  • Hi Pete my Father just passed away and we loved watching your videos when would get together we would talk about your videos. I just wanted to thank you and your family for posting your farm and videos for us. I loved my dad and I will miss the talks we had about your channel. Thank you so much.

  • Pressure washing, cows munching, poop flying, 86 cameras angles, music, a bad joke (that took me a little longer than I’ll admit to apprehend), and especially the MD. We love it all! A day in the life… Thank you.

  • Your tractors are a testament to old technology, I watch other farming channels and if their new fancy tractors sit all winter or sometimes just a month they won't start or the computer won't let it move. I've always said I'll take old over new any day. Have a good day Pete.

    • That’s kind of strange thing to say when you think about it. The “old technology” he’s using was state of the art at one time. It’s hard to compare old and new like that because his old machines are very well maintained. A broken hydraulic hose could have you down just like a computer. And at one time, hydraulics were “new technology.” You would’ve had guys saying they’d never run those new fancy hydraulics because a chain drive or a long lever to lift an implement was so much more reliable and you didn’t need any fancy tools to work on them. Some guys were resistant to running combustion engines because steam was the way to go. Or forget all of that gadgetry because horses are more reliable. I’ve ran fairly new equipment on a farm and fairly newer “fancier” equipment at work now. I like both. I’ve had or have many antique tractors and really appreciate them. It’s really hard to beat air conditioning, g.p.s. Plotting, and auto steer if you’re going to sitting in a tractor or combine for 12-14 hours though. I think people would be better served to growing intellectually with new equipment instead of shying away from it. There’s no difference in mindset of thinking about buying a decent welder, torch set, hand tools, etc. and wanting to be proficient with those tools to maintain and repair equipment or buying a laptop and wanting to be proficient with it. Don’t get me started on companies making their software proprietary, that’s b.s. but tools are tools. The guy with the horses and mules probably didn’t want to learn how to wrench but he did and was better for it.

Your opposite of them Pete, you show how to farm the smarter and more economical way plus you have the greatest helper that of course is your wife. Calming to watch you channel, thank you sir.
