  • Terry Connor’s performance at Newcastle in the League Cup showed that he was a player who still had so much to offer,

  • Days of yore listened that night 🌃 in 1982 Leeds away to the Magpies Leeds winning brilliant nobody gave us a chance especially when Newcastle where winning by two goals. Terry Connor was a first class player. Leeds United legend Terry Connor got a lot of stick.Skilful player pleased he played for us .We had some class player's in the 80s even when we got relegated All Leeds aren't we, marching on together, we all love Leeds 🦚🇮🇨👏👊

  • His death was overshadowed by members of Revi4's team dying at the same time but I hope big Frank got some recognition at Elland Road for triumphing in very trying conditions.

    • If only he could churn them out at the rate you do, but I know that’s not practical. I’m really enjoying your John Lyall Years videos btw, they’re class Robert.

  • A very young looking Martin and 'Action man' looking on in the interview 40 years ago with Martin's brother. Mostly Bury St. Edmunds and London Leeds in that frame. I'll never forget Martin getting nicked in Marbella when he mooned to the Spanish policeman, Leeds on tour. Again, thanks for posting this amazing series, viewed with such nostalgia and memories. Thank you.

  • I was in the upper south stand for that league match with Newcastle. It was stupid they let their fans in the south stand. They were smashing seats and a few were thrown on the pitch. I remember seeing a burning Newcastle scarf in the kop and it was funny when the ref took the players off... directors of each team addressed their fans. Everyone was reasonably quiet when the Leeds director went first but the Newcastle director got abused and drowned out

  • I didn't see the match with the goal that the cameras missed at the time, although I heard about it, and this is the first time I've seen it. Hilarious.

  • Cracker. That brought home just how out of control the violence had become. I have seen a fair bit of Terry Connor on these films, good player.

  • I think that 1982/83 may have been the worse season for football hooliganism at Leeds matches both home and away.

    • 82-85 definitely with Leeds away not many away fans at ER in them days bar Geordies and Chelsea brought a few in there promotion year, Leeds were the only club threatened with a shut down, along with Chelsea these two clubs dominated the hooligan era especially Leeds.
