odd for the Churchill crocodile and i think it’s the VIII the section of roof that you can see from the front is penetrable 100% of the time i have been exploiting that weak spot in tanks that can’t pen the front 152mm plates

The Cromwell 1 is definitely something you should try, an extremely reliable tank with it's stabiliser, and one of my favourite low tier tanks I've played. Definitely a lot of fun!
I like the Cromwell V even its got a nice lineup at 3.3

You need to use not 365K but BR-365A to have extreme angle performance. It also have more explosive in it.

@DecidedlyNinja there are a number of tanks that he didn't even get an Ace in in his videos, particularly the really bad ones at low tier.
Maybe because he didn't run around like a fool and played to his strength while others wasn't aware of their surroundings. There's no bias he wasn't spotted long enough most of the kills the enemy wasn't aware of him

the 85mm APHE has been a monster of a shell since the first days of GF; i have fond memories of donking overconfident panthers through the turret cheeks before volumetric, and it was the main reason i called myself a ussr main for so long after grinding all the other trees; the 85 is just such a blast to use and keeps itself at the top of my most played lists.

Hey odd, you should revisit the LVT-40 for france. When they put it in it was OP at 2.3, now its 3.7 and would love your opinion on the br placement
I play it all the time, it's still got lots of mobility, the cannon side shots everything and front penetrates a lot, and the armor is incredibly trolly still. If the armor isn't fixed it's still OP, as side shots are just absorbed and do practically no damage FAR too often. IMHO it's a better tank hunter than SPAA, but it does SPAA just fine too.

I was in a sim custom battle with a couple small streamers, it was russia and usa vs germany on stalingrad, I was on the russian team with the d-5t, and somehow managed to clutch as the last person alive and killed I think 6 or 8 in one life. Pretty damn good tank.
You reminded me of the British tanker we had teaching us how to drive/operate Bradley fighting vehicles in the U.S army. Green recruits in division that was just standing up, somebody had to show the drivers and TC's how its done.
Have you considered doing videos on your favourite tank for each tier for a nation? or maybe even across all nations?

Odd, you should make a video on the centurion mk 1, I’ve almost never seen people make videos on it, and it’s the first British tank with actually usable reverse gear. It made 6.0 my favourite lineup as well!

The centution mk1 is a gun tank and it gets tiger 2 players really mad because of the apds.

6.0 Britain is very good you get cent 1 which is decently fast with a panther ufp good reverse good gun turret is kinda bad but very trolly, also the challenger a British m18 that can ufp a panther, Lancaster meme bomb, and spit mk18e which is my favorite cas plane in the game and sea fury or tempest v really like to see odd take out 6.0 Brit

dear mister BawZ i must thank you with highest regard and as much sincerety as i can accumulate over such short time as your actions in this video somehow convinced a good number of people in arcade to play this tank for which i must thank you greatly because by god, they do not perform like you, and the last few days of grinding for the winter event in the SU152 and ISU 152 were a total walk in the park. out of the tanks of tier 4.7 to tier 5.7 this one is one of the more enjoyable ones to face up against. good enough gun to keep them confident, bad enough armor to make killing them a no brainer. wishing you cheerfull holidays and a happy new year, Lupus

The T-34-85 is probably the most fun medium tank in the game and seeing someone of your skill level playing it was great fun. I do prefer the T-34-85 at 5.7 because of the extra turret armour which I've frequently bounced panther off of, it's just so sad gaijin killed the ussr 5.7 lineup.
Honestly fuck them for moving the is2 to 6.0, now the only good lineups are 4.7 and maybe 6.3
Considering that I frequently can't pen t34s with perfect shots at 5.7 I can't say that I agree with your assessment. Don't even get me started on T44s.

I got 14 kills on Normandy using the KV-122 and T-34 85 d-5t ( 9 in t-34 and 5 in KV) and it was the best match I have ever had, the t-34 is truly the king of flanking. I even broke my kill record! By one kill tho
The capped shells a nice and all, but aphe is wayyy better post pen. So a lot of the comments were probably about the vehicles that have no option for aphe (which France and Britain have a lot of). Entertaining as always OddBawZ, nice to have you back.

This video give me such nostalgia. I played the crap out of the T34-85 Dt-5, back in the days the T-54s were the top dogs of ground rb. It was (is) such a noob friendly tank but also had alot of room to get better. To this day my Brain instictly shoots the cheaks of the Panter due playing this tank so much, too bad volumetic screw that one up

odd, if you want low tier nuke rounds use the P40s APHE. 3.3 with 270g of TNT. Or, at 2.0 theres a italian casemate with the same shells, just with less penetration. or theres 2 different 2.3 TDs with the same shell with either marginally less pen or the same pen.
can u use the chieftain next? everyone hates it for some reason but i love it. i can front plate most tanks up to 9.0 and it just survives things it shouldn’t

T-34-85 (and T-44) are hand down my single fav tanks to play in this game. just the good ol YEET DELETE round chews german armor.
To those who say APHE doesn't improve damage considerably IRL, note: The shell he's using has more explosive mass than a WW2 vintage anti-personnel hand grenade. That shell would over pressure any tank it made it's way into, assuming the shell detonates as intended. The British opted for AP because their APHE was detonating prematurely, reducing penetration.

Hmmm.....speaking of suffering in tank, there is one that comes into my mind. It's not British but Italian. C13 T90. Not only the thickest armore on your turret is 8mm, which means even 7,6mm MG can pen you. The short 90mm HEAT-FS as abysmal. Fly everywhere, even if you fire at target at 600m, has 250mm of pen which sometimes just don't pen at all. And of course 0 post pen damage. If you don't aim specifically at ammo, you will get max one crew member. And can't forget that you can get happy IF you over-presure a light or open top tank because sometimes you don't do that with your weak HEAT-FS

I am absolutely in love with the Concept 3, I've been pairing it with the Wyvern, Spitfire Mk IX or even the Stirling, so try that if you don't mind :D (also Ystervark is at the same BR and it is my favorite SPAA in the entire game)

Great stuff made me want to load back up my account when I did I realized I was too poor to play the game cause I only have 220 silver lions and 0 golden eagles so at most I could play 1-2 matches per side and I just closed the game. I will just have to watch your videos instead.

volumetric would be great if it worked or any of the fixes worked, there was supposed to be a patch that fixed overlapping plates doubling armor thickness instead using the thicker plates values

you have the blackprince? i used to play a few years back and i bought it to grind out what there was of the british tree at the time (im not sure how much more has been added since) the blackprince made itself a little place in my heart for how much fun i had playing, taking half ammo and just broadsiding people while eating shell all up your left side (taking half of the maximum ammo stores all ammo on the right side). after checking i see youve already played the blackprince, but i would still like to my boi taken out for another drive :)
Unlocked the Chi-Ri II a couple days ago and yesterday I got obliterated by T34s that used to be harmless at lower BRs. I guess I was up against this shell then 😂

When solid AP got buffed across the board because that’s all france had, I switched over to it for 76mm and 90mm guns. It was slightly lower damage than the round with explosive filler, but that extra penetration was a nice benefit. Wasn’t super thrilled at the shift from test numbers to an internal ballistics calculator, though it definitely nerfed one shell I’ve faced a bunch. Anyone remember when the long 8,8 had a 60 deg angle penetration of 105mm with it’s AP shell? Don’t know off the top of my head how close that was to historical, they weren’t ever dead on, but they still mostly followed the trends for each specific round to that gun.
Yeah T33 sucks in actually realism. The actual shell can upper front plate panthers at 500m and so could M82 at shorter ranges and yet T33 instead of its actual pen of 201mm gets 170s range of pen
