A source tells ET that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are ‘not in touch’ following the release of her album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’
Its funny how everyone loved Joe when he was still dating Taylor, respected his choice of wanting their relationship to be private. Now people are cursing him out and just hating on him even tho we never knew the real reason of their breakup. If Taylor and his new bf were to ever breakup I can already imagine the backlash he'll get from her fans, the things they love about him now will be used against him in the future.
Travis is a good man unlike her villain ex who put on a fake face in hopes to lower taylors shine. Even if tayvis doesn't make it and they, will despite all the evil eyes and haters, at least we know to say he kept our girl bejeweled. That alone makes him perfect compared to the villainshow that was alwyn or the delusion that was healy.

Damn people always be judging introverted personalities like that’s just how some folks are just like some people are extroverted and like to be with friends non stop. Clearly Joe is the kind of guy who likes to be more reserved and not have all the attention gravitates towards him. Only because someone isn’t willing to share their most personal and intimate lives they shouldn’t be judged. It’s all about respecting each individual as we are all different and have distinct personalities. No need to shame the poor guy just because he is no longer with Swift.

He made her feel caged and locked her in London while he got to enjoy lavish parties on her stardom. He really used taylor for his own self and gave nothing in return. How is Taylor at fault for Joe's depression? A lot of actors suffer from the same affliction. No one made him stay with Taylor all those years. But while she was stuck in the House, he was hanging out with another woman. How was that fair to Taylor?

So he had her chained up in his dreary basement while he decided to host lavish parties like the euro villain he is. I just wish Travis was there to show this villain that good always prevails. Sadly it had to be Matty Healy instead and he was a medieval pox too. Sigh. So back in 2019 Joe more than likely proposed to Taylor and she wasnt ready (Champagne Problems) even tho the Lover album was out. so Joe was all butt hurt and knew he would never propose again because you should know if you want to marry some1 after 3 yrs. so then they were "on a break", like the kind Ross and Rachel had in "Friends" but then when Covid hit they got back together. Taylor thinking a year or so later she was ready but Joe never proposed again. Joe had emotionally moved on and Taylor didnt even realize it. Then there were all those "breakup" songs in Folklore and Evermore, which is why there are few in Tortured Poets.

Taylor Swift has made it very loud and clear. It's the happiest she has ever been in her life. Taylor is just shouting out Travis. Travis Kelce is her true love. He is not threathen by her. He is confident, more hansome than grumpy Joe. His body looks good and Taylor Swift just love his eyes. It's Travis Kelce era. Taylor Swift has left all the baggages behind her and she has moved on. She is in her new beginning era with the guy who makes her feel like she is in school.

Joe Alwyn. He is a working actor who's been a few movies like The favorite and Harriet. He used to date Taylor Swift but they split up because they were simply incompatible. He wants a lowkey life. i.e. go to work and go home type deal (His blue days/depression and introverted nature) may be huge factor as well. And that worked for a while, because that's what Taylor also wanted - at the time. Especially after the drama with Kanye, Kim and snake gate. But Taylor's fundamentally, a popstar at heart and that requires an audience, attention and press briefings. So, in the end they broke up. They had a good run and Alwyn should be allowed to move on without Swifties attacking him or his family. Also, Taylor's with Travis now and he over-all seems more naturally attuned to her and her life. Travis is an athlete and more extroverted like Taylor. They both also seem to understand public scrutiny and the press. So I hope, Taylor gets that ring of Travis. Their values seem to align and girlie gets that wedding and family. Besides, it's not too late (thank the scientists for modern medicine) so Taylor will be fine. She's found her person and everyone can move on. Peace.
