Greetings, dear listeners. 'Tis Maestro Benedetto, with a melodic offering brewed from the depths of dark academia. This mix, titled 'For After The World Has Fallen', is a symphony woven with sombre threads of melancholy and introspection.
Each piece contained within this mix has been meticulously selected to guide you through the shadowed halls of learning, across moonlit libraries adorned with ancient tomes, and into the very heart of this rich, dark aesthetic. A lament for a world lost, a solace for the souls still yearning.
This collection of classical music, darkened and steeped in the poignant tones of the Gothic, encapsulates the essence of dark academia. Let these sonnets speak to your soul, invoking thoughts of bygone eras, of quiet introspection within the hallowed halls of learning, and the whispers of forgotten philosophers echoing through the annals of time.
Tags to guide you through the musical labyrinth: Dark Classical Music, Dark Academia, Moody Classical Mix, Gothic Aesthetic, Study Music, Relaxing Classical, Philosophical Inspiration, Dark Academia Vibes, Melancholic Symphony, Classical Music Playlist.
Immerse yourself in this voyage across time and thought, as you dive into a world where the sun has set, but the mind never sleeps. Let this mix be your companion in your after-hours journey of intellectual pursuit.
Yours in melody,
Maestro Benedetto.

  • Oooh! I like the picture! Likely disconnected from it's famous counterpart, but still... It almost tells a story just by looking at it while contrasting it with the famous "fallen angel". Fallen Angel tells depicts the Lucifer just after he has fallen, it shows him crying and embarrassed to have lost. No grief or regret, only sheer embarrassment of how easily God "fought" and won. The second however, this one however... Depicts the absolute feeling of hatred he feels. He wants revenge. He thinks "HOW DARE HE! HOW DARE HE DO THIS TO ME!" "He is no God, he is selfish and foolish old man, blinded by his own mortal creation!" "I who am perfection incarnate; How can I be ignored! He only cares about his despicable creation!" It is here where Samael relinquished all holiness, for it resembled the Old Man, and he wanted nothing to do with him. It is here were Samael became Lucifer. For now he, would bring HIS OWN light, without having the All Loving Fool make a "mockery" of him again.

As if I was a mountain that knew, About the tranquil peace of the world... A mountain so wise it could understand the loneliness Of a fisher waiting. For the selfish sun to rise and share its warmth. I wish I was a machine, Understanding the seconds that throw a kingdom of peace to a naked country of war I wish I was smart, Smart enough to understand, The scorn of a single poppy in its field, Mutilated and disgraced, By the selfish whims of a thousand monkeys concerned with their wealth. I wish I was tranquility, For all the atoms in the universe would dance together And hear the silent prayers of a fool Blind to its own duty and joy. I wish I was the end, For I would admire The collapse of infinite stars and timid flowers, For I would hear a silence so great in the void of creation, Only my laugh would resonate...

  • The compilation's purpose was successfully achieved. Every time I listen to this masterful work, I am reminded of this world's demise. Everything as we know is being corrupted and totally destroyed, and culture is the most important element being corrupted. Culture determines our values, behavior, the modus operandi in general. The three main pillars of morality are philosophy, culture and ethics. Corrupt the first and the subsequent are damaged or permanently incapacitated. Philosophy is closer to extinction, for in a world of lies, truth has no place. Culture has been under siege since modernity, therefore, ethics, being the major factor that determines the nature of our actions, is severely compromised. There are plenty of examples, if one isn't in denial to see. Unfortunately, that's the truth. Despite its bitterness, it brings freedom.
