Mumbo could make a Grian proof vault with a button and a sign that says 'press button to open vault' . Grian would then proceed to press the button over and over until he realizes that the button actually does nothing.
He would do that even without a sign xD
or what if it does open the vault but in a way where grian won’t notice
Omg what if he did that but you had to press the button exactly 52 times or something ridiculous
The definition of insanity is doing the same the thing over and over again all while expecting a different outcome.
Better yet... Make it with a hopper clock that only ticks when the button is pushed. As the hopper clock empties, its contents are read by a comparator which tells the mechanism to activate various redstone pieces at specific times, which serve no function aside from creating the illusion that repeatedly hitting the button is actually working. After the hopper clock empties, the vault door explodes in such a way that the intruder can't possibly survive, revealing a congratulatory message for solving the first puzzle of the vault, while also lamenting the unfortunate fact that they are now disqualified from proceeding any further. Honestly, the Grian-proof vault storyline has been my favorite part of this season, and I hope it returns eventually.
I absolutely LOVE how well Mumbo knows Grian. Mumbo managed to successfully predict what grian would do. TWICE!

this whole clip is why i love their dynamic so much. they are literally opposites, you got a fantastic builer that Redstones like a caveman and thinks like one too and on the opposite side you got a Redstone genius who is amazed at the caveman's builds who's always 5 steps ahead of him

@@TheREPPIX dude idk if you've seen some of the Minecon vids where Mumbo is on the panel, but that man is literally a giant. Idk about X, but Mumbo is 6'5 irl and Grian is 5'6. It's so funny to see them next to each other😂 that's really cool about the skins though. I'm only just getting into creating custom skins and it's amazing what kinds of illusions you can create.

I've always thought mumbo and grian were the...well basically "the Minecraft kids".. (not in a bad way) I enjoy seeing others actually having a good time

Ah, I remember this arc well. It was the start of Grain being so insufferable that other Hermits had to take precautions agains't him.
An then he proceeded to loose almost all of his stuff a second time, and Mumbo wasn't there to witness it either-
Holy shit this is amazing, this is completely underrated and you need more subs. I just love the art style *might commit crow and steal the shiny art style(and by that I mean try to imitate it, fail horribly and then be immediately distracted by something else)* and I'm definently gonna look to this to try to teach myself how to draw better. The scene made me laugh and this animation just make it better, I'm rambling now this is awesome bye
Haha thank you!!! Some parts of my style was inspired by Steven Universe and other cartoons and comics. You can always try any style and probably take some parts, but you already have your own style just like we all have different handwriting! I'm glad you like the animatic c:

Turns out the *real* way to build a Grian-proof fault is to log off and never come back!
Mumbo wanted to call Grian stupid so badly XD you could tell but their smp is kid friendly so no cussing what so ever lol
The best bit about this is that Mumbo fooled grian three times in a row! And the last one mumbo wasn't even online and yet he still got the better of Grian. Grian was so predictable that Mumbo wasn't even worried that it might go wrong. XD
I love how them talking in the chat is just them chatting on flip phones in this animation.

It's been six months since the last two week attempt on Mumbo's vault.
Mumbo's cheeky little fancy mustache man expressions are adorable.
