When I was younger taking care of the milk cows and heifers and pigs, I never once thought that 50 years later I would think that watching cows eat grass, would be entertaining. 😂🙃😉❤️

It's a real pleasure to see the cows and calves going out on fresh pasture in the spring. I did mine today on the second new pasture, last week was my first time. They sure do kick up their heels, fun to watch. Good luck for the up and coming differences in the chores, it changes with the seasons and for me that is the best. I loved this time of year growing up with my grand parents farm and letting the animals out for the year and all the new growth and life. Thank you for sharing this with us every year.

My uncle John that I’m named after used to love to sneak up on someone touch them then the electric fence just to watch them jump! Your little fence touching scene brought back some good memories,thank you!

I said it last year. I absolutely love the sound of cattle pulling and chewing fresh grass. It's clean and represents everything positive. I magine being able to run and leap and hop in your supper plate! Great episode.
Love this time of year when the cattle are let loose on pasture. They are so excited to be out on green grass eating, running and jumping around. You two are such wonderful caretakers of your farm. Happy Spring!

There's just something relaxing about watching tractor tires getting wet while driving though dewy fields. Then there's the munching and crunching...... When it happens I will miss Titus somehow.

It’s so much watching animals as they’re let out of their winter comfort into grazing pastures, they’re running, jumping, so happy. Kinda like kids let out for recess!

I love seeing the cows so delighted for springtime goodness and hearing them eating and I love that the two big guys in the barn have sunshine to bathe in too! All is well on the farm.

Pete and Hilary, Thank You both for bringing us along on the spring tradition of releasing the Cows and Heifers into the Spring , Summer Fall Pasture . I really like your idea of utilizing the 25 acres of grassland in 5 acre rotational sections . Which allows the pasture land some to rejuvenate itself. The important task is keeping the electric fence fully operational with frequent patrols.
