Today --> Future Commodity(e.g. Gold) --> Code Money(e.g. £ $) --> Bitcoin Bank --> Blockchain
With the volatility of Bitcoin value, Bitcoin as a future currency is way off track. Only thing Bitcoin helped us with is emphasizing the true value of Blockchain.
everything in a nutshell
It's amazing sir. The clarity and simplicity with which you have put across the content is simply amazing. Craving for more content now!
wow pleasure hearing you.
Very good presentation! Congratulations
Well done Rajesh. A complex concept explained in a simple and practical manner. Keep it up.. proud of you sirjee
Thanks Raja for very generous words. Greatly appreciate your encouragement!!
Rajesh!! Awesome Explanation in simple lucid language, great work!!!
my favorite is LEDU token, because LiveEdu(LEDU) is a decentralized learning ecosystem that teaches people how to build complete products in future technological
Excellent talk on the topic....very informative.
Thanks Naresh. Greatly appreciate your encouragement!
Great Job!
Loved the talk! I am currently working on blockchain solutions in the food industry and I can relate to this closely. Would be great if we could have a chat, let me know!
Thanks Abhinav. Sorry for the delay in my response. I dont check this space often. You can reach me at rajeshdhuddu@gmail.com. I will be happy to chat further on this!!
Abhinav Ramesh : pls connect with me on weblife.shekhar24@gmail.com . I have something for you.I am or want to work on this same.
very informative
Definitely agree, blockchain will be the most popular technology in Fintech and there is already some examples like MenaPay, PumaPay.
i heard of Menapay ! good project
Good one
In this 2021 the cryptocurrency has reached 1 trillion dollars value its a huge ( 24.05.2021)
It's mind blowing how cryptocurrencies have taken off. A new way of doing things outside your central banks, governments...equals a win win situation. We have over 400 members mining crypto and the returns are incredible. Get your money working for YOU....quickly!
a few months later total market cap is 70-80 billion $ 4 times more than when this video was done. cryptos are booming
good one.
Thanks Vinayak
I think TEDx should put some matrix about the quality of speakers who claim themselves as 'Global leaders ' in emerging technologies like Blockchain, AI, Cloud etc. Just you are working with some global company can't give you the certification of an expert in the technology. Talk mentioned here is simply a 'Global Gyan' which is available on the internet and people will take out their share as per their understanding. In most of the talks, Blockchain starts with Satoshi Nakamoto & ends with that because other significant is not mentioned by other speakers. This is because nobody tries to learn the technology behind the blockchain, like how it get started? What is digital timestamp or work done Stuart Haber and team did in 1990. The logic behind Proof-of-work & work done by Cynthia Dwork etc..Just by putting 'Jazzy' definitions and a couple of case studies people think that they justified the topic. Other's may don't have a choice but clap because of 'speaker's position'. Guys everybody like respect in society but that you have to earn by shotcuts you can't achieve any thing
Saurabh - sorry missed seeing this comment before. What will be a good time to connect and speak? Just to clarify, I didnt have any position in Blockchain when i delivered this talk. Wish i had an opportunity to learn from you prior to the talk!
Nice talk
Thanks Sri Krishna Chaitanya
Did someone used Menapay in their payment proccess ?
Nice talk..Does BHIM App uses this tech?
Thanks Shiva. Bhim doesnt use Blockchain!!
Rajesh Dhuddu how UPI technology is different from block chain?
its "Internet of things" not "Internet of technology" .
Arun C Thomas yes arun...thats a lapse from side! I realized it after the speech!! Thanks for noticing and pointing it out.
By the way great speech. Very helpful. Thanks a lot :)
Arun C Thomas it's same mistake in your name
internet of value is what should have been specified.
Hi Rajesh, I am very much interested in learning the blockchain, I am very less coding knowledge. Can you please suggest me the learning path for blockchain development or administration.
Hi Sandeep....if you learn C++, Solidity, Viper (derived from Python), Java it will keep you well equipped to venture into blockchain development. Linux, Windows are some of the Operating Systems that support blockchain development clients! Hope this helps!!
Is there any scope for administration jobs in blockchain technology ?
Well he has money in his name. (Dhuddu = Money in Kannada)
LiveEdu is simply giving out cars if you buy their educational token that is being listed on Bibox. Why not try it and thank me later
It’s not block chain … it’s bitcoin … block chain is only a part of it. All the technologies together make bitcoin work
someone get this man a glass of water holy shit!
Joshua Yelton 😂
how can I become a Blockchain developer?
You can become blockchain developer by learning C++, Csharp, Java, Python languages. You can learn these by joining online communities such as Slack, Git Hub and others.
What is blockchain's weakest link?
Harfiyah Haleem currently the weak link is ensuring cost of transactions will remain minimal when Blockchain network scales. This is applicable only for public blockchain networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum. In case of Bitcoin, the issue has been currently solved by doubling the blocksize to 2MB. In case of Ethereum, as transactions scale, more gas (ether) may need to be spent!!
Why audience is clapping? Nice dramatic presentation..
Hi...to evangelize bit of dramatization is also required. May be audience clapped because they related themselves to the examples!!
Good speech, but what is it with ALL Indians, it seems, with their "determAYn"?
their pronunciation for W & V is inverted and their H is silent, think its got something do with their native language, and my guess is it has nothing that sounds like the letter h
The year is 2140 not 2014
Adonis Valamontes - yes you are right. The period is 2110 to 2140. I said 2040. Thanks for pointing it out.
Unfortunately USD , EURO , YEN are being used in dark places too , so what?
Absolutely...since these fiat currencies have been in existence for several decades they dont get as much bad press as bitcoins being used in dark net. Also the recent spurt in bitcoin price (1 bitcoin is more valuable than 1 ounce of gold) is being attributed to stricter controls on fiat currencies in China, India and else where!!
anyway i think it'll take less than 2hrs instead of 2 days to raise a measly $40k had they used TV advertising or something
TV advertising requires a lot of money though.
WTF is Jamaica doing in e WINTER olympics?!?!?
The thing that will stuff up this Block Chain Technology is "climate change" and the coming "3 days of darkness" where all electricity will cease to function, not even a battery will work. Total worldwide darkness for 3 days. Databases will loose memory and be erased. The Internet will cease to work. After the "3 days of darkness" when you go to start your car, or computer, if it uses any form of software it will be erased. Analogue devices may still work after the 3 days, but not digital items using software. The world will be crippled for months, maybe years later. Humanity will be bought back to the stone age in just 3 days.
It has to be difficult for someone to speak a language they were not taught
you don't need to go to driverless cars to explain use of blockchain. that is least relevant use case of blockchain.i have heard
what will be a good example to explain Blockchain?
My concern is Who created Blockchain? For what? Probably not a Japanese, people think.
prototype-a Blockchain is a tech that is suited for online and connected world. So far we have been using incremental increase in offline processes to meet requirements. Blockchain puts an end to this approach which is not optimal. Yes Blockchain is not invented by Japanese or Chinese.
The thing is Blockchain is not created or owned by any country. It is people who collectively use the technology to handle issues like double spending and some other things by validating transactions as there is no centralized bank system to maintain a database with records of "how much you actually own in cryptocurrency". If there is a Centralized Database to handle this stuff government can make it go ""boom"". So there is this blockchain technology which works like a distributed public ledger where every transaction goes into the book that can never be deleted and a copy is maintained on every computer that mines this cryptocurrency. So to be simple it is the people who collectively decides. If at some point people want to stop this chain here and fork it and want to use the new one. then the new chain will have the value, not the old one (let's say if only one person uses old chain then he won't be having anyone to sell his coins - "worthless"). If there are few who use the old chain that's the case why we have "Ethereum" and "Ethereum Classic".
As you know, a self-proclaimed 'Japanese' called Satoshi Nakamoto published the thought about Blockchain system as an article for the first time in the world. Crypto-currency is based on this system basically. And I didn't know whether it was a lie or truth, but people say this 'Japanese' holds Bitcoin of the several billions of US dollars equivalency. I would keep the patent about the system if I was him. Because nobody knew whether Bitcoin will be a main crypto-currency in the future. Then why did he not obtain the patent to make fortune? Nobody has explained the reason yet.
As it seems to have an "International Patent" is equal to impossible. Because it is not an easy task to get your Patent Application accepted by every country. As this is a decentralized technology it is not how it works with this Patent System. Let's say if almost every country has given you patent rights for your research. Someone can use your research from the country that you didn't or not able to acquire a patent from without any obligation. "Patents are territorial rights. In general, the exclusive rights are only applicable in the country or region in which a patent has been filed and granted, in accordance with the law of that country or region." references: www.wipo.int/patents/en/faq_patents.html www.ipwatchdog.com/2015/12/26/pct-basics-patent-rights-around-the-world/id=64141/
As you know, there is the concept called ’International patent', but there isn't such a system or rule common around the world. However, we do not usually announce such an intellectual property on the internet and take the patent in plural countries. This is because it can anticipate a big patent royalty income if the applicant takes the patent. And many people and companies apply for patents about ideas related with Blockchain system in plural countries now. The person who developed Blockchain system abandons even such possibilities. What is it for? Nobody has explained the reason yet.
Doodoo
Satoshi is not a person,it was a group. And too much mouth sounds in the video. Its internet of things, not technology.Very nicely explained otherwise.
Kriti D hi kriti - initially during the time I spoke about this, Satoshi was considered to be a person, now considered to be a group. Infact recently FBI used big data analysis of all social media posts that they have direct access to, performed writing style analysis and claimed that they have narrowed down to few people whose writing style matches with that used in the white paper published under Satoshi name and few other articles published under the same name. Yes, you are right IOT is Internet of Things, it was an error made by me on stage!!
Rajesh Dhuddu Very nice summary and talk otherwise :)
Kriti D Thanks Kriti. Appreciate your comments.
Hes lying. Bitcoin doesnt transfer that quick. The cryptocurrency that transfers the fastest and cheapest is xrp. But he wont tell you that. Do your own research
Lightning Network
@@sneggron doesnt work and wont ever work if everyone was to try use it. The only way to speed up btc is to transfer over the xrp ledger
@@atjnr2852 i havent used LN myself but why wouldnt it be scaleable? Isnt that the whole Point?
@@sneggron yes it is the whole point but it fails on a large scale which is very unfortunate
Absolute non-sense. Besides the talkers being a clone of one another, like robots with exchangeable body frames and some minor local idioms to cheat the audience into believing they are real people. They are not! Even if they were somebody like you and me, they take everything for granted, from electricity to the good will of bad people. Absolutely tiring.
