Yes, huge difference. Unfortunately you can't use your license in another country. You would have to take the NCLEX exam to gain your nursing license here in the US.

Hi Dee I need your help, here in the UK they are making it more difficult for UK nurses to migrate to the U.S they are always changing the curriculum and separating the child and mental health from the general R.N degrees so it is not comparable to the USA and we are stuck here. I haven't started to study yet because my worse fear is to have a degree that is not transferable to the us. Can you tell me where did you graduate from the UK or share you university transcripts or silabus so I can know what to look for when I do my research on uk nursing degrees please that would help me a lot
Hi! I did my nursing in the Philippines and our curriculum is similar to the U that's why I didn't have any problem. But, I have a friend who studied nsg in UK who was able to take the NCLEX. He applied in NY and he wasn't asked to take any additional courses :)

Hi! From what I know before is you need to still verify it thru DFA. I don't know this has changed 😕 You can call BON CA to make sure but expect a long waiting time
Hi I just have a question Im stuck from filling out my application for endorsement. Went to 2 schools in phil. Dont know If I should put my first school where I started or the last school where I did graduate how do I specify or do I need to email them first about this matter. Pls help 😢 Thanks!
Is there an option to put both schools? I suggest ilagay nyo po kung san kyo nag graduate, pero include all school documents sa parehas na school and add a cover letter nlng explaining your situation. I hope this helps 🙏
Hi, I'm an international graduate but took my nclex rn via texas board of nursing and now want to endorse to California. Will i be required to very both my international license too or just my texas license?
What I did was just to upload my Philippine RN license thru breeze. I didn't do the license verification for that but for my US license in Vermont I had it verified thru nursys. So in your case you can just do the license verification for your texas license and just upload a copy of your international nsg license
Hi! I took my nclex-cali 2010. Now that i got my ssn. Can I send an application in breeze? I tried "initial exam application" does it mean i need to repeat the process? And pay around 700$+?
No need to repeat the process. Same po tyo. What you did was right, go for initial exam application, upload your docs, mail your fingerprint card and send school docs. I have the forms you need to send to your school, you can email me at dee_1606@yahoo.com so I can send them to you ☺️

Hi! I know before they used to require that. Now, I am not sure if they waived it. You can apply for endorsement and they will let you know either way what your deficiencies are. You're already licensed in NY so hopefully it won't be a problem

So on the breeze website, what do I click to get my license? What is rn initial exam application on there mean?
Are you endorsing your license from another state? You need to choose initial exam application if you're applying to take NCLEX OR you've passed it years ago (CA as exam state) when they haven't required SSN yet and you want to reactivate your license. If you've passed your nclex from a diff state then you need to choose license by endorsement. Hope this helps ❤️

Hi! Did you put in a wrong SSN? You can try creating a new account. I think you just have to use a different email address. Try if they'll let you regiser.

Hi! I don't know much about TOEFL but I know it is still accepted for the purpose of visa screening. You can either take IELTS or TOEFL

You can as long as you have your SSN then you can endorse it to CA

Yes, from what I know they still accept official transcripts/reports from CGFNS

You can only start applying for NCLEX after graduating since BON would require records from your school

Hello po! Ang alam ko po may certain states lang na nag aallow ng score transfers like Colorado and NMI. May ibang states din na nde nag aallow like texas. So pwde nyo po ivisit ung website ng colorado or NMI board of nsg para makita ung process ng endorsement skanila since every state po is different. Goodluck po ☺️

Do you know or have a video about doing it the other way on this video? Im pretty sure marami pong nclex passers sa calif na di naka progress dahil no ssn sadly. Ako po I passed NCLEX in 2010 and CA BON still have my test scores so I'm pretty sure pwde nyo po yun ma endorse sa NY. Punta po kyo NY BON, they have instructions on how to endorse your license. You still need transcripts from school but for your PRC license, you dont need to have it verified. Just upload a copy of your license kahit expired. For georgia license verification you can do it via nursys

You can just upload your PH RN license on breeze. I didn't do a license verification and I still got my CA license ☺️

No need for experience letter. You might need it when applying for jobs here in CA as a nurse but not to activate or endorse your license.

I know you can use your ITIN if you dont have your SSN yet. Pag wala po kyo both I don't think you can endorse your license. Are you on the process of obtaining your SSN?

Transcript and RLE lang po and may form na breakdown of edu program na need ifill up ng school. No need for clinical cases, nka waive pa rin po yun since covid ☺️

No need for english proficiency if you're only doing a license endorsement. If you are processing your immigration status then you'll be required an english exam/IELTS as part of the visa screening

Log in ka sa NMC online mo then click my registration, meron dun request a certificate of current professional status. Ttanong ung country etc. then lagay mo US BON California. Free ata yun if I remember it right kase electronically lang naman nila isend :)

You still need to submit documents from school. You can use nursys to verify your license in GA 🙂
For the fingerprint, kasama napo ba ung fingerprint processing sa $799 na bayad? Or bukod pa?
Yes, ksma na po ung fingerprint card. $750 for the application and $49 for the fingerprint card. Pero ung mismong pa fingerprinting nyo kayo po magbayad nun. I think nasa $30 ata un nung ginawa ko sya. Tapos kyo din mag bayad sa pag mail sa CA BON

Hi! Are you currently outside US? The only way to get an SSN is to be here in the US. So i suggest hanap po kayo ng agency to process your immigration muna para makarating kyo dito. May ibang state that doesn't require SSN pero if you really want to move here in Cali, hanap kyo ng agency that caters Cali hospitals. :)

Hi, I have a problem sa California endorsemt ko. Currently residing in the UK tapos pag nag rerequest ako ng manual fingerprint to submit and pay, di ma complete kasi yung postal/ zip code di tinatanggap ng system. Mali daw format ko eh yung naman tlaga ang address ko di pwede ibahin. Zip code ko sa address is KT1 3AB pero di tinatanggap yung format. Dito ako banda 5:15 sa baba if you fill out your address di xa nag accept ng zipcode kasi mali daw yung format😢

Let me know if nde magwork I'll look for other options to obtain the fingerprint card
How did you get your SSN while in Uk?
I didn't. I had to wait to enter US to get my SSN.

Hi po! First step is to take the NCLEX. Yun po muna ang iasikaso nyo. You can apply in other states like NY or texas, go to their BON website to find out the requirements then start na po kyo ng review 😊

How about po NY to california? NY to guam? NY to florida?
NY to Cali you can follow the same process as per my video but for all others, process will depend on each state's requirements. You can look them up on Guam or Florida BON websites.
