  • UPDATE: software is now working with current GHub update.>>> One thing I forgot to mention that is so cool with this board, is when it goes into sleep mode, you first key press is registered, unlike others that you have to wake up then start typing. Small but cool feature.

  • I just got this keyboard over a week ago. Truely an amazing keyboard so far. It is great looking and incredibly thin. I got the clicky version, it is not loud at all. The click sound provides a great feedback and is pretty satisfying. And it doesn't have issue like a lot of other RGB keyboard -- light leaking out from the gap of the keys. I also find the volume wheel very useful. So far, a great purchase.

  • You sold me a Razer Huntsman from your recent "gaming" keyboards comparison video. LOVING IT! Never knew I needed a speed switch, and as loud as it is, I really like the type of sound it makes (somehow it doesn't key in my mic to my friends in discord thankfully). With lightspeed being implemented into Logitech's keyboards, they need a charging deskmat now. That'd be nice to have a wireless keyboard you never have to worry about charging.

    @Eliminator6363@Eliminator63633 жыл бұрын
    • This is a genius idea!! Wireless charging desk mousepad. Literally one chord is all you’d need. I bought the huntsman and hated it and went and bought the tkl tactile. Linear switches are not for me I kept pressing buttons on accident because u barely have to tape it

  • I'm getting the white one tomorrow, good video!

    @vidarCRC@vidarCRC3 жыл бұрын
  • I have the full size one, I bought it before TKL came out. I love it, so smooth and it feels really solid. The wobbly keys or them being flimsy. That is not at all how it feels when you use it. There is no rattling of the spacebar, it sounds like the other keys basically which I really like. Don't like that big loud noise the space bar often makes. The low profile is so comfortable because the wrist isn't forcing upwards and get crampy. It just rests on the keys. Mine did get bricked via firmware update that failed because of Logitech's own back end. Not on my end, the message came up saying problem with back end servers. I been on with Logitech support and they despite my warranty was done I have had it 2 and a half years (2 year warranty) they agreed to send me a replacement as a one time courtesy. I like that. Gives you some faith that they stand behind it. It was on their side the failure happened. I don't think I will do any firmware updates on the new one, lol. I want it to last a long time.

    @loki76@loki76 Жыл бұрын
  • Best review right here. You are definitely the only one talking about the key wobble. I noticed that on the original G915 when I tried it in the store and made me not buy it, and you explained it perfectly. It would probably not influence you in use because that wobble only happenes when you press the key lightly. But I also saw other reviews from you and you are literally the only person that notices the same stuff about products that I do where no one ever complains about and I like that.

      @Usicky12@Usicky123 жыл бұрын
  • I bought this (the full version, not TKL) a month ago for sw development work and I love it. Tried a few higher-end mechanical boards before, but my wrists would always hurt with the high profile when typing for a long time. This keyboard is fantastic for me for typing, possibly thanks for the low-profile keys and the 2 levels of height adjustment. The battery life is good, so I just use it for the work week and leave it to charge Friday night. The only thing I do not like (on the full version) is that the G keys cannot be changed without software, which sucks because of silly defaults. Unlike the Razer keyboards, the backlight can be fully stored on the board (had no issues with the software btw), so you can use it with multiple devices without the Logitech software (which I hate btw). I don't mind the non-usb-c as I have the old cable always at hand for some other older devices.

    @jozefhajnala@jozefhajnala3 жыл бұрын
    • jz without the software (assuming one cant use it, like if it doesn’t work). You can still change some (even just basic lighting for example) settings from the keyboard itself? I’m also a developer and this would work nicely as it is low profile. Not sure if it will stand up for games though, i might break it

  • This keyboard saved me from having to find a mechanical keyboard with a built-in or a detachable wrist rest to type and game comfortable. This low profile mechanical keyboard just fits in perfect in the middle ground. So unless You love to do some some swapping of keycaps or switches this is a really great keyboard. And I love to have thet volume wheel which is even harder to find on TKL keyboards.

  • Nice review as usual. The keyboard is really nice. It has all the basic features in the right places that appeal to me. However, I simply don't see where the justification for $230 is. It does nothing that many other less expensive high-quality boards do. I could see this in the 150 to 175 range, even if the caps were PBT and rock solid stable.

  • I dont know if you remember me, but I tuned in again after a long hard period in life and am happy to see, that you are doing very well for yourself! Man I remember when you had your glorious model o problems in your review. Idk why, but that stuck with me for some reason. I also remember when you hit 1000 subscribers. That feels like ages ago. Also witnesses when you changed your setup to this one. Been nice to be along for the ride and I will keep on watching again. P.S. how is Techne Jr?

  • Why Logitech not introduce power play wireless xl charging mouse pad for mouse and keyboard, the mouse pad charging cable able to click to table side then route to back of the pc, then I have clean table top without worry about charging , this will be my ultimate desk setup

  • Micro USB for the charging port is unforgivable in a keyboard this expensive released in that year. I got the G815, and do not regret it even a little bit.
