  • I love the way Raul Julia delievers his lines. Because for as scenery-chewing and wild as he can get, with lines like the "It was Tuesday" line, he's SO UNDERSTATED. He's not telling her that to insult her, he's telling her that because he's trying to make her see his perspective on why he doesn't remember killing her father. He's TRYING to be GENUINE and that's SO MUCH FREAKIER than him being cruel.

    • Also Julia himself studied a lot of dictators to get a feel for the role so when he hams it up he’s channeling real life dictators from their speeches and that’s the great thing the pax bisonica speech shows us that Bison doesn't see himself as a villain, in his mind he only wishes to subjugate the world in order to bring a new era of man to the world, and to unite it and push it to a glorious new future, he’s totally insane but that level of showing how he views himself is in every line from Julia in how he plays the character.
