "more aggressive" even though every single stat article shows she was more aggressive every year afterwards, more so after Cahil joined the team.
Bravo Halep
After losing 2 Roland Garros finals Simona said no way I’m losing this game
Why didn't you post the complete match??? Will you ever post the 2019 match between Serena Williams and Sophia Kenin ??? That would be great.
Wow things have really gone down hill for Sloane..
She seems content with her one slam. No drive, no work ethic, and poor fitness. I do wish Keys would have won that USO, because she would have cared and been hungry for more.
I think this match and the Roger's cup final broke her mentally, several things transpired from those 2 losses. 1. This was her first loss in a final. 2. She obviously played her best and put her heart in it 3. She lost to someone she had said in the past is just "A small tournament player" while she was a rising young gun and "Big match, major match player".

halep had murder in her eyes the whole match. i haven’t seen a lot of her matches but i have never seen one where she was this fierce. sloane too. it was a total dogfight though. they’re both so wicked fast and that was my interest. i’m more of a giorgi fan but simona is pretty darn wicked when she gets it going.
Come on Sloane Stephens you should beat Muchova in straight sets. I gotta go to work 😡 I will record the Tennis Channel and watch when I get home..... Get Some Sloane.....🎾👏🏻😤It’s incredible how many American WTA players are doing so well.
🥂💋🥂
Federer vs gulbis please
Never seen Cahil as worked up as this 29:12
Didn't remember Halep was such a screamer
Only if Sloane can come back to playing at this level again...

Sloane was greatest of all clay time in that first set!
She wasn't so good in set 2 and 3. Haha
@@adrianbrown1492 I said in the first set. READ!!!

I don't camp out here and wait for you to reply. Get yourself a life @@adrianbrown1492
Sloane could've won this in straights IF she didnt drop her focus
It's not even about the focus. Instead of putting even more pressure with her shots, she started to give back more and more soft balls ..return, rallies..whatever...
Sloane should've gone for it bcoz she had the power. But she remained a pusher.
Roxadustat doing roxadustat things
she cheated the system again... can you believe they suspended the 4 year ban? this woman is evil
Sloan ain't know slouch

Among the ten or so past Grand Slam tournament younger champions, three newer women stand out and appear to be near unstoppable: Iga Swiatek,Sofia Kenin and Naomi Osaka. Simone Halep may have won Grand Slams before, but with her irritably gentle style of play, these three powerful and accurate players will likely stop Simone in her tracks in an earlier round of Grand Slams... ** So ,in my opinion, the Big Three of tennis have burst into the limelight of Grand Slams. Within months and years of having a new boyfriend,a few women like Simone (or Naomi) end up having enlarged and heavy chests. This impedes her tennis playing abilities. Simone's 40 year old boyfriend should pay for her recent breast reduction surgery. Despite Simone's wins, her style of play is too gentle and too boring. She could be part of the BIG FOUR of Women's tennis, along with the three other women mentioned above.. Muguruza and Caroline Wozniaski and Victoria Azarenka or someone else could be part of the Fig Four , depending on which four women win more Grand Slams more often, and stand out as being near unstoppable in womens tennis tournaments.
this guy has no idea what the hell he's talking about, let alone the controversial, to put it mildly, observations about female anatomy
Kenin unstoppable? LOL!!! She has done nothing since fluking the AO. She's now ranked #147 in the world. Naomi Osaka is the definition of inconsistency. We don't know which tournaments she'll play, and it's not even a guarantee if she'll finish a tournament she enters. Iga Swiatek is the only one showing she might be unstoppable based on her form this year and her winning streak.
the male commentator should find another job.
Yeah, he was half asleep, like tennis is boring him to sleep.
OMG I like to see Halep playing but her screaming is really ridiculous. I thought Anna Kournikova was that bad.
Stephens should’ve won this.
Should've, could've, but didn't. Lack of fitness hurt when Simona raised her game.
Halep did not win this match, sloane lost it
Simo did win this match. She took it from Sloane. There's a reason the H2H is 7-2 in favor of Simona, with her winning the last 6 meetings.
Simona please give Sloane the Trophy 🏆. You are a cheater! #Guilty
