Adopted a stray dog, didn't expect it to give birth to 6 puppies shortly after

A man encountered a dirty stray dog in town. Her fur was messy, severely tangled, emitting an unpleasant odor, causing passersby to avoid her. Perhaps starving from wandering too long, she was easily bribed with food, her eyes filled with longing and helplessness, evoking sympathy from the man. At first, he lacked confidence in catching the dog, uncertain if she might attack him, but to his surprise, capturing her was much easier than anticipated.
