  • This really is genius tech. I edited my first feature film on Avid, when it was a six figure proposition to own and rented for 2g's a week. We go from that to Jetset, which for me as a filmmaker seems like the perfect tool to be able to do VP on the go. I'm excited. Thanks for a wonderful showcase video Joshua. Cheers mate, and keep up the good work.

  • Thanks for making me aware of this software! I have shared your video with my friends who are into this kind of production. I do have one point to make. It seems like you are always under pressure in these showcase videos, which can be more engaging then only showing when things go right. Transparency is always good! I would also like to see some more examples of Jetset just working without focusing on the problems as you do in this video. Jetset should sponsor you to work on a short film with proper actors where you are the cinematographer and can focus on the tech instead of doing everything. I suggest finding a filmmaker and actors who has already won/ was nominated for a film festival award (I have done this myself to great success). Cheers big ears!

  • I hope they bring it out for Android.

    @TheBeardsShow@TheBeardsShow14 күн бұрын
    • Unlikely. Android doesn't have a lidar sensor for tracking. There are other deeper reasons around the consistency of the build quality. Best to think of it as a required piece of camera equipment rather that an iphone vs android issue. I have an android phone but still have an iphone for vp.

  • You've got a lot of green light-bleed

    • Definitely the least of my worries at the time. Despill could be stronger, but we aren't in a controlled environment either. I was surprised the greenscreen was as evenly lit as it was.

    • My interpretation is that they want it to feel like you're flying through filmmaking rather than getting bogged down in the details.

      @MarkHoopesMusic@MarkHoopesMusic15 күн бұрын
    • If that's based on my screen recording then it wont look 100% because running OBS caused a bit of stuttering. I can tell you from experience that the tracking beats vive. Also vive gives you absolutely no pipeline into post.

  • Do I dare to ask: Android?

    @AwesomeSauceShow@AwesomeSauceShow16 күн бұрын
    • Not for android no. Lidar asside, the iphone offers a consistent build quality. But its not really an Android vs iPhone question. It's better to look at an iPhone as just another piece of camera gear in this case. Im an Android user, but use the iPhone just for jetset.
