IDEAL has introduced a revolutionary set of professional levels. These precision levels are designed with unique features that specifically help facilitate conduit bending. Available in three models that are CNC machined from a 6061 T6 aluminum billet for straightness and accuracy.
T6 aluminum’s strength to weight ratio is very high making it structurally stronger and the material of choice when manufacturing a durable product. This enables precision machining for the vials to be set accurately, which in turn improves the accuracy when using it to bend conduit in the field. Large windows around each vial make it easy to read at almost any angle and the neon green fluid attracts light for better visibility. The corrosion resistant brass screw can easily be removed making it easy to replace the vials if needed and extra vials are provided with each level. The bull’s-eye vial on the top of each level can be used to align the X and Y axis points of any surface.
Each level has oversized rare earth magnets providing strong conduit surface coverage and holding power. The levels also feature V-grooved magnets and bottom surface for extra stable mounting and alignment to conduit.
The three and half-inch model 35-206 and 6 inch model 35-207 levels feature an embedded Thumb Winder conduit wheel with a contoured screw design for nonslip grip and stability that prevents dog legs in complex conduit bends. The patented Thumb Winder conduit wheel allows for one-handed operation and cannot be removed from the level where it might get lost. The contoured screw hugs the surface of the conduit for maximum gripping strength and a firm stable hold on the end of a conduit. The streamlined low profile frame provides easy storage and retrieval.
The 9 inch level model 35 - 208 torpedo level offers five vials set at zero, 22.5, 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees. These angles cover all the basic conduit bends an electrician will use when installing conduit on the job site. The added curve in the bottom of the level is used for spacing conduit runs 1 1/8 inch apart on a rack when installing multiple runs of conduit together. #RonKipperDatacomm

  • Do you have a video about how to use the level at the end of the conduit, like the 35-206 and the 25-207 levels?
