This response from Connor regards when he will be back in the ring seems to suggest something like this, considering UKAD just won their appeal to have the ban enforced. Eddie probably already has a fight lined up, which is also why Connor is so confident, and currently training.

It’s crazy how much people love hating on others online! Mind blowing! Surely with all the haters on here at least one person tell me why? Does it make you feel good to hate on others? 🤷♂️ You don’t know him, you don’t know what he’s going through or where he’s been! Not like he’s been knowingly injecting roids is it!? Most people on here calling him egg man or whatever, but it wasn’t even Connor who said eggs were to blame! I think It was the WBC, but anyway whoever said it was eggs…Connor immediately denied it! At the end of the day he’s a nice lad, you can’t say he’s not!?
