H: “I’m going to do something messed up to get him to talk, are you okay with that?” Brody: “Yes” H: starts doing something messed up Brody: “Stop, that’s messed up!” Rinse and repeat several times
So annoying
Oh dude, have you seen Smallville? The whole fucking 100 seasons, he refuses to do anything morally wrong and then after a few minutes, he goes and does exactly the opposite. Every friggin episode. Secondly 200th season going on and he's still a minor in a university. " Me: You are tearing me apart Clark, I did not hit you, you are kying.
Brody is an idealist who thinks everyone can be happy with the same outcome. Life is not simple.
Women
@@giovaniiyosef760Exchange that character with a dude it could have been worse. A guy with the exact same ideals as Brody would have punched H at some point (escalating without listening whatsoever). Either way the movie wouldn’t have changed.
Utterly unsuited to her job.
Sometimes you need bad men with good hearts to do BAD things to "men" with bad hearts.
This is how they show to keep people clean they must have their hands dirty
Pretty sure this is based of real events
But who are the bad guys
@@DaMonkie the guys that invaded places
@@siv5342 Bro is quoting call of duty lmao
This movie shows exactly when, where and why sometimes people don't need to think about their conscience in certain situations
this movie exposes the ugly truth of american militarism,,people are too brainwashed with msm propaganda too see it,, this movie exposes us to be the true terrorists of the world(we are terrorist's in the name of fighting terror ,we kill millions of innocent people, destroy countries with the excuse that we are fighting terror) terrorist's are not country bound so its complete joke that a war on terror is invading a specific country while the very logical tactic of securing our borders and being very selective about who we let into our country is 100% ignored,, the 9/11 highjackers could have been born, raised and brainwashed right here in the usa
Exactly.
it also shows that neither side good guys or bad are any different from each other they justify pain an death in different ways but its all wrong, the good guy's kill the bad guys loved ones to save so many other people but they took lives all the same. human beings aren't any different when you talk about causing pain or death. abortion is 1 example
Exactly how Nazis did the holocaust. Now Americans are emotionally prepared for the same thing.
This is a movie not real life .... I. Real life Torture dosnt get you the TRUTH. It just gets the person being tortured to say the thing you want to hear to make the torture stop.
I'm sure that lady would've been marked as a traitor and charged with treason.
I mean, technically she would be. She helped an enemy attack the US. Morally just, to a point.
She will be blame everything that happen same with general and other soldiers that against H. H will just submitted his report to his higher up what happen
So Brody successfully protected future terrorists 😅😂😂
Yeah typical female logic 😂 😅that's y we should never have a women president emotionally damage is dangerous 😊
Now that we can think in retrospective, If the usa got so xenophobic with just 2 towers and +3k deaths, imagine if any islamic fundamentalist got a hold of nuclear weapons set them lose on an american city... The arabic language would be a death tongue by now...
“Do absolutely everything you can to obtain information but don’t do everything cause I’m morally superior”
If the terrorist is using “it’s us versus your people” to justify killing, then empathy and moral character is useless. I don’t think the kids deserved to die. It was also hard to tell if he’d really have said anything if he doubled down, but it didn’t change the fact that HE put that ultimatum down himself. To give kindness to someone who disassociates himself from those he had harmed… is just cruelty to those who could potentially die. This is AFTER he screwed Brody over with misinformation the first time. Karma is not justice, and those kids dying would have been suffering from karma if he didn’t ask for it. H would’ve had a better chance of saving those people if they allowed him to carry out the karma the terrorist had sown.
Reveals the disorganization and weakness of line of command at top levels.
All over the place
It's a movie, not a documentary.
Reveals nothing but the creativity of Hollywood, this isn’t a true story.
That "hit the dislike button twice, just to be sure" line was funny, not gonna lie lol
Thanks
The lesson here is "To keep people safe, Good men are kept to do the dirty job"
As a woman, a mother, a grandmother I have something to say about this. First though...I was an only girl with 4 brothers. I then had five sons of my own...and only one daughter...my last child. It took my daughter to actually point out and convince ME....that the 19 th ammendment needs to be undone and woman need to stay out of "mens" buisiness. Yes, as usual there ARE exceptions...but its definitely NOT the rule that woman need be in any buisiness like this. I do not believe in subjugation of woman, but we aint generally wired like men. Period. That is the point of this movie imo. Im through.✌🏻
one of my all time favorite movies, hardly do you come across a movie that makes you think... this movie did that in spades...
Is it implied that all the bombs go off or just the fourth
@@shanedaley6236 Just the one they get to the others in time.

trade 2 person with millions lives?
"we dont negotiate with terrorists". I love that movie trope that is a complete lie. The U.S. negotiates with terrorists all the time. Prisoner swaps, hostage negotiations, tit for tat.
its not a movie trope, its a real life trope i remember president Bush saying it,,but your correct,,they only practice it when they choose to do so,,when america chooses war over negotiation,,otherwise its supposedly a deterrent , but its not,,,yusefs demand was fairly reasonable ,,the usa looked like the real terrorists here and yusef was fighting for a morally correct cause

Great recap, thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
For the sake of your future, read 1984.
“…and if you disliked it, he the disliked button twice” what a legend 😂😂
So the movie actually teaches people not to have a conscience 🤔
Bingo!
In some cases, yes.
More like the cost of having a conscience...
I would say the man blowing up shopping malls and using nuclear weapons lacked a conscience.
It shows what following blind rules without regards to the situation leads to. Brody was a dumb crybaby which cost them a few thousands to millions of casualties for the life and rights of a terrorist.
this is an awesome movie, must watch!
Neva let another woman in an eterragating room again 🤭😆

It sucks that yusef's core point here is actually pretty agreeable.

welp, that Lady gonna get fired
If she doesn't get fired she'll never hear the end of the time she let a nuke blow up because she was "too nice"
While living up to highest ideal of compassion and morality is what people should strive for is it always obtainable or reachable if others have no regard for such lofty goals, human life, and their own humanity? It comes down to the age old unending battle between good and evil where battle lines can be blurred...
Well said Jerry Springer😂😂
To sum it up Brody is the reason for the casualties 😂😂🤦🏾♂️ then take after the terrorist kids maybe she in on it too atp
Name?

here is what most people dont get, yes sometimes you have to be evil to beat evil, what you cant do is afterwards try to justify your actions or take any pleasure in it. H understands that
Ironically US is the only country to use Nuclear weapon and that too against Japan.
Geez 😞
You lost me at the mispronounced name😂
Yeah except in reality torture/enhanced interrogation rarely gives results.
Seriously bro , then why is Guantanamo bay still active ????
@@death_star731 I said rarely plus Guantanamo is primarily a prison that allows the holding of people too dangerous to keep in the US. Every major nation has some kind of offshore prison. The torture stuff there is exaggerated.
What is the name of this movie
Damn Fury messes up like always........He killed the wife too quickly and also entertained Brody too much..........
Watch the movie. There are reasons why H wanted Brody.
It was the chicks fault.
Is there no sound?
the flaw in this move is that you can scan regions for hire radioactive signatures
They had no idea where to scan for the fourth bomb. Everything about this movie is flawed except for that last part. Why would they keep Brody about of a black ops task force when she keeps getting in the way? To win Yusuf’s trust. Why win the trust of someone who will not waiver on his mission? So you know the US is serious when they have the woman with morals bring in the children to be killed. That was H’s gamble, he knew from the start that Yusuf had a trump card over them and the only thing it could be was a fourth bomb. So it all was just a way to torture Brody, while also making Yusuf trust Brody.
Love the Dad jokes. Lol
I thought I was the only one😂😂

The movie teaches the pain will soon come back to hurt US the exact same way they did to other countries
So it's a movie trying to justify torture with an insane premise that would never happen
Interesting movie. I've seen it. I'm familiar with interrogation practices. I interrogate. Not any opportunities for 'heightened' interrogation just yet. I do feel that I may be somewhat more suitable than many other individuals for 'supercalifragilisticexpialadocious rendition' or whatever it's called. Not much data to study in this field formally. I've had to rely on my own experience enduring interrogation as well as anecdotal examples of interrogations mostly to develop my knowledge base. It was really cool to receive props from Stanley McChrystal in person late last year. He was in charge of Special Forces operations in Afghanistan and Iraq 2002-2007, I believe. Additionally, he and Michael Flynn, former National Security Advisor, singlehandedly corrected the misconduct taking place in regards to interrogation practices in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is no small feat. Fascinating field. #Ihaveahighschooleducation 💀♠️🎯
