Last Video! (Learning to Draw with No Experience)
• Learning How to Draw w...
In this video, I show you how I learned to animate from no experience. Using simple, practical, and repeatable techniques, I was able to achieve a level of animation I only dreamed of. You can follow the exact same steps as I did to achieve similar or even better results. 💪🏼
In my last video, I learned how to draw in 7 days with no experience. Taking my drawing skills I just learned, I applied it to animation to create what you are seeing today. I couldn't even believe that I was able to reach a good level of animation in such a short period of time.
This is my very first time doing animation. If you have any tips that you would like to share, post it in the comments! It won't only be helpful for me, but for anyone else trying to improve their animation skills.

I went to school for 3 years to learn animation, failed school because of burn-out and now, 3 years later, I'm back at the beginning, trying to re-learn everything almost from scratch. Thank you for this video, it made me take some actual time to practice and try again! 😄
I was in the same boat 😭. Everyone who is going through the same thing dont worry your not alone ! We got this
I don't have any experience too, but one of my dream is to make mini films
@@OblivionsCove I don't have experience too but i making animations my animation upload to KZhead and my animation are Goofy ahh animations
I pushed hard to get the degree in 3d animation visual effects and failed to get a good break into the industry. Burned out. Left for IT work. 10yrs later. Made really good money but started feeling pull back towards animation. I have friends who are interested in animation too so the last couple years we've been playing with different animations styles and making stuff. Honestly having the artistic freedom made it appetizing again.
All the best!
I have been animating since 2006. It's a lot of hard work, but it's fun! You did great!👍
Thank you!
@@MichaelBSam it's fun when you know how to draw amd where everything goes
I tried, but i failed, because i didn't try at first
@@ahseymania 😂What...
@@ahseymania mind-blowing moment 🤯
I’m simply amazed this time. I don’t want to animate but I like seeing the process.
Thank you! Yes animating can be very tedious 😅
I love doing animations. My channel is a challenge channel but I can’t help but incorporating animations into my videos. It does take an incredible amount of work though
@@MichaelBSam who's micheal
@@MichaelBSam yeah , who is Micheal
I think it's fun even if it takes so much time
Kudos to him for actually saying how long the process was. As a beginner, everything takes ages to go through, and it's nice to see someone also having trouble with it for a change.
As someone whos always liked picking up new skills and took the position that “a jack of all trades” is more admirable than a master of one, its very obvious that you have an excellent mentality when it comes to picking up new skills and applying the proper methods in learning them. You know that learning a new hobby isnt just the fun you’re having but learning it correctly so you can have even more fun once you’ve established the basics. Brilliant video, amazing improvement and admirable as hell. Such a good job
Thank you, I appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Specialization is for insects.
@@MichaelBSam hey man can you please tell me the name of the drawing tablet you were using?
Love this comment
Yeah, the human being developed to be capable of doing that. I know basic programming, modelling, animating, computation, engineering, mechatronics, physiology, psychology, astrophysics, electronics, 4 languages, a bit of metereology, the mechanisms of a vehicle and how to employ the use of firearms. You can say some of these things are useless, but they're just slots on the inventory of knowledge. Most of them i've learned out of pure curiosity, and went a bit deep into what I knew. Your memory haves a estimated "storage" limit, that's when the neurons cant absorb anymore complex or intricate information, but it's extremely unlikely and nearly impossible to cross that limit, but as long as your mind still in the state then make some good use of it. Accumulation of information will eventually turn into general knowledge. Dont let blockouts inhibit you from reaching the apex of yourself. The key to consume all of this content and archive it mentally from memory is being genuinely interested and focused on what you learn, to process each tidbit of information consciously and assure you know it before proceeding to the next part. Hell, Galileo Galilei was a polymate and had knowledge on several different academic topics.
Its always entertaining to see beginners complain on how much time it takes, it almost never gets old.
So true😂 I wonder if it gets better...
every skill takes time when starting out ,I remember how long it used to me to draw a figure/person and how frustrated I got,I still get a bit annoyed but when I look back at my old drawings I can see a huge inlmprovement and start to feel a lot better
True. I don't do animations but only some. It takes like 30 minutes to do just a 3 SECOND animation
@@Mountain_2 I always like to rush things, took me 30 mins to make 17 seconds animation!
@@andreimanole346 well it depends what you are doing. Stickman animations are easy. So what kind of animation i just tend to use my oc in a random backround doing something those animations are 1-3 seconds long
Watched millions of videos by pro animators and no one ever mentioned these tips and how things were done ...they just simply show the drawing process and thats it...this video really helped and made it look much easier ..maybe cuz begginers understand begginers' problems so they can help better :)
Ive always wanted to learn how to draw and animate and over the past few years ive picked up some basic skills from each area. My drawing is mega shakey though, and even though i understand a lot about the animating process, not being able to draw very obviously impedes the process. These videos honestly shocked me, because it showed me that it doesnt take weeks, months, years to learn how to draw, it just takes dedication and an open mind. Ive been practicing drawing as of late already, but this has inspired me to work at it a lot more, thank you for these crazy videos
Thank you for your kind words Ethan, glad you enjoyed!
I'm not even prepared to start animating yet but this video taught me more than actual tutorials have ☠️
i love how you set up your videos, straight to the point! and wow you learn QUICK i am amazed AND inspired. what device did you use to animate?
Thank you! I currently use a Huion Kamvas 16
@AnimatedWorks do you have a youtube channel ?
Dude you really show how it must be done, dedication!
Thank you!
Its a little bit weird watching this called Michael 😂😂😂😂
Wow the ending was amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing your beginner animation experience! I think all it takes is patience, effort and perseverance to stoop to that artistic level.
This was one of the most creative, down to earth and easy going youtube videos I've ever watched. I wish more youtubers were like you
you made this thing look so simple! Thank you.
My pleasure 😇
Great video on learning to animate without experience! As someone who's always been interested in animation but never knew where to start, this video was super helpful. I love how you broke down the process step-by-step and provided useful tips throughout. Your passion for animation really shines through and it's inspiring to see how much can be achieved with dedication and hard work. Keep up the great content!
It's just so great to see you learn. Really cool mate. Good luck on YT!
Thank you!
As an aspiring animator, this was really refreshing to watch, as well as being informative. Thank you.
Hey man, awesome video! I actually already know how to animate but was curious to see what you would do. It's impressive how much valuable info you managed to fit in a short video, but I'll definitely be recommending this to other newbie animators in the future. But even beyond the animation itself, your personality and the style of your video was awesome, and I can definitely see you blowing up on here someday. Best of luck to you man, keep it up!
I learned nothing about animation and I started my channel with no prior experience I guess I have a LOT more to learn about animation.
This helped me SO much, thank you! 😄
This actually is an amazing piece of art. animators are so underrated. Respect to you man.
I've been trying to find basic steps on animation! This is *exactly* what I was looking for! That you so much, I'll follow these steps and hopefully it'll make me better! Thank you!
this is hands down the best animation guide I've ever seen, thanks for making it!
That was so cool. Well done man! ❤️
Animation looks sick🔥
Thanks bro!
this is encouraging. Thanks so much man! Happy animating.

One of the better .. simpler, quick n straight to the point tips vids for starting to learn to animate ive seen ... really liked it. Cheers man.
You did so well for your first time! You've inspired me to start learning as well!
Dude, that is the pinnacle of self learning. Great stuff
Woah you know whats interesting about this.. is how informative this is- what app, settings, what to do, tips this is the most helpful animating tutorial I’ve ever seen.
I am craving for more animation videos, T_T This has been a great help no cap. I am using Animate right now and I want to be better and this hits the spot. hoping for more videos like this.
Pretty good video, thanks for sharing your knowledge with those of us who’d like to take up animation as a hobby or otherwise!
How did I fall in love with your channel with just one video? I am going to follow this and try to use this week to work on animating.
Great video! Thank you for teaching the basics on how to animate, and your final animation was really good! :)
Dude, you gained a new subscriber. What a genius, fun and inspiring video! THANK YOU!
Been thinking about trying this out, thank you for this content :)
I’m trying to get my animation degree even tho I am still new to art my friends at I keep improving on my sketching skills. So this video really did help after I saw a shirt on KZhead saying how competitive this career is. This actually helped me calm down and helped me think on the steps I needed to take in order to get to my goal. And yea it will be painstaking to get every detail but you showed that it’s worth it! Thank you so much for making this video!
Damnnn, that was really entertaining! The last bit made me smile as it all came together.
ive been interested in animation for years and have always admired animated works so im teaching myself how to animate!
i've been trying to animate for a while so this really helped. thanks!
Ive been wanting to make an animation after a project from school and this really helped me start
this tutorial makes me respect animators even more. didnt knew that animating a mouth talking was that hard
This was awesome 👏🏻 thanks for all your effort
Lol…cool results! Thanks for taking the time out to share a passion you have
I got inspired this week and got some uh old versions of software to use and pulled out a Huion tablet from a bin. I never used it with said softwares before and it works soooo well!! I used to animate when I was in middle school and I think I'm gonna take it up again now. I always have funny poster or meme ideas and it'll be fun to actually start making things instead of having ideas and then forgetting. I think overall I just want to keep making stuff. Learn more audio production, some photoshop, some Resolve etc. In tandem with IT school I'll be a mofo in a few years and in a better position to start building side clients doing odds and ends.
Wow!!! This unbelievably awesome! I love animation but yes it takes sooo much time!
Bro why you so underrated.... 👁️👄👁️
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Just starting out today (I am 62), 14th video of animation thus far and totaly impressed. Thanks.
Gl!
I like how creative this was
This is the fastest I've ever saved, liked and subscribed. It took just one video. I'm so impressed.

Ive been struggling with animations for long so Ill follow your steps ty for the video. Also, you got a new sub now
omg, that was fricking good. so entertaining. and talented. thanks
this man makes animating so easy, and most people who know animation know that if you want good animation, you will really get tired doing it, I mean he really did the last scene in 14 HOURS, good job BTW
482th subscriber! Now, i believe, i can draw and animate too! Thank you for encouraging noobs 😁 You're awesome! Keep up the good work ❤️😍 Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
Thank you!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You have no idea how useful this was to me tysm
This video is so well done. Love it
man I love how u make seem so simple
this was super helpful as an intro - cant believe just doing the lip sync would take that long! props to you
I m about to start my animation journey and after watching this video man!! I cant wait
This super relatable and makes me want to start doing things I've never done before
First time here, impressive work!

Thank you! And yes, I 100% agree with you.
What an amazing storytelling technique, it made video so much entertaining. New sub here, keep it up😃
Thank you!
Im an animator since early 2021 and i went in without experience or even practice. I made my first animation within just 3 hours and then made another. Currently there's a massive difference with my early works and to what i put out today
Can i ask about what app are you using?, or the app that he used in the video?
@@FF-dq2mo I used Flipaclip on phone, but then switched to flipaclip on the pC emulator Bluestacks
Dude I can’t believe I haven’t seen your channel yet, this is great 👍
exellent job done by you MBS it helps me out so much thanks
This was so funny, it made the idea of learning animation a little less stress inducing. :D
Great video! I’ve been looking for this foreverrrrrrrr! Thank you! I even subscribed.
Got in my recommendations and I liked your simple style I had to give a sub
This is VERY useful for learning animations. Liked and subscribed!
This is actually really helpful! :D
LETS MAKE YOU FAMOUS BRO in all honesty tho; i have such a hard time learning and remembering all of that and always just wanna do it, problem is that just doing it when its photoshop or whatever is kinda impossible with all the stuff u have to know before. Seeing ur approach of just hammering out 14 hours of animating makes me so motivated to do stuff. I saved the videos for when i have less uni things to do and can focus on learning something new, thank you so much for this man.
Your comment made my day. Thank you so much! It all starts out with the want to discover that curiosity inside of you to want to learn new things. The approach I take is if I want to reach a goal, I start from the goal and look at the steps backwards. Now just follow the steps going forward and you’re golden. I wish you the best!
@@MichaelBSam Im glad man! Keep going with these banger videos! Ohh that makes so much sense, looking at the goal first kinda removes all the anxiety in starting out in the first place. Thank you!
awesome!! ^w^ smooth animation!
My man is the definition of grind
Ive wanted to animate and i dont know how to draw so i saw your other video and just saw this one. grind starts now. My goal is to eventually animate an entire episode of jojos part 7 by myself seeing how long only lip syncing took you and how i have no experience in anything i have my work cut out for me but im confident that ill be able to no matter how long it takes
this is really nice!
keep it going ma man you have huge potential
I just started animation and you are doing great
I mastered all of this, very easy, thank you!
Thanks! Your video content is the safest and most useful
This is so cool! I even learned from this myself!
This was an amazing video!
This is really cool. Thanks for the video, man, and great job animating!
Just starting to learn animation. Got a ball that bounces / roles for now. Gonna do the rest of the stuff you do in here
You're so cool bro, thanks for this vid, been wanting to learn. Abt to take animation course in college, hopefully survives bro. Now, I need to learn how to draw first, thanks for inspiring me bro, means a lot. : )
Great video👏👏👏 Thank you!!
really good work, especially the end 😁
That outro was so damn goood well done man!
I already like animating, but this really helped! Also this is the first video I've seen of you, but you seem really funny!
