  • Unlike most other tenors, who are, frankly, a bit too bombastic for my tastes, Jonathan's voice is warm and sensitive, and full of feeling; he has the uncanny ability to modulate his tone and delivery on a dime. I have heard some people say that Jonathan's voice is like a cross between this tenor and that tenor, but really, Jonathan's unique voice is in a class of its own.

It doesn't feel like if you were just singing, I really enjoy when you sing because to me it's more like a story that you are telling with differents nuances as long as the song goes on. • Jesus John. Have you ever become something. I saw this guy on AGT many years ago. Voice blew me away. His shy and humble charm hiding this incredible voice with a veil of insecurity due to the cruel nature of judgemental peers in youth. I watched his videos from that show then went about my life. Always remember him though. Then I stumble on this and see what he's become. Wow. He has the power and control of a great opera tenor yet he has the sensitive soul and timing of a blues/jazz singer. The way he has mastered the combination of soft and powerful vocal styles within the same piece is nothing short of moving. This video was like a walk in an opium field and now I'm going to slip down a rabbit hole of his music.
