  • Hello Robert, I love your videos and your willingness to save many of the young chicks that don't get enough food. You're magnificent ! I'm sure you've made many nest boxes, but maybe a few more won't hurt? This is my first time on here, so perhaps I've not realized just how many you made for these magnificent birds. I love the tawny owls and the kestrels. Those seem to be my favorites. How difficult and expensive is it to make nest boxes? Perhaps I can donate?

    @EagleDream7777@EagleDream7777Ай бұрын
    • Thank you so much, there are many nest boxes available however there is always fierce competition for the best ones. To donate towards conservation and rehabilitation work you can do so here - www.robertefuller.com/support_and_donate/

  • hi thanks. I was looking for the swan behaviour when laying eggs. I see that the swan from the movie opens her beak in characteristic way. My swan does exactly like this, apart from this looks fine. Thanks.

  • Theres a dam where I used to live that has mute swans nesting there every year. One year I took my daughter to see it and see if we could get a glimpse of the eggs from the path. The nest was massive and the nest was unoccupied and we got to see the eggs. Then to our horror a dirty big rat came scuttling out from the pile of nesting material that made up the nest. It was inside the nest. Not in the cup the eggs are incubated in but inside the nest it’s self. We watched and a couple came scuttling in and out. We even seen them coming in and out it while the swan was on the nest and the swan didn’t seem too bothered. It creeped me and my daughter out though
